Oh for feck sake! The game is not supposed to ape the table top counter part into the a**l details here peopel! Oh boohoo, a squad of Guardsmen is brutally raping my squads with their lasguns. Work around it. Guess what, lasguns do s**t against vehicles. Send out vehicles then, lure them into ambushes, snipe them! Use that walnut of a brain and be clever!
Oh right, shutting up, the game just needs to be balanced for better or worse. I know that I suck on-line, but I'm not blaming it all on the game.

I know that I suck on-line, but I'm not blaming it all on the game. yeah peope online can be insane at beating you in every way possible. You know what is unbelivibly over powered? The Baneblade! that thing is crazey! 10 guns (if you count the twin-linked weapons as 2) two of them are cannons! it's a monster!

I shudder to think what you'll say if they ever release an update with the "Planet Killer" as an obtainable vehicle. Do I hear "exterminatus" in the house anyone?

Dark-oneechan I shudder to think what you'll say if they ever release an update with the "Planet Killer" as an obtainable vehicle. Do I hear "exterminatus" in the house anyone?

I'm not sure if this was asked or not and I'm somewhat too lazy to look if it was:
I'm having trouble playing DOW becuase a window opens about some Spooge driver and asks if the Direct X is properly installed. It is and I've tried various means to no avail. If some has fixed this problem then please tell me.
(Note: I dont have the net at home so if you ask me to download something dont bother)

Ok, just got the expansion, and can't get it to work. It repeatidly tells me to upgrade to version 1.4 from 1.0 as the first step. Do the CDs do that on their own? If not, please give me exactm working, non corrupt links to everwhere I need to go to to get all the patches neccisary. Please help immediately, I just finished the preview anbd would dearly like to play. Thank you. And hurry.

Find out what video card you have, go to their site, and download the newest driver for it.

A squad of Guardsmen can kill a squad of Marines one-on-one, and has VERY high-powered lasguns. not, ive done play testing, and a marine can kill 3 guardsmen. a guard squad can kill marines if backed up by a chimara, but one-on-one its toward th'e marines. If the guardsmen squad was regenerating, then its possable. and the lasgun being strong represents overcharge.
