Krieg looks at Aislin and says "Your friend gave me a second chance. I'm repaying that favor. If you don't trust me go ahead. Once all this incident is solved, we are no longer allies." He looks forward wondering when Shira would go
"Thank you for joining us, Aislin." Shira said jokingly. She found what the kishin did next to be a bit random but shrugged it off "Yeah yeah... God I just want to go home already..." she said, muttering the last part. She looked back at Miles and Nexus "See you guys later. Remember to tell Magnus that I am looking for him." she said "Aislin, look alive!" she called before taking off ((exit))

Well, this doesn't sound suspicious at all. Not one bit. Aislin thought sarcastically rather surprised that Shira was willing to go. Well, any info was going to be worth it she guessed. "Nice seeing you guys. Bye." she said to Miles and Nexus before kicking off and following the pair to wherever the kishin was bringing them. //exit//

Miles nodded to Shira as she took off. He'd let Magnus know next time he saw him. They did run into each other occasionally and sometimes hung out. They were both fairly busy but they kept up their friendship. He turned to Nexus after watching Shira's motorcycle roar off. "I sure hope Lady Death was right about letting him live," he told Nexus, putting his hands in his pockets. "Well, looks like it's just us and the desert," Miles told Nexus. "How have you been?" He asked, curious what his old friend had been up to.

The boy watched as the people took their leave. As a member of the Death family, it was obvious that Shira was usually busy. Miles spoke to Nexus about the Kishin that was kept alive "I'm sure she knows what she is doing, besides, he didn't seem too hostile." He looked to his left and right, the desert stretched out really far. "I have been well, did a little traveling, went solo for a bit. But it did get kind of boring, not getting caught up in your mischief like this whole event." He chuckled lightly "How about you? It's obvious I've missed a lot."
Miles gave a small smile. "I do seem to draw drama on a regular basis," he admitted. He looked back at Nexus. "I've stayed in Death City for the most part; focusing on my studies when the City wasn't under attack. Seems like the world is a bit more of a dangerous place than when I got here though." He looked back out towards the desert. "Don't know if it's because the world is becoming more dangerous or I'm just starting to be more aware of it."

Nexus nodded at Miles' words "Well, new evils have indeed surfaced but old evils have died out. The world needs balance, the more meisters and weapons that appear to fight for good, the more evil beings will show. As we grow they grow. It's the way the world works. Each power will grow until one is completely extinguished." He looked out towards the expanding desert. "But one thing will always be the same, no matter what happens, a smile will always go a long way." He grinned towards Miles.
Miles thought for a moment. "The more good, the more evil, huh?" He asked rhetorically. "And yes, I do believe a smile can go a long way. Both a good one and an evil one." He looked Nexus for a moment. "I've seen both."

Nexus shrugged and put his hands into his pockets "Well, they both have their reasons. I guess time will tell which one ends up lasting." He started walking back towards the city "Come on, this sun is starting to burn. Let's go grab something to eat. Unless you would rather have my cook make something."
Miles looked back at Nexus. "I'm fine either way. Don't let me impose." He looked up at the sky as the sun began to set. Nexus was right though, it was getting late. He didn't realize how much time they had spent coming here and conversing with Lady Death and the strange kishin. He was told that time seems to fly by when one was having fun. That certainly seemed to be the case.

Nexus continued walking, not fast by any means. "Oh come on Miles, it's been a long time. You choose what you want. Invite people if you like. Besides, everyone at the mansion will be happy to see you again." He looked towards the city in the distance. It seemed to really have made progress rebuilding since the attack. It was pretty much done really.
Miles thought for a moment. "Well, I suppose I'd like to see everyone in the mansion again too, if that's alright," he replied. "Can't think of anyone I could invite right now though. I've kept mostly to myself; just how I am."
