"He knew you were there though, even if there is no indication we Hikari and feel it. Like when Bakura is outside my door it's this strange cold and creepy feeling, but its familiar and it registers immediately when he's there and when he leaves. He knows you're there.........just keep trying. But not here!" He said quickly, not wanting the Egyptian male to once again be prone on his couch. Malik was his best friend, but that didn't mean he was comfortable with having him passed out alone in his place all day.

Marik felt a little better knowing now that Malik knew he was waiting. However the telling off about doing such a thing in someone elses house was a bit of a retourt.
"But he fell asleep here. I don't know if Malik would like me much if he woke up some where else. You both fell alseep remeber."

"That is true, but then just make sure that you don't randomly fall asleep like that." He would rather the large male pick a spot and just stay there and wait.

Marik mulled that over for a second then smiled.
"Okay."
Getting back on the couch he lay down on his stomach and looked over at Ryou.
"I'm going to try again now."
It wasn't random if he told Ryou. Laying his head in his arms he closed his eyes and waited at Malik's door once more.
Bakura mean while just shook his head at the dark blonde's antics.
"Well 'E for effort' I think is how the saying goes. Right Ryou?"

"Yeah, at least he's out of my way. I need to make dinner, want anything in particular?" He questioned as he grabbed a hairtie and put his long hair up.

Bakura smiled as he was asked about dinner. was it that much of a question?
"Anything meat sounds good to me."
He knew Ryou was a good cook. Part og him wondered how much more his skills had improved.

Of course, Bakura always loved high calorie diets. Then again it probably stemmed from back in Egypt that they needed it for strength, smiling as he began to cook a good meal. He had steak in a pan, potatoes in the oven, and carrots boiling in a pot. A soft tune hummed from him as he worked, smiling happily.

Bakura loved his meat, but it wasn't for the strength factor. In truth it was easier for him to hunt and kill a lizzard than it was to raid the market, and even then Vegitables were very rare. It was mostly fruits and he took them over the bitter vegitables any day of the week. Though Ryou seemed to love them. He seemed to making quite the simple meal as he humed. The tune as well was quite nice.
"Hey Ryou. What's that you humming?"

"It's called Lillium, it sounds sad but if you know the words you'll find it's anything but." He smiled as he added a few simple spices to the boiling carrots, giving them more flavor and finding it was almost ready.

Bakura mused as sat back down on Ryou's bed. sniffing the air he could taste how close everything was to being done. It smelled good.
"So....how have you been...."
He felt a little akward trying to speak what was on his mind. He had spent centuries caring only about himself.

Bakura sighed. That wasn't how he wasnted that to come out. Maybe another way, but it was more wierd to him as emotion wasn't his forte.

Just hearing that made Bakura feel good. But how was he going to get what he wanted to say off his chest? Thinking it over he looked at his options.
Words were failing him at the moment that much was a fact. A yami wasn't really good with these emotions either. How did a Hikari do it? Thinking to himself for a bit he got an idea.
Coming out of the ring he stood next to Ryou. Leaning down a little he brushed his lips against the young man's cheek.

Ryou froze and his face suddenly lit up like a match, the red contrasting sharply with his pale looks. His mind was of course now going a mile a minute, yet he was still unable to think. That is until the carrots boiled over and he quickly took them off the stove, stuttering out. "D-dinner's ready......" If he could think right now then he would have not known what to think.
