"It should be." Neil said as she let her sentence trail off. He was sure that this case was going to last a little while, but he doubted that it will last over a month. He slowly loosen his arms around him as his mind began to get pulled back to the case. He asked "When was the last time you saw the victims?" He couldn't quite remember their names.

"It was before I left my brother," Jasmine said. "I haven't seen them since I left." Her mind wasn't focusing on the case. "How am I gonna tell my mom? I have to tell her but this isn't what she wants for me. She wants me married first. Oh she's gonna kill me."

"Then tell her you are getting married in a couple of months." Neil said to her. His mind was thinking about the case, but it was getting pulled towards her. He wasn't sure how she would respond to what he said, it wasn't the way he was thinking of doing it but few things go as planned.

Neil slowly let go of her and walked into a different room, and returned a moment or two later. He walked back over to Jasmine and handed her what he went to get. It was a small black box, inside was the ring that he looked for. It was something that he knew she would like.

Jasmine felt her face turn red. She was completely speechless for once. She didn't know what to say.

Neil couldn't help the smile on his face, it was the first time that he knew that she was speechless. Her face turning red was something else he didn't see that often. He didn't say anything, he was waiting on her to break the silence.

Neil's smile was still there as he said "Open it up and see." He both hoped that she would like it, and knew that she would. He knew what she liked and he picked the ring keeping them in mind.

Jasmine did as he said and couldn't help but gasp. "It's beautiful Neil," she said softly then looked at him.

Neil dipped his head slightly, before looking at her. He was glad that she liked it, but she had yet to actually give him an answer. The smile on his face remained as he waited for her to answer his unasked question.

Neil knew that she wouldn't, but he wanted her to take in the ring. He slowly opened his mouth and asked "Will you marry me Jasmine?" He believed he knew what her answer would be, but she wanted him to ask the question.

Neil slowly pulled the ring out of the box and slowly placed it onto her finger. The smile that had been on his face grew when she said yes. He knew that they should get back to the case, but he was completely focused on her.
