Penny followed a the ginger boy down the hall to the music club, she was a bit unsure of attending but she did enjoy singing and though that was usually in the shower that didn't mean she couldn't do so in front of others. Feeling a bit timid she was eased some by Rick's reassuring smile. She smiled back and took a deep breath relaxing. She walked past him through the door giving thanks and was faced with the group of people already starting to arrive. Sticking as close to Rick as she could with out being strange she followed him over to the group of other students and was introduced. "Hello." She greeted with a small wave, and her nervous tendancy to bite her thumb came about but she pushed it away letting her pride shine brighter as she though a Slytherin should. He sat down and she joined sitting next to him. Her eyes fixed to his guitar, liking the idea of him playing song for her. It was a strange thought to her as she wasn't used to talking to anyone really let alone thinking of them in a more intimate way. She shook her head of the idea, finding it silly and listened to what he was saying. "Well I can sing, I'm not terrible used to doing it around others but I'd give it a go if you have a song in mind. " She offered unsure of what he could play. "I am also fair on a violin but I don't enjoy classical music as much, I prefer electric." She added though she only played at home as to not bother others while at school.

((OOC: outfit in left picture)) Ariana turned to see who entered through the door and greeted everyone. "Hey, Chloe!" she exclaimed, smiling at the girl with the guitar. I never learned how to play that properly, she realized, her smile faltering slightly. Steele taught her the basics, but now that he left Hogwarts and her, she wasn't going to learn from him. The redhead was obviously still upset by her ex boyfriend dumping her for football. Why was football so important to him anyway? He was a wizard! Football was for muggles. The only reason why Ariana was even the slightest bit interested in that sport was to support Steele, but apparently, her support wasn't enough. While the head of the club had been pondering on her last relationship, two other students walked in. One greeted the others. "Hi. I don't think I've seen you here before," the redhead said questioningly. Sure, she's seen Penny around school and on the quidditch pitch several times, but never in the music room. At least, she didn't think so.

Location: Music Room "Hey Rick." Chloe said as he came in and introduced Penny. Setting her guitar down Chloe got up and went over to him and Penny. "Hi Penny..." she greeted. She was really trying to work on her nervous around new people. "My name's Chloe it's nice to meet you." she added a little more confidently. So this girl was a Slytherin that wasn't a bad thing maybe she was nice. Status: Happy With: Music club people List of Knowledge: Progress OOC: --- Whiskers the Cat

((OOC: outfit in left picture)) Ariana glanced at the door, unsure if anyone else was about to come in or not. This usually happened by the second half of the year. Near the beginning, there were always a lot of students in the Music Club. Later on, it seemed to die down quite a bit. But hey, students got busy. It was understandable. Homework would pile up, and some had personal issues they had to work out. That, however, wouldn't stop the redhead from sharing the song she wrote with whoever was here. "Hey, guys!" she called to the several students here. "Can you tell me what you think of this?" she asked, propping up next to the piano. The girl started playing before she sang Better Left Unsaid. Although it started out as a sad song when she began writing it, by the end of the performance, a large smile was plastered across her lips.

Muggleborn // Single Caitlin practically skipped into the music room. She was feeling rather cheery and she was quite excited for the day. Today was special, not only because the music club started up again, but she got to sing a duet. It wasn't often she sung with people. After all, she had only done it once before. And, it helped she was singing one of her favorite songs...ever.
Cait smiled at Ari when she noticed her, "Hello Ari! How're you today? You're singing today, right?" The Gryffindor beamed at the older girl. It was sort of odd for her to be this smiley and giggly, but she found it...sort of nice. Maybe she'd act like this more often.

((OOC: outfit in picture)) Ariana looked up when she heard a girl's voice greet her. "Hey, Cait!" she exclaimed, a smile stretching onto her face. The two girls hadn't ever been close with each other, but Ariana did consider her as one of her mates. Especially during the period of time that the Gryffindor dated another Gryffindor who was a good friend of Ariana's. "I'm good, and you?" she answered and asked. Upon hearing the brunette's next question, the redhead nodded. "Yep, just like the beginning of every year. I'm hoping you are, too!" The first meeting of the year always had many students performing, and the seventh year always made sure she had something whether or not it was an original or just a cover of a song that already existed.

Robin 'Theo' Gibbs Eleven year old Football Prodigy House: Gryffindor{|}Football Club: TBA{|}Mood: TBA Theo made his way into the club. He had heard about a music club and it instantly interested him. He had picked up guitar a year ago and was quite good at it. He really picked up on it on those long drives with his parents to football tournaments, training, and practice. It was awesome that the wizards played music here.
He walked to the girl who seemed to be the head. She was...beautiful...was the only word to describe it. But he got the confidence to go up and talk to her. "Hello, am I allowed to be here?" he asked her with a small smile on his face. I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.

Location: Music Club Chloe came into the music room with her guitar in hand. She was ready for a new year of fun even if she had OWLs to be concerned about. "Hello everyone." she said happy to be back to doing what she loved. It was relaxing compared to the stressing of studying. "This sure beats studying." she said taking out her guitar from its case. She of course made sure to practice when she wasn't studying her heart out so at least she wasn't rusty. "How is everyone today?" Chloe asked happily. Location: Music Club Leonette was getting used to the Hogwarts life and when Chloe told her about the music club she was all there. Skipping down the halls she headed into the music room. She saw two older students one of which she knew, a boy she remembered to be in her year and house and then there was Chloe her cousin. "Hey Chloe." Leonette said going over to her cousin. "Leo, I had a feeling you'd show." Chloe told her with a wink. "You know me to well." she replied. Turning her attention to the others in the room Leonette smiled. "Hello my name's Leonette but you can just call me Leo." she introduced with a bright smile. This was just another place in Hogwarts Leonette could be herself. Remy walked into the music room, looking a bit sad, yet happy at the same time. This was her last year for a lot of things, but Music Club was one she would miss the most. Her electric violin was in the case at her side, but she wasn't sure if she was even going to play the instrument.
Gold eyes settled on a pair of familiar girls and one unfamiliar boy. She walked over to them, a soft smile gracing her lips. "Hello Ariana, Caitlin, and new boy? My name is Remy, and I'm the co-owner of the club, alongside Ari. What's your name?" Her short hair was swooped elegantly over her eyes, which had been done with black eyeliner and a pale silver shimmer.
Remy glanced back at the door, waiting to see if Rufus would indeed join her, as she had invited him. Hopefully he would come see her, as she had a song to sing just for him. Maybe he was just a bit late. She always got to the club early anyway. That was it. Now she just had to play it cool... if she could.

Robin 'Theo' Gibbs Eleven year old Football Prodigy House: Gryffindor{|}Football Club: TBA{|}Mood: Confident Robin looked at the taller woman who directed a question to him. She was quite the woman as well, and he almost smirked at that thought, but he held back nonetheless. He smiled at her and then began to speak confidently, at least, as confident as he could muster.
"My name is Robin, but call me Theo. It's my middle name and I'd much rather go by that," he told her, still hoping he was in the right place. HE still wasn't sure, but he would find out eventually. He didn't want for it to be one of those awkward situations where he accidentally gets into something that he truly did not want to do.
"This is a very interesting room you guys are using here," he told her, pointing out the obvious, but he was eleven, who cares. He was still in awe about everything at this castle and he truly could not get over how large it is. He came from a big house owned by an upper middle class family, but this place probably had to be about 20 times larger than his abode. I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.

Muggleborn // Single Caitlin grinned at the older girl, "I'm doing well!" Cait's grin widened as more people filed into the room. Two first years, Theo and Leo, she had met them at the Sorting...sort of, a fifth year -- Chloe, she believed, and a seventh year -- Remy. When Theo questioned if he was allowed to be in the room, she nodded to him, even though the question wasn't directed at her, "Anyone and everyone is welcome to the Music Club. Hello Remy! How're you doing today?" Cait questioned the older Gryffindor, then ran fingers through her hair. She pulled a single bobby pin out of her hair and used it to pin her bangs back, since they got in her way whenever she was performing.

You see, you'd love to run home, but you know you ain't got one Cuz you're livin' in a world that you're best forgotten When you're thinkin' you're a joke and nobody's gonna listen To the one small point I know they've been missing around hereRick entered the room, his guitar case slung over one shoulder as he scanned the room. He noticed Ari and Remy right off the bat, and nodded at Cait and the new boy. Setting the case down, he decided to wave to the others and find a quiet seat. He was sure he was going to have to sing something. He watched the people there quietly, thinking that he ought to wait for Jacob at least. The boy hadn't had a chance to do much in the club last year, well, anything really, and he wanted to make sure his brother wouldn't feel off for missing a year. ---------------------------------- Location: Music Room Thinking: So, what song am I singing this time? You can make the hero you are With your brains, your aim, and your battle stars Everybody's got a story, of all their troubles, all their glories Tell me yours you cannot bore me, there's a hero in youJacob entered the room not long after his brother. His flute case was hanging from his hand, but he didn't know if he would play it. A year out of practice was hard for anyone, and he was afraid he had slacked off a bit. The muscle memory was there, just his flute felt different to him. Then again, he had grown in his time unconscious, so that might be why. Dodging though people, he gave a small grin and a wave as he walked, hoping that well, he wasn't completely lost. He saw his brother easily enough, and went to sit next to him. He glanced toward Rick, studying him for a moment, and shrugged. Oh well. His brother seemed to be lost in thought again, which of course left the teen to greet people. "Umm, hey Ari, Remy, Cait. Sorry about... well... How were your summers?." Smooth, real smooth. He was certain that if a certain redhead were in the room, he'd be cackling like a loon at his response. It wasn't like he planned on sleeping through a year! ---------------------------------- Location: Music Room State: Feeling Off OOC: ... ---------------------------------- Socks
