The world is so wonderfully weird at times isn't it? In other news, on Thursday another baby elephant was born at Melbourne Zoo. He's so adorable! xd

My sister used to LOVE elephants. When we were younger she would talk about how she wanted her own elephant as a pet.

My mum does that all the time! She wants a teeny tiny one to keep in the backyard.

*grabby hands at warm weather* I want cat_crying Cold weather and me don't mix. I got sick because of Tuesday. I was stuck at the table all day because none of the officers could make it and we didn't want the new people alone at the table. The other girl that was with me got a sore throat out of it too. But yeah Tuesday it was 8 degrees F with a wind chill of -8.

I'm not a fan of cold weather either. That quite honestly sounds like torture to me. Even today, which was a comfortable 25'C had me shivering.

Highest temperature we've ever had at home was 50'C one summer a few years back. You could fry eggs and bacon on your car bonnet.

It was great fun. Apart from dad walking about in nothing but a pair of shorts. emotion_0A0 That was not fun at all. It was really super hot, but thankfully it was a clean, dry heat, so we were all able to function normally and get things done without the aid of the single fan we have in our house. Just no going outside without an umbrella.
EDIT: Also, if you have the time, do you think you could write up a page on Sekhmet? I've gone to a bunch of good websites to find info on Her, yet what I can't seem to find is good info on offerings and the like. I'd like to say hello but I really want to try and get this right...expect a butt-tonne of questions from me. sweatdrop

Yeah. I can get a page up about Sekhmet. And I don't mind the questions. It gives me an idea of what to post here. I was going to post about Moomas but I think its a bit out of season now.

Cool thanks. smile At the moment I'm mostly interested in preferred offerings and how to present oneself before Her - clothing, bathing and the like.
Also Moomas? At first glance it made me think of Christmas for cows. stressed

Just a little bit of UPG before class, but They prefer freshly showered. The closer to the shower the better. And clothing it seems to depend on "status". Like They call me a child and prefer when I offer things nude when I can. I'll get more for you later.
And you're kinda close. There's some people that call Moomas the Kemetic Christmas. All I remember at the moment is that Moomas is the nickname of a festival for Hathor that falls close to Christmas. More to come after class.
