Emery couldn't help but chuckle as he complained about her. "Has she dragged you to an amusement park too?" She asked with playful eyes. "It sounds like she's a good friend." Emery commented, already getting used to the way Ren treated his friends. Emery ate a fry, smiling happily as she did so. The food tasted better with actual company there with her, and Emery was very grateful for him being there. "I had a good day," she said, attempting to sound casual as she did so. She shoved another fry in her mouth, letting another smile slip.

Jyccly I'll make pudding a character tomorrow. If I make her now she'll probably end up really weird because I am sleepy D: Potatoes of all forms are amazing <3 I make the best potato wedges ever, by the way~

Emery noticed Ren avoiding her gaze, adding the same tension from the Ferris Wheel back into the conversation. She blushed and continued to avoid his gaze as well as she slowly finished her fries.
Coming to the end of her food, Emery slowly met Ren's gaze again. "Should we stay longer or head back?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. It was starting to get later out, and he had already spent most of the day with her. Emery was certain that he probably wanted to take a nap, due to the spontaneity of her plans.

Emery's eyes widened in surprise at the request. She hadn't expected Ren to want to spend more time with her, let alone invite her to the fireworks. She grinned at him, attempting to meet his gaze despite him avoiding it. "That would be great!" She reassured him. "How long before they start?"

Jyccly I have figured that much out~ I'll try not to have Mimi get in the way too much. She's going to his concert though. I'm stubborn, sorry :p I'm staying awake for forever~

Emery bit the inside of her lip, forcing herself not to spit out something about how she can walk herself. It was obvious that Ren was only offering to be nice, not because he thought she was incapable. "Thanks." She told him, grateful nonetheless.
Emery stood up from her spot on the bench and stretched her legs slightly before turning back to Ren. "We should probably get going to wherever the fireworks are going to be." She said, since he knew where to go for them and she did not. Her face warmed as she held her hand out, offering for him to take it and lead the way.

Emery smiled to herself as Ren led the way to the fireworks. As they walked, Emery pulled out her phone. She snapped a quick picture of the park around her and sent it to Lila. She reminded herself yet again to bring Lila here in the future, whenever the opportunity became available.She offered Ren no explanation for the picture and instead put her phone back in her pocket. "Do you have my number?" She asked Ren, not remembering if she had given it to him.
