Over and over, just like you do.ღ London followed Rose's finger to the oven, squinting to see through the small window. "Yup," he said, twisting back the other way and relaxing in the chair. He started on the blood orange again when she started measuring the cinnamon, until the skin was spiraled up beside the stack of neatly sliced fruit. He picked up another one and went at this one differently; he cut the ends off and then starting to cut the skin off just where it met the orange, as he could see the border now. When that one was finished, the oven dinged to indicate the cake was done. Before Rose could jump up, he swiveled out of the seat and went to the oven, using the cloths that sat folded on top to pull the thing out. I thought I could love no more.
One too many times before.
Now every time I look up to the sky,
I've got you on my mind.

Rose Martin As the oven indicated the cake was done, London was already taking it out of the oven, Rose made sure she was out of the way, so he wouldn't drop it or burn her or himself.
"That looks pretty good. Smells amazing!" Rose exclaimed as she looked at the finished cake.
The was a pile of neatly sliced blood orange, she grabbed it and started putting them on the cake in a spiral, she looked up at London and gave him a handful of blood orange so he could help put them on.
"This is going to look awesome" she said to him and laughed.

Professionally his fingers worked the simple motion with a fluent speed, like they were practiced with setting and alignment. Standing upright after finishing what was in his hands, he picked up the small amount of cinnamon she'd measured, waiting for Rose to move over a little before he sprinkled a loose, fast circle over the blood oranges. Setting the item down, "Uh, is it possible to cut out the upside down part? He did say we didn't have to follow the recipe up there word for word..." I thought I could love no more.

"Haha, I guess that could work" Rose said and laughed.
She moved over slightly when London grabbed a pinch of the cinnamon. She looked at the cake. It was shiny from the blood oranges, it made it look tropical, like one of them cakes you see on TV when people are in Hawaii.
"It looks tropical, doesn't it" Rose finally said to London.(( Sorry for short post :C ))

 Kamil Terrace ________________________Where was Sethrian? Kamil had just gone off to refresh himself by dosing water over his flaking skin. So his hair was dripping wet from the ordeal.
He had been looking around for Sethrian and figured he would be in his last class. So he went to the cooking classroom. "Sethrian!? Are you here! Oh! Hi Renivere! Hi Snyder!" Kamil said as he bounded to them with a grin. "Still cooking?"
Kamil's eyes looked around for the food. "Still cooking?" He repeated, not realizing he already said that. ________________________

Sethrian.Terkynna  After having prepared the wet ingredients, Sethrian set the bowl aside for Renivere. "These are finished, when you're ready for them," he told her. He grabbed his saucepan and brown sugar and began to work on caramelizing it for the bottom of the cake (which would, of course, be the top of the cake at the end. "Ah, Kamil. Yes, we're still working on our assignment. A cake." The boy somehow always seemed to appear just when Sethrian was thinking of him. "I was contemplating finding you to bring you a slice when it's ready. Perhaps you sensed that you would be receiving food soon and came here to save me the trouble of finding you?" Actually, it wouldn't surprise him if Kamil did develop some sort of food related sixth sense...

Kamil Terrace ________________________"A cake! I haven't eaten one yet! My first cake was made by my friends!" Kamil laughed. "I'm excited about this really. Thank goodness I came when you guys were thinking of me."
Renivere came over and attacked Kamil with a towel. "GAH!" Kamil cried out as she ruffled his hair with it. "Aww... Well fine. I'll dry off pretty fast anyways since my skin absorbs water really quickly." Kamil said as he pulled off the towel. He looked like he had been hit with a thunderbolt with the way his hair was sticking up.

Sethrian.Terkynna "I have no idea if that ability would be incredibly useful, or incredibly terrifying," Sethrian said sardonically. "I lean toward the latter, with a few scattered instances of the former." He finished with the brownsugar and poured it into the bottom of their spring form pan. Taking the sliced blood oranges, he arranged them in the sauce before pouring the cake batter over it and smoothing out the mixture with a rubber spatula. He pulled open the oven door and carefully slid the pan to the center of the rack. "It shouldn't take too long to bake," he said, closing the oven. Grabbing a towel to wipe his hands off, he gave Kamil a slightly amused look. "You've been here all this time and you have yet to taste cake? You are slacking off a bit aren't you? Wasn't your goal to try to taste as much surface food as possible while you were here? D'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw Reni being all maternal. OuO Also, Oz--Angela is outside in her tree. I didn't know if you were going to send Tarik or were too busy, or just didn't know where she was. Either way is fine. ^^))

Kamil Terrace ________________________"Well, I've been distracted with other foods like ice cream and pie and-- You know, Sethrian. I can't even list them because there are so much that I've tried!" Kamil laughed. He winced as Renivere started tugging and pulling on his hair.
"I-It's fine Renivere! I can walk around with messy hair." Kamil said as he struggled to hold himself up and not get pulled down by Renivere's tugging. "Awww... come on Renivere..." Kamil complained. "I think my hair is fine the way it is."
But if anything, he had to get her to stop tugging. Because it would be embarrassing if he got thrown down on the ground while she was trying to fix his hair or something. Wouldn't that mean Renivere was stronger than him? Kamil didn't even want to think about that! It was too horrifying seeing Renviere as a manly... woman? ________________________

Sethrian.Terkynna "Well, pie is quite distracting," Sethrian agreed, raising an eyebrow as Renivere attacked Kamil's hair. Kamil attempted to fend her off, but with little success. It was quite entertaining, really. Sethrian almost wished they'd been cooking popcorn instead of cake. "Renivere, there is a bit sticking up at the back..." ((Short post because he's just watching and silently laughing))

He asked, before looking out of the corner of his eye as another male with blue hair bounced into the room. Ignoring the commotion from the other side of the room, London cut cake in half, straight down the middle, pushing them apart slightly with the knife he'd used to cut the oranges. ..Now what would they put them in? Or on?I thought I could love no more.

Oh, that's just me?" ~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~ Simon had fallen asleep at his desk quite a while ago and was actually snoring a bit as the students baked. His two cockroaches were crawling around on his face, but that didn't disturb his rest until one of them decided it was time for him to get up and pay attention to his class when it tickled his nose with its antenna. He woke with a start and smacked the roach off his face, before sneezing off to the side. After blinking a couple times, trying to remember where he was, he looked around the room. Oh, it looked like they were just finishing up. He took a quick glance at the clock and realized that they were probably going to be late. "Go ahead and finish up. If you end up late for class, I'll just write you a pass. And maybe you can bribe your next teacher with a slice of cake, eh?"
