Mark was surrounded by friends, for the first time in a very long time. He wondered what they must have looked like to the world around them. Probably like a bunch of tourists, not humanity's self-proclaimed first line of defense. Mark smiled for the camera, the same smile he was rarely seen without, but it didn't make it to his eyes.

Caelius knew how to score the very short and long ends of the stick when it came to females and .. well, females. He cupped his hands over his mouth and called out in a whistle, a fox whistle, grinning at Caelius's poor expression.
"Yahoo! Don't drop her off your back, dude!" He waved hi arms, grinning in eager manly delight.

Whatever Flair had said, Aki didn't think Nico had made it. She followed Flair almost obediently, and waited for the picture to be taken. At the very least, she could show this to him and rub it in his face later. You've calmed down.No, she'd just accepted what was to come. Whatever lay beyond that portal, Aki was prepared to face it alone. She still had Nien, and there was a part of her that dared to think Nico would be safer if he never turned up.

Em saw the wink, and reached one hand out to blow Julio a big kiss, and yelled out at him. "I love you, baby!" .. that didn't count, though. Then she settled back down and set her chin gently on Caelius' head, grinning like a fool. "Make sure you're smiling, Cael, you don't smile enough." She whispered down into his hair, before stretching her arms out high. She loved being in high places, and Cael was her favorite High Place.

A distracted "Hey" was the only greeting Billie got at first, Warden's eyes moving through the throngs of hunters as though searching for someone or something.
Except really he wasn't; his looking was merely a tactic to memorize the moments, to remember where he was and who he was with. Regardless of what happened this night, he wanted to at least understand that much.
"It's almost midnight," Warden said quietly, with a glance down at Billie. One of her fingers was looped into the belt loop of his slacks, as though to keep him in place - a tiny, hidden gesture that would most likely not be seen by anyone other than Warden. He tucked the sai swords into his belt loop, sighing.
And then staggered forward a few steps as someone collided with him.
"Pardon me," said Warden politely, stepping aside. He didn't recognize the young man, but he gave him a small smile and a nod before wincing slightly at the sudden yell.
A photo?
-- You should go. -- murmured Tee encouragingly, and Warren's fingers found Billie's wrist, tugging her forward with a grin.
"Time to take a picture," he said, and dragged her over before she could protest, wedging himself and her behind a curvy brunette on the black haired-hunter from before's back.
"Say cheese."

"I'm sure I'll see your wounded a** on my table again tomorrow." She teased, nudging an elbow into his ribs. "And well, now that I know that! You're not gettin' outta any hugs ever~" Yes that was a legitimate threat....
And then she heard something about a photo being taken, and promptly grabbed and dragged the lumberjack big man towards where she saw the group forming.
...And along the way she spotted Andy as well, and decided to grab her to be a part of the HUNTER PARTY PICTURE. You know, for fun.
"Smile!" She nudged Reuben again, apparently not giving him a single choice in the matter. The next nudge went to Andy, but it appeared that she nudged the other girl too hard, and accidentally made her fall.

Spotting Julio, Heidi smiled gently and waved. Where was--oh. There was Em. Laughing, Heidi slipped through the crowd to stand as close to Em and Julio as possible.
She didn't do anything crazy like Em, simply giving a small wave and a smile to the camera.

Even as he moved away when Heidi whispered he clicked on his radio talking just to her. "You know how I treat a job. Focus on it, get through today, and tomorrow, hell you can be Liam's assistant or the leader. Just. Stay. Focused." The radio would click off and he would only nod in her direction.
Instead he turned to Gabby, "It's new years, s**t changes? I'll worry about the job don't you worry. But for now, I'm going to enjoy what I can." His hand was around her waist and dragging her over, "C'mon smile pretty girl. Might be the last big gathering of the year for us." He winked and pulled her close he was practically hugging her as he drew out Caine and held the revolver high with a lazy grin.
"Too tomorrow ladies and gentlemen."

Photo? Yes, photo. Photo good. Photo nice distraction from the kiss on her head. Was she supposed to return it? Was she tall enough to return it? Oh Jesus.
Photo. Right. She followed her group, trying to use her scarf to cover her blush as she inched into the massive group.
Oh please let her hair be okay after the ruffling. That was all she asked! DAMMIT ISAAC. She didn't even reply to Adam's suggestion, only followed it with a swift nod and averted eyes. Was she skinny enough? What if Adam fell over? What if he somehow got a panty peak because he fell over.
Zoey gave a sort of flushed smile at the camera after climb on, balancing herself with a hand atop Adam's head. Hmm . . . Actually, this was a good spot to payback.

It all happened so fast, a whirlwind of Em and suddenly Cael was gone, leaving a bemused Titania behind. She was silent for a small moment, before she said in a low voice, "Goodbyes are too final. It's like giving up. And I have no intentions of dying today, or of seeing anyone I'd care to bid goodbye to pass." The corner or her mouth tweaked up in half-hearted smile, and she sighed as she moved her hand to touch Gear's arm. "Besides, it's easier this way, no?" "Come - we should get going." She gestured toward Andy and Gear, before following Cael to stand for the photo. .... The poor boy, what on earth were they doing to him? He looked ripe as a tomato! "Oh stop with the teasing, I don't think he wants to that particular face immortalized." She leveled a sympathetic smile at Cae----- OOGGGHAOWIFFFFF WHAT ON EART----- ANDY? Titania's face suddenly burned as much as Cael's, what with an Andy faceplanted in her chest and all. Immortality, eh? Ellya snickered. Adam stood with just a little wobble, his arms going up to hold on to Zoey's legs. He would never let her fall, she was safe there. He was grinning as he stood, but when he felt the kiss atop his head he actually laughed and turned his head up slightly. One hand squeezed Zoey's calf just a little tighter.
He would miss these people.

At the last second her smile faced to look Jamisson's way, eyes wide and jaw slightly dropped. He was right...he..he was so right.
Sniffing, Heidi wiped her eyes again and gained enough composure to not break down into a quiet sob. She was stronger than that. Just stay focused. Just...stay focused. This is like any other mission, Heidi.
Her hand tightly gripped the sheath of her twin runic daggers, forcing her smile back onto her face for the camera.
