 ..and she had to cross just a couple of squares to finish; the alchemist moved on planning to land one square before the line to pick up the last banana on the track, but unfortunately, Pleased Pete had his own view on the matter, or may be it was just too tired, so Pete made one more move and actually finished. Wilson didn't even get a chance to protest before he was dragged to the scariokart booth, where Madeline tossed a controller to him before selecting Sparkly Sam as her player and putting her game face on. All of these booths were awesome so far, and she secretly added mariokart to a list of things she'd one day have to smuggle into Deus.

“What?” It was kind of adorable to see the smaller doll tug the taller doll—maybe they were siblings??—toward the Scario Kart Booth. Wilson awkwardly stumbled after Madeline. “Playing where?” When he looked up at the banner and read the words he straightened up a bit and scrutinized the words further. “Scario Kart?” He shrugged, grinning. “Fine with me!”
As Madeline selected her player, Wilson opted to select the same one because why not. However, as soon as they started the other hunter ran into a turtle. Wilson frowned and decided to run into the turtle too so they were even. Quote:

SPECIAL CHALLENGE: I'm CHALLENGING REN! The Scario Kart game! Death priestess have been hearing about it from all the corners: boils and ghouls of all the age categories were asking the direction to this particular booth all over the Fright Night fair. It was indeed fancy and attractive, attractive so much that Heidla decided to try it herself having absolutely no experience. But wasn't that for fun, after all? She was amazed by a tall gryphon boil with light blonde hair who was explaining visitors the rules. Apparently, he was the club leader. Heidla always believed the best training is an actual field practice, and what can be more useful than a one-to-one duel with the professional? I challenge thee! Heidla picked a player with the funny name Happy Harry, and started hoping that Harry would bring her some luck. Apparently, Happy Harry was mocking her. How Ren is actually doing this? Her own player was soooooo slooooooow, the red square it landed on was still in the beginning of the track, while her opponent wasn't too far from finish. She couldn't really understand what she was doing wrong, so the priestess kept trying hoping for a miracle. PLEASE MARK YOUR PLACE ON THE GAMEBOARD IF YOU ARE ABLE TO! Suddenly her Happy Harry shuddered and rushed forward. Heidla could not believe her eyes: the slow thing was moving so freaking fast that if it had such speed from the beginning they would finish already! Just in one turn it crossed half of the track, picked up one more banana, and landed on "smile" green square cutting another third of the track. But, unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen. While she was desperately trying to move on, her opponent successfully crossed the finishing line, and Happy Harry was stuck faaar away from the end of the track. Besides, it managed to land on a tiny purple square that most of other karts easily avoided: not only she wasn't able to win, but on top of it the angry face on that square ate 5 of her points, so she only were able to collect 30. May be she really needs to try this game more, she thought, but her disappointment was difficult to hide. PLEASE MARK YOUR PLACE ON THE GAMEBOARD IF YOU ARE ABLE TO!
