Kin glanced back at Aura. She had an off look about her, mostly the eyes which didn't seem to agree with the rest of her face on the matter of what expression to depict. He looked over her shoulder at the guys who were chasing them and let out a sigh of relief as Glass took them out, hopefully without killing them. They reached the forest and he stopped when he heard Namihana call down to them from the trees. He smiled weakly up at her and gave her a shakey thumbs up, not noticing the wound on her back from where he was standing. He glanced back at the carnage one last time and visibly cringed at the sight of it, before tightening his grasp on Aura's hand and running deeper into the forest. Suddenly Aura asked about Royce and pulled away from him.
He's fine, he's the one slaughtering them! we have to get out of here"
he wrote out, no longer trusting Royce at all after he so carelessly killed so many people, demons or no. When she said they had to go back he shook his head and held the same message up again, as if repeating himself. When she said she wouldn't forgive him if he tried to stop her he looked shocked, and saddened that she would go so far as to say that. He averted his gaze the ground, but took a deep breath and stared at her. Whether she hated him for it or not, he knew that she would most definitely get hurt if she tried to fight, and he was going to protect her whether she wanted him to or not. However as she pulled out the axe he eyes suddenly changed color and she actually swung it at him! He just barely managed to duck down under the swing in time, narrowly avoiding decapitation. He looked up at her as if to say "what the hell?" but she was ranting maniacally in a voice that wasn't hers. This frightened the young deerkin immensely. All of his friends were turning into killers before his eyes, and now one of them was even gunning for him. When she seemed to return to normal Kin quickly grabbed the axe and threw it away as far as he could. When she started talking to him as if nothing bad had happened he took a few steps away from her, eyes wide with confusion and fear. He had no idea what was going on anymore.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana grimaced as she dropped down from the tree, her arm rearing back before it drove into the demon's face just behind Aura as the gray skinned earth demon popped out of the ground. The demon slammed hard into a demon about to drive a broadsword into the back of Royce's head, sending the broadsword clattering aside as both demons went down in a heap. She grunted as she landed, feeling the wound burning as she stood slowly a couple of feet behind Aura, her back to Kin. "Damned demons... most of the ones here don't seem too smart, but in numbers like this, they're dangerous even though they're stupid enough to not pay attention to their surroundings," she said with disgust. Her eyes widened as she saw Shi with his arms crossed in front of his face. She recognized the technique he was charging up and darted forward, vanishing in a swirl of sakura blossoms after a few rapid steps. She quickly grabbed both Caligon and Royce and darted back, knowing to Kin, Caligon, and Royce, it would seem they'd simply vanished and reappeared at the treeline. "Get back and get down!!" she shouted, shoving both Royce and Caligon towards the other three. Shi snapped his arms outward with an insane cackle as a concussive shockwave of air detonated outward, turning the demons within three yards of him into bloody chunks in a spray of red mist, while those within eight yards suffered heavily debilitating injuries while those between twelve and fifteen yards suffered deep slashes and cuts. (Namihana will explain about Shikori's... split personality problem and their father in the next post... and it isn't going to be pretty.)

Kin smiled a bit as Namihanna dropped down by them, knocking a demon away in the process. She may have been a killer to, but atleast she hadn't tried to kill HIM, so he felt alot safer with her nearby. His eyes went wide when noticed the wound on her back and he rushed over to her and placed a hand on her uncut shoulder. He quickly pulled out his notepad and scribbled down a few words.
"you hurt, we need to get out of here, all of us"
it read, but even though he said that he couldn't help but glance over his shoulder at Aura, still afraid of what she might try to do to him. However when he looked back at Namihana she was gone! Nothing but flowers left in her wake. Once again he was alone with Aura and Glass. Immediately he ran over to Glass and hid behind her, timidly glancing over at Aura. Suddenly Namihana shouted for them to get down and he put his hands up and slid them down as he dropped to the ground, quickly conjuring a wall infront of himself and Glass that would protect them from the shockwave.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana grunted when the concussive blast of air shoved her back hard against the tree. She cursed under her breath when the back of her head rebounded against the tree with a crack before she spat out a mouthful of blood where she'd bitten her tongue. "Damn it," she snarled, her normally alto-soprano voice holding a distinct bass growl at the edges. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Glass slowed down to a trot. The young human girl was starting to act reckless. Although she could see now, that did not mean she could go charging around with a d*mn axe! Glass would have wrenched it away from her grasp if she was in her human form. Sharp rows of large and claws were definitely too dangerous for that.
As she watched Kin try to dissuade her, the air around the girl changed. Glass's ears and tail perked up. It was familiar.. And strangely demonic. As if to prove that, Aura began to swing the axe in a slightly deranged dance. It missed Kin by a hairline. Glass was about to tackle her down, but the foreign aura disappeared. She narrowed her eyes warily at the human and slowly walked closer. Kin was obviously shaken by the experience. What in the world is going on...? It was like there were all getting infected by a sort of violence. Just like in those moving human stories that.
Another presence had dropped by. Namihana. Glass's eyes flickered to the wound on her. As much as she wanted to tear them down, students still needed protecting. First, Kin and Aura would have to be brought somewhere safe. One that was done, Glass could jump back into the bloody fight.
Namihana's warning startled her. She was too busy making sure Kin was wrapped safely by her tail to take notice of the sudden attack by Namihana's friend. Luckily, the deerkin erected an invisible wall that stopped the attack in its path. "Kin, get on my back. I'll carry aura by her clothes," Glass urged, bending lowly so that he could clamber onto her. Her voice could only be heard by Kin. To the rest, it would just come off as a bunch of grunts and growls with a few pauses in between.Ѻυτlαℵɗɪsℌlʏ Ѻҍsɪɗɪαℵ ℭrҽαɱ 【】

Kin watched as the shockwave rolled over everyone, but didn't effect either him or glass thanks to his wall. He looked at Glass and hesitantly nodded. However out of the corner of his eye he saw Namihanna get knocked back against a tree and coughed up some blood. Not wanting to leave her behind her ran over to her and threw her arm over his shoulders and carried her over to Glass and helped her up onto the huge wolf as well, before hoping up himself. He grabbed firmly onto Namihana's waist to prevent her from slipping off, and gave Glass a pat on the belly indicating they were ready to go.

|✥| ---- Royce Siegman- ---|✥|-"Anyone who hurts my friends and brings innocents into a quarell are worthless parasites who deserve as much pain as possible."- ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ After a moment, Royce heard a familiar voice: good thing he did, too, because otherwise Calligon would've gotten shot like the first demon. When the neko arrived, he let out the most twisted smile at his comment. "What, and deny these guys a much needed handicap? Just makes things all the more interesting." He was definitely far gone now, his eyes showing a much less human side of him. When Nami shoved him and Calli behind a couple of trees, he wanted to object at first but realised this wasn't a normal fight... good thing he listened, too. A blast dispersed a massive area of demons and Royce was coughing from the dust it kicked up. As he stood, the moonlight began to shine much brighter tha before: the clouds above had shifted and gave the world a view of the battleground. As Royce came out from his hiding place, the moon shone through the trees, more demons dropping from the sky. He took a stand out in the open, the moonlight beating down on him like a spotlight: with axe and knife in hand, and his facial features covered by his blood and sweat-drenched hair, he stared down the now massive group. Everyone could see him, even Aura. The demons all looked very pissed off and ready to fight to the death like those before them, but Royce had the same determination in his eyes. "... do you know why this started?" His voice was low, but he knew from what he knew from his friends that they could all hear him. "You threatened my friends. And to me, my friends are my family." His voice slowly rose a little as he continued, taking a few steps towards the group. "And my friends are the closest thing to family that I Have left. And if you threaten my family then I'll show you how much I APPRECIATE IT!!!" His voice boom enough for everyone watching and participating to hear with ease, its cold chill running down the spines of all who heard it. If death could be represented in sound, his voice would be reminiscent of such a thing. Whoever this person was, it wasn't Royce in any way, shape or form... at least not the smiling, happy one from earlier today. He turned to Aura, a face of anguish as soon as he locked eyes with her: that one single moment that only she would notice, the true Royce came through, right before another demon came at him from behind...
... His axe swung up and gashed the childs stomach deeply, his blood pouring out like a torrent. Royce threw the body away and aimed at another with his knife, letting loose another shot. As the rest of the demons started to swarm, Royce began running like a madman towards them, a primal scream escaping his lungs like a wild beast. He was charged by three at once, the first he stabbed repeatedly in the chest, deflecting the swords as he did so and followed by embedding the spike into ones skull, the other recieving a similar treatment as the first but under the chin. He then used the body as a shield to prevent an axe from connecting with him and landed his own in his neck. This treatment continued on as the demons swarmed, the bystanders unable to believe what they were whitnessing; staff, demon and angel alike. He was using every ounce of his muscle mass and concerntration to disperse these attackers and was doing a damned good job of it. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ -"And when they're willing to openly hurt them without remorse, they deserve a shallow, diseased grave. That's how I was raised, and that's what I stand by to this day."- |- Out Of Comission: -|

When Kin took a few steps back from Aura while looking afraid and confused, her reaction genuinely reflected his confusion as to why he looked afraid of her. "What's wrong..?"
Kin seemed to be afraid of her and she pondered if that was even possible or what she could have done to make him fear her. Her suspicion was confirmed when he hid behind the dire wolf.
It was then that she heard someone get down, but before she could turn to see what was going on or if it was directed at her, she suddenly felt a lot of cuts and bruises on her, luckily she was far enough away that the cuts and bruises only looked bad but were more or less minor.
Aura was in more disbelief that her new friend was now clearly afraid of her. And even glanced over to keep looking at her, watching to see what she would do.
It was then that Aura turned away and looked back out to the area that Royce and a few others had ducked out of the way. Aura's stance clearly showed that she was in a bit of shock from Kin's reaction towards her. But when she saw Royce, she found she couldn't take her new eyes off of him. Aura instinctively moved closer so now she was a few feet on the other side of Kin and the dire wolf, just in time to hear Royce's words about his friends being threatened and that friends were family.
Aura could not take her eyes off of him despite the cool chill she felt from his voice when yelling at the demons. Perhaps it was because she was staring at him so intensely, he turned towards her and their eyes met for a moment. Aura held her breath for that moment. "That isn't the same person I talked to earlier.." Her words were under her breath, more of a mental note but it was clearly loud enough for Kin and Glass to hear. "No, definitely not.." She couldn't take her eyes off of him and despite the blood and gore, she didn't want to. She was completely mesmerized by who she was watching.

٭٭٭٭٭₪₪₪↑↑↑↓↓↓∆∆→→→Eumi Isunden Dreldan←←←∆∆The gunshot had drawn almost everyone able to make in on the island. The moment Eumi had heard it after most of her friends had run off at the sight of some flash in the forest, she and the angelic secretary that had stayed behind jumped in shock. Eumi didn't like the woman, but at that very moment she was grateful for her. The two ladies shared a glance, and both her violet-red eyes and the angel's pure ones were locked in agreement. A pair of black, clawed bat wings whisked through the slits in Eumi's shirt, and the white feathered ones pressed to the angel's back flashed out. Both of them leaped into the air without a second of hesitation. The air was thick with moving air. Hoards of winged folk were already all making their way to the scene. Eumi grimaced as she concentrated on keeping herself aligned with the wind, but too many wingbeats were in the air, stirring it. Her flying pattern staggered, and unfortunately, Eumi got in the way of another demonic student. His wings grappeled with hers for a moment, battling for a wind source. "Out of the way!" He howled, backhanding her roughly. Eumi yelped as she started to fall, but a soft hand suddenly appeared and snatched her before she reached the forest top. "Are you alright, Miss Dreldan?" The secretary grunted, hefting Eumi up and tossing her forward into a good gust of wind that Eumi's wings could catch. "I'm fine!" Eumi snapped, flustered over being rescued by the woman. The angel's face suddenly froze, staring ahead, behind Eumi. "Oh, lord..." Curious, Eumi turned, seeing the pit of carnage in a clearing of trees. In a split second, Eumi's wings stopped beating, and she started to fall. The angel thrust forward and grabbed Eumi under the arms. "Get a hold of yourself!" The angel yelped, but Eumi couldnt hear. The demoness raised her hands to her face, her fingers spread out over her face to shield her eyes from the death, and she screamed in something like agony. The shockwave pounded aginst them from in the sky. Winged folk were dropping like flies, gunshots ringing out in the night. The panic was all too much, and the angel carrying Eumi lost her grip. "Miss Dreldan!" She cried. Eumi hollowly spread her wings, stopping in mid air as she quickly beat them. A gunshot took out a demon next to her who was swooping down. She shook and dropped her hands to stare down at the person who was leading this killing spree. At first, she only saw a raging figure covered in blood, but after a second, she realised it was Royce. The shock drove her into a dive, head firt down into the carange. Tears whipped in the wind to her ears, as she rocketed towards Royce. "Royce, you b*****d!" She howled. He was aiming at another student, fallen just before him. She snapped her finger, semi conciously, and landed like lightning in between Royce and the student. A bullet raced forward, but clanged against metal and whizzed away, chipping against a bladed chakram that had just appeared in Eumi's hand, with the smell of faint ozone that was quickly erased by the overwhelmng stench of blood. Eumi glared at Royce shakily, tears streming out of her eyes like rivers. "Stop it. That's enough..." she hissed hoarsely.

Caligon Ryzer-Neko Caligon had been searing people left and right before Namihana knocked him down. He whistled when he saw the devastation it caused, impressed that something could do such a huge amount of damage. He was in the middle of pulling two nekos off of him before he heard Royce speak. As the fighting commenced once more, he noticed that there were too many demons flying around. "So... Even people from the Demon Plain want to test this human..." All the fighting ended when Eumi yelled and landed in front of Royce. The demons wanted to advance but stopped when they noticed Caligon chanting with an open palm raised to the sky. "Ignatius, Mehu, Inter!" A bubble of fire surrounded Royce, Eumi, Caligon, and his friends. "This barrier is solid from the inside and rather hot on the outside. I think it's time everyone calmed down." Caligon said it rather low as he walked toward Eumi with a sad look in his eyes. "To think I gave in to instinct and didn't end this sooner... Sorry." He put his hand on her head affectionately, and turned to Royce. "I won't let you do this to yourself. Everyone is downright enraged out there. If this keeps up, Generals will start flying in. You can't handle keeping this up." His look was sincere as Caligon stared directly into Royce's eyes. "This is enough bloodshed. There's no need to start a war over something so petty."

٭٭٭٭٭₪₪₪↑↑↑↓↓↓∆∆→→→Eumi Isunden Dreldan←←←∆∆Light seared Eumi's eyes upon the ominous chanting coming from Caligon. He'd been there as well. he'd been fighting. Killing. Contributing to this nightmare. Her throat went completely dry and she choked in bitter helplessness. However, the cries of battle were stiffeled once the light came. She shielded her eyes with one free hand while still holding the chakram between her and Royce. She blinked between her fingers until it was bearable to see. When she did, she gaped at the walls of fre surrounding her and her... friends, if they could be called that. She looked around, finding Royce, Caligon, Glass, Aura, Kin, Shikori and Namahina soaked or splattered in blood. In her episode, Eumi did not realise that Caligon had approached her util she felt his warm hand covering her head. She turned her head slowly to him, and the tears overflowed. She ducked her head out of sight and slapped his hand away. "Shut up! How could you! This wasn't just a normal brawl! Some of those people are dead!" She pointed at the translucent wall of rippling flames that Calligon had created. Through it they could see bodies and heavily wounded, and still more people ready to fight to death once that barrier came down. Her shoulders shook, and then she tipped her head back and rushed forward. She slammed her hands into Royce, knocking him back in a shove. "They should have NEVER let you humans join us! You're all just monsters!" She yelled, completely focused on Royce, not thinking about her words. This was the side that Eumi hated of herself. This was when she lost control and dug herself too deep. She bit her lip, trying to stop her useless tears.

Kin watched in horror as Royce's voice echoed over the area. The boy shivered and clung tightly to Namihana and Glass. He said he was doing this to protect his friends, but this was way more than that. This was just sinister. and the fact that he was using all of them to justify what he was doing was despicable. The deerkin looked away, unable to watch as Royce continued to slaughter people. He overheard Aura say he wasn't the same person, and had to agree fully. However he noticed that her eyes were transfixed on him, as if mesmerized by him. It kind of made Kin sick to think of it, but Aura had allready proved to be unstable just like Royce when she attacked him, so he couldn't say he was all that surprised. The boy looked up at the sky and watched as Eumi flew in and started shouting for Royce to stop this senseless bloodshed, her words pretty much mirroring his thoughts exactly. He patted Glasses' stomach again, wanting to just get out of there as quickly as possible, but suddenly Caligon summoned up a huge dome of fire around them. While he may have saw it as protecting them from the attackers, Kin saw it as being locked inside with a bunch of lunatics he used to think he knew and trusted. Worst of all being Royce and Aura, which was particularly devastating. When Eumi rushed at Royce screaming that they should never have let humans join Kin cast his eyes down and his ears laid flat against his head. Despite being a deerkin Kin had grown up in the human world, raised to think he was human, and at heart was just as human as Royce and Aura, maybe even more seeing how demonic they were both acting, so it really hit him deep to hear her say that.

|✥| ---- Royce SiegmanJohnathen- ---|✥|-"Anyone who hurts my friends and brings innocents into a quarell are worthless parasites who deserve as much pain as possible."- ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ There was a sickly smile on the boys face as he continued his onslaught, taking down demon after demon with next to no trouble at all. This child was having the time of his life, loving every second of what was happening around him. He was about to shoot down another demon when he heard a voice screaming at him from above. He was irritated by the nuisence, since she now prevented another kill, but he didn't dare strike the girl when she appeared before him. Her tears did nothing to stop him from feeling the glorious blood-lust that shot through him, instead, he just stared her down deviously, waiting to she what she did next. The image eventually burned into his skull as he sat there. It was all he could do since Calligon had sealed off the area from the demons, with a wall of flames no less. Calligons words left an imprint in his mentallity, though even -his- voice became annoying. He looked at his arm as the axe eventually dropped: the tendons were seperated and his arm went completely limp... funny, he never even felt the pain. Not even now. When Calligon started talking to him, his eyes were definitely not normal: his pupils were almost completely dialated and lacked any kind of emotion other than pain. Again, he didn't speak. Before too long, Eumi made her move on the boy, shoving him back violently and almost toppling him over. When she finished speaking he stayed silent for a moment. "I'm sorry..." His voice was very low and cold, completely mismatched for an apology. "... but what makes you think I'm Royce?" He looked up at the pair as they stood together, a dark smirk pulling the side of his mouth. "And what on earth makes you think I'm... normal? Haven't you heard: under normal circumstances, we're insects in comparison to you. We know it from the legends foretold to us by those stupid preachers of god... of course, most of it's diluted with more s**t than you can make out." He started slowly walking towards the pair, his arm swaying as he walked. There was no sign of pain in is voice nor lack of vigor or energy. "And just so you know: yes, I am an inhuman monster. Better than being some panzy with the likes of Royce and Sage, not wanting to kill anyone... though I do admit that Royce is at the least prepared to do it if one hundred percent neccesary." He leaned himself down to Eumi, a sick smile adorning his face. "Me, however... I get off on it-" Before he could finish, Damien grabbed his head and a bassy boom came from his hand, the red-head collapsing. "... unbelievable. A student coup ending with the target massacring them all." Armoured staff members began appearing around them, carrying shields and shotguns with rubber rounds to suppress the rowdy demons. "Tara, get the boy to the infirmary." The secretary came down from above, grabbing the now unconcious boy and preparing to dissapear. "Yes sir. Shackles?" "No, but take him to the locked room, just to be safe." She nodded and, like always, simply vanished. As the security detail moved in on the remaining squabble of students, Damien looked at the group before him. "Go home and activate the red buttons on your doors: the entire house will lock down and no-one can get in or out until you press it again, not even via teleport of any kind... especially you, Aura." Damien turned to her and examined her body: the damage didn't look serious. "It's the closest to this place and I can't risk you going to Kins, even with a 20 man armed security detail." He stopped for a moment, thinking about the situation. "On second thought, all of you go there. Proper arrangements will have been made to accommodate you all by the time you arrive... though you two." Damien then looked at Nami and Shikori, concerned for their physical safety too. "Would you like to head to the infirmary? You look pretty beat up." ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ -"And when they're willing to openly hurt them without remorse, they deserve a shallow, diseased grave. Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana panted, pushing herself off the tree. Her gaze flicked to Shikori, who had several deep gashes on his arms, right cheek, and upper abdomen. Shi opened his mouth when he saw Namihana dart forward before he felt a searing surge of electricity pulse through his body, sending him to the ground, twitching. She saw him about to open his mouth and rapidly flicked through several hand movements before darting at him, slamming the heel of her palm to the base of his skull (Ranshinshō). He fell, twitching. She tapped a nerve just behind the jugular vein that made him go limp, unconscious. "I'll drag his sorry a** there... though it seems that Royce and Shikori have a lot more in common than I expected," she said, hefting her brother onto her shoulder in a fireman's carry.

His pupils were impossibly large, taking over most of his eyes. They were stone cold pits of black blood lust and pain. He was quiet, seeming to mull this situation over with the speed of a slug. "I'm sorry..." The apology sent a chill down Eumi's spine. Her hands trembled, her grip shaking the steady hold on her chakram. "... but what makes you think I'm Royce?" A dark smirk mocked both Eumi and Calligon, one that made her want to vomit. "And what on earth makes you think I'm... normal? Haven't you heard: under normal circumstances, we're insects in comparison to you. We know it from the legends foretold to us by those stupid preachers of god... of course, most of it's diluted with more s**t than you can make out."Eumi's stomach flip flopped, and when he started walking towards them her heart beat trippled with every step. Eumi's face paled to a stark white. "Me, however... I get off on it-"As he was finishing two things happened at once. Eumi lost control of her legs, and Damien appeared. Royce and Eumi fell almost as one, the demoness landing joltingly on her knees in shock, and the human collapsing face first onto the ground. The boom rang in Eumi's ears, making her deaf to whatever the headmastr was saying. She sat there quietly, staring at Ryce's unconcious body for a while until the secretary bent over him and disappeared, carrying him away with her. "Go home and activate the red buttons on your doors: the entire house will lock down and no-one can get in or out until you press it again, not even via teleport of any kind..." Damien demmanded the students. The barrier had fallen, and no student was up to facing off with the pincipal and his experienced fighting staff. "On second thought, all of you go there. Proper arrangements will have been made to accommodate you all by the time you arrive..." Eumi wasn't concerned with any of this nonsense. Her mind was still frozen in shock. It took all she could just to listen to half of what Damien was saying. She couldn't summon the energy to react. She just sat still on the forest floor as students were escorted back out of the clearing to their homes, her eyes dialated almost as wide and empty as Royce's had been.
