Araima was a little curious why Gale cut their conversation before it started. To her it seemed a little odd for him but Jennet didn't look like she minded too much. "Nice to meet you too. We should talk again sometime." she said as they walked away. She raised a delicate brow at Gale. "What was that about Gale? And is it bad that she would notice?"

"Because she's nosy, really nosy. You let her to her own devices now and we'll never be rid of her. She peeps through the windows, invites herself over. If any one, Jennet will figure out our secret the moment she thinks we're hiding something."
By the time Gale explained everything there was to know about avoiding Jennet, they had already checked them both out at the register and heading back home.
"Humans, aren't straightforward. Sometimes we wear masks that hide who we are. Not litteral masks of course."

Araima frowned. "This is going to be confusing. How do you know who to trust? I mean not everyone in my home is nice, but their never not what they show themselves to be." she remarked. She was fascinated with their technology. There economy seemed based completely on money. Interesting. As they talked they walked out the door and back onto the streets.

Gale turned his head towards Araima. "You will understand very fast. Believe me, while you're here I will show you cases of it..."
Eight (Elven) Four (Human) Months Later...
It was about now that Gale and Araima retuned back to her realm. Araima was fourteen months along, and seeing that time was running short for them by now, Gale decided ask her brothers to teach him a trade while they were resting here.
As far as their neighbors on the human side were aware, they were on vacation...
They were at her parent's house at the time. A lovely place, one of the few elven homes just a bit bigger than common as it was to support more than one child. Gale had just returned from learning how to craft and farm. Wasn't particularly easy. As a human, he could only do so much without magic.
"Araima, I'm back! Where are you?" He called for his pregnant fiancee as he searched around the house for her.

Araima was sitting in the garden out back tending the little flower garden in the back yard. It was something to pass the time. The window was open across from her, so when she heard Gale calling for her she raised her voice. "I'm out here!" she called. Touched the base of one of the plants that was looking a bit yellowed. That wasn't good. She looked up and smiled as Gale joined her. "How did it go?" she asked. "And do you mind helping me up?" she said, holding out her hands.

Gale followed the sweet sound of her voice floating through the air, finding her through garden. "I don't know if I want to just yet, you look so beautiful amongst the flowers that are also blooming." He teased her a bit before taking her by the hands and lifting Araima back onto her feet.
He looked at her up and down rather fondly. Over time, he found something very special about her pregnant figure that caused him to do that every so often. Her smiling so gently only amplified those feelings. "It went okay, I don't know if I'm good for this carpenter stuff."

Araima smiled. "I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. And if you can't there are many thing out there left to try." she tried to be encouraging. Most thing were done with magic here, but there were a few who liked to do things the old-fashioned way. She leaned toward him to kiss him on the cheek. "How about we go inside and I'll make you something to eat? I'm sure you'd love to get off your feet." she said, guiding him back into the house.

Gale smiled, wondering why should even try being depressed. Araima had a natural born gift of positivity that showered over him. He followed her, a arm around her waist, the other held her right hand.
"Thanks, honey. Are you sure that won't be a problem for you?" He asked, Gale tried his best not to limit her because she was pregnant but it happened from time to time. "Sure you're not going to fall asleep in the middle of it?"

Araima pouted. "That was once... ur... twice. I know I over did it, but I promised to take it easy, didn't I?" she replied. "I'm not push my limits or anything else difficult. You can ask mother." she added Walking to the kitchen she started to pull out some ingredient. "Would you mind pulling out the pan for me?"

Gale release the hold he had on her. "It's happened enough for me to remember it. It's cute the way you nod off while we chat." He lifted the pan from out of a lower drawer and placed it on the stove for Araima. "But I believe you, Raima. You're greatly less fragile than I make you out to be at times. I have to stop doing that."

Araima shook her head and began to chop the vegetables. "No. I don't mind when you tease me. And I know you are looking out for it." she said. "It's sweet." she said with a chuckle. The flinched rubbing her side. "And once again in the ribs. That spot is getting sore."

"If you really think so, then I'll try to at least not do it as often." He replied, he sat down on a nearby chair and watched her prepare. Upon hearing her mention another kick going straight for the ribs, he thought to at least give her something to look forward to.
"I'll tell you what, once we get home, I'll treat you like the goddess you deserve to be. I'll pamper you the rest of the evening."

Araima grinned, pulling out the meat to chop up. She tossed the veggies in the pan and snapped her fingers to get the stove working. "That sounds heavenly. I can't wait." she answered. She continued to prepared the food as she asked another question. "So what exactly did you work on thins time?"

"Repairing a wall to someone's house. I never knew how much manual labor required something like that until now." Answered Gale, thankfully he had the help of her brothers to show him the ropes of things. He watched her snap her fingers to light the stove. "Sure you don't want to do magic tricks for the human kids?"

Araima laughed "Maybe when their parents aren't watching that closely. And I'll be using the saying you taught me.... What was it?" she said "Secrets are never revealed by magicians." She tossed the meat into the pan with the other and let that cook. "You'll be getting quite strong from all that work, I imagine."
