" W-w-wow, an unexpected victory for the yellowbloods! I wouldn't want to be you guys right now, ahahahaha. And and um, miss Vremea Everai, congratulations as well! We regret to say that there will be no third place medal distributed to the teams, as no troll in any other blood colour completed the hunt. Better luck next year?" FIRST PLACE Vremea Everai
SECOND PLACE Minist Outill
THIRD PLACE Odette Cygnet All prizes will be distributed at the closing ceremonies, please remember to come pick them up! The rankings for the teams on the first page have been updated.

The rules are simple enough, explains the bored-looking drone standing on the podium. Any sea creature caught during the event by your troll is a valid entry. You can use the harpoons and fishing rods generously supplied by her majesty, or your own tools. Every hour you can bring up to two of your catches to the contest booth, and the contestant with the largest weight in catches by the end is declared the winner. OOC rulesYou can 'catch' five sea creatures per day. Each time you do, post below in this thread generating a random number between 1 and 10. The higher the number, the larger and heavier the creature that you hauled up is. They can range from fish to deep squid to goaticorns. You can only submit two of your catches per day, using the form below. Remember to submit your heaviest/largest catches! Each new day will be announced by the mule on this thread, so please wait for the post before you start a new day of catching. The troll who's total weight in submitted creatures is the highest wins. Odette decided to try her hand fishing with the rod. She had the patience, after all. "Here fishie fishie..." she muttered wishfully.

Ooh that was a pretty good catch! Odette tossed in her line again, hoping for something even better this time.

The harpoon was sharp.. But... The fishing rod seemed better. What did Maihue know, anyway? She grabbed one, threw the line in the water, and stared into the water with a blank face.

Oh, boy. Fishing. Looking over the various assortment of poles to high tech weaponry, Talymn was overall still uncertain about the whole thing- that was until he found this giant cannon looking device with tripod attachments, laser sights, and a quad-stock barrel fully loaded with five-foot long harpoons.
Hey, might as well give it a test run, right~?

Hunting? This was not hunting. Hunting involved skills such as tracking and stealth. This was just, "Oh look, a swimmybeast." *tosses sharp thing in its general direction*. At least games of chance sort of evened out the playing feild? Taquin sighed and picked up a few harpoons with which to catch his prey. He was more adept with rod-like instruments, and he was better at stalking the fish than waiting around for something to bite.

No wonder his catch was so puny, Taq wasn't even trying. Other trolls were starting to really get into the little game. Better pay attention now. Aim for those larger shadows...

Struggling to reel in his latest catch, he nearly lost his grip on the struggling mass of teeth and tentacles of a squidshark at hearing the excited voice of victory from across the way. "Mother o' Cod, wot kinda monster did you wrangle up there, Mai?!"

Wow, Odette didn't even know she was strong enough to reel in that goaticorn! She was filled to the brim with pride, but as she looked around, she spotted another troll reeling in an even bigger one! Odette felt a small sense of competitiveness... She only wanted to do the best for her team.

Okay what was that greenblood's secret? She must have a great spot, Odette thought, shuffling closer and closer to where she was fishing.
