Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango took the food from Miroku and slowly started to eat her food, watching silently as he went around to the others. Although when he returned she put her back to him and finished her food before putting the bowl on the ground. Sango leaned against Kirara and listened to what Miroku had to say but didn't offer him with a response. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and rested her arms in her lap so that she could give them a rest. Her exhaustion hitting her like a brick wall as she slowly let her eyes drift shut. Instinctively but unaware of her actions as she slept Sango turned and rested her head on Miroku's chest as she drifted into a deeper sleep.

Tsuki shook the toad again before dropping him to the ground. With her height and his shortlegs, it made for a good 5 foot drop. Immediately, she lay flat on her belly and pinned his legs under one of her forepaws. She made sure to drop him away from the staff he'd been carrying. She looked at Koto, Rin, and the pup. Jaken had called for Rin. Tsuki was waiting to see if the girl would speak on the toad's behalf.

Rusty cut off about a third of the meat that was left. Anyone who wanted more could use that. He sectioned out the rest and took it to the other side of the camp. He would find a spot with a downhill tilt. Then he'd start pulling water from the meat with his elemental control and releasing it at the top of the tilt, so it would run away from the camp. He continued this for about an hour, drying out the meat while sectioning it into small-medium strips.

Kagome Higurashi

Kagome looked at the Shadow Inuyasha who seemed lost in thought and then returned her gaze ahead. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and followed in complete silence, subconsciously brushing her thumb over the back of her opposite hand. All Kagome wanted to do was get back to Inuyasha and then return to his world, she couldn't stand being away from him like this. Especially with this fake Inuyasha here reminding her every time that she looked at him that she wasn't with Inuyasha; instead she was a prisoner.

TOUGA
Inuyasha ~ Koto: (Rescue Party)
Touga let out a sound of utter tired frustration when Koto held onto him so tightly that he couldn't move. He wasn't going to leave the camp or anything just find a tree or something to climb up into and get away from the meaty smells both cooked and dead. "You mustn't atagonize your wounds pup. Remain still." The pup let out a growl of annoyance, "I just got a bite on my arm! I don't see my legs broken, I'm not hungry i just want to be Alone!" His stomach growled again to give him that lie, growing more frustrated he tried to use his magic to make Koto let him the heck go, but the moment he reached out to use any of his magic...His head abruptly spun, as invisible needles, hundreds of them pricked his mind. His vision swam as he suddenly felt nauseated as if he had just been kicked by a horse. He had stopped struggling and for a long moment just tried to not move at all to stop the spinning...that has never happened to him before...

Part of the reason is because of the traces of shadow venom that got used on him from Koto before when he was still a demon. The other part is because he used far more magic in ways that are beyond his current knowledge and training in the talent. The pup didn't respond to Inuyasha as he got plucked out of Koto's arms and moved closer to the fire, in fact he wasn't even aware of the movement until the felt the heat of the flames in front of him, he blinked open his eyes and and looked to the older hanyou, "Don't move kid. You need to eat." He watched dully as Inuyasha pulled over a bag and starting digging into it to cook up something. The pup blinked again, Inuyasha is not wearing his outer robe, but his red hakama, and his kosode with the obi tied at the waist. And that wasn't the only thing, that necklace of prayer beads is also missing from the the older hanyou. "What happened to your..." he started to ask when he realized that he wore the red fire rat fur hoari over his shoulders like some large coat.

This explains why he smelled Inuyasha's scent on his person. He wasn't sure if he really needed it and all so he started to pull the robe off hesitantly. As he did this his hand came across the rosary around his own neck...Blinking he stopped the process of removing the fire rat robe and stared down at the rosary around his own neck. Why was this here? He assumed that the robe was around him to keep him warm but why wear the rosary as well? "W-why am I...?" he started and for a moment tried to pull the necklace off but the moment he tried it is as if the thing became infinity heavy and rejected his efforts to remove it. Inuyasha had set down a bowl of steaming water and noodles in front of him, "Focus on the smell of the Ramen. It will drown out everything else." What the heck is 'Ramen'? The pup still fitfully tugged on the rosary that just simple refused to be moved.

As both he and his sister approached their brother and the girl, Inuyasha stiffened as he would have been able to detect their presence before they showed themselves, he turned to face them as they came into view and started asking questions. "The plans have been altered due to ever changing circumstances, however the general idea is still the same. You may say that the game has hit a boring point. The fools who are after this human are so bedraggled that it wouldn't be much fun to take them out now. So, we thought this would be better to pass the time to allow those weaklings some time to regain their strength." He arched a brow at the disapproving reproof from the half-breed. This one always took his jobs seriously to the point of an obsession, really he should relax and take some time off. After all they aren't going to kill the wench just...play with her for a while.

The moment that he had led Kagome outside, out of the mountain. He started to consider which path to take for the best sort of game when abruptly he stiffened, instinctively holding out a hand to stop the woman from going any further as he sensed the approaching presences of other shades like himself, tense he picked up the scents of his master and of the fallen angel woman...no...no not the real thing. Slowly turning on the spot he spotted the pair coming out of the shadows into view. Sayu sauntering and Tailos flowing in a lordly grace towards them. "Brother, so nice of you to keep the human healthy. Perhaps a little game?" Sayu spoke, her eyes glinting dangerously. Game? His golden eyes narrowed with suspicion. "What are the pair of you doing here? Has there been a change in plans...?" He wanted to know, when last he heard from any of his kin, there was to be an obstacle course for Inuyasha and his group to come for Kagome. "What has happened?" It is Tailos who answered him, and when he did, his eyes narrowed even more. "Game? Are you two telling me you abandoned your posts to come play cat and mouse with the girl?" He demanded stiffly. He takes his duty very seriously.

Fake Sayu snorted at the human in humor. She waved her hand idly. "You needn't worry so much human. Right at this moment, you should worry more about yourself than your filthy half breed and humans." Her eyes glittered maliciously as she took a step toward her, flexing her claws. Her gaze lingered on her brother. "Certainly not abandoning our duties. They have yet to reach the castle and so it matters not. They still yet need to reach the flaming lake. They have a human priestess with their group that has been... a nuisance. She will be taken care of there." It was very hard for a shadow to admit to their weakness and they would never outright admit it. Especially since a miko was currently standing before them. It was a good thing the girl was untrained.




Koto opened his eyes as he felt the shift. They had slept some. The humans would be mostly healed by then.Enough time would have past that their energy would have returned. Shifting out from under Rin, he gazed softly at her. Turning to looked toward Jaken, his eyes narrowed thoughtfully. The imp was a fool. He would need to inform Rin soon that her curse had been changed so that it would apply to any male she loved. It would not stay strictly with Sesshomaru now. He began to slowly pack up, catching sight of Inuyasha nearby watching him. He was sitting against a tree, Touga crashed beside him. Odd. He didn't remember when that had happened. He still had some injuries but they would be healed soon. They would rest and relax for this day but first they would move to another spot so as they weren't surrounded by death.









Inuyasha's eyes opened as he heard Koto moving around. He could feel that it was somewhat daytime here. He found himself going to the rest of his pack. How were they doing. Glancing to Touga, he watched the kid. After some time, the kid seemed to have fallen asleep. His hand reached out and gently touched the subjugation beads. He missed them around his neck. Maybe Kagome would be able to make some more for him. In the next instant, he mentally scoffed. As if he really needed another necklace. Now the wench wouldn't be able to stop him from protecting her. Glancing over at Koto, he watched the fox clean up. Standing, he reached up into the tree where he had placed Stian the night before when the kit had collapsed after eating so much. Taking the cat down gently so as to not wake him, he settled him on the ground. Turning, he began to collect Kagome's belongings, pausing to inspect his pack members briefly. Finally he stopped at Kouga. "Hey flea bag, get up."

TOUGA

Whatever answers Touga got if any about the presence of inuyasha's firerat robe or the prayer beads must have been simple, the prayer beads are subjugation beads to keep his yokai under control, when he asked how long he has to wear it no one gave him a strait answer. Touga then tried the ramen and was surprised by the taste in his mouth and was able to eat it all without fuss. After that he slept near someone for the next few hours. Things would be okay now right? Everyone should be well rested and re cooperated and such ready for the next step in the journey...right? Well not everyone is in prime health...unfortunetly.

When Touga came to, due to the bustle about the rest of the camp, he didn't move to get up he just lay there. Inuyasha's firerat robe lay discarded off of the pup rumpled up against his back as if it had been pulled on then pushed off fitfully over the past couple of hours, during the sleep Touga suffered from the case of chills and heat flashes in intervals while the others slept. he didn't complain because he didn't want to be a bother. He did not know why he was coming down with something but he was. He had tugged open his own robes fitfully over the last 20 minutes, hot...he felt so hot and he had no strength. He had been laying there awake for 10 minutes now, his dark hair shadowing his eyes and a lock or so of hair covered his half of his face. His face is flushed and pale at the same time, by the end of the fitful flashes of hot and cold temperatures in his body the temperature had settled into a high fever that is zapping his strength like a wildfire in dried grass. He didn't move or respond to anyone just laid there feeling as though he were about to have a heat stroke soon.

The cause of this is the premature transformation to his yokai and using magic far stronger and far beyond his normal use and control. one could say that he is having a bad allergic reaction to a premature transformation he went through, the reaction was delayed.
