Sparkles darted around the room now, looking for his friend squishy. It never even occurred to him to look at the other new boos, though, so he completely missed the fact that she was okay. "Friend squishy, where are you?! Are you all right?!"

As Circe sat there in Mortimer's arms she found herself over whelmed by tears for a teacher she had never known, and in fact at the beginning of the event disliked. But now that she was dead life seemed empty. How was that possible? How could she miss someone she never knew. At that moment her mind retreated to the battle. Of seeing Mandy, Barth and Cadler mangled from fighting. She hadn't had a scratch on her. She felt ashamed that she had done so very little to help in the fight. Sure, she had been there. But being there wasn't help at all.

Circe lightly rubbed her boo face against Mort's, their tears mixing together in a giant mess. Her arm lightly touched LM's in an attempt to help comfort her as well. There was nothing left to feel but sadness. Sadness, and broken hearts.

She heard someone, faintly, ask 'who was she' and the she-wolf had a moment of icy fury flit through her system before it just....vanished. If they didn't know who Red was before, they would always know now. LW found that, through all her sorrow at the loss of their Professor, there was also pride. Pride that they'd had the chance to be taught by such a Professor. That she had shown what it meant to be part of Halloween.

Something was pulling her down into what would probably turn into a tear-filled cuddlepile. It registered that the one that had pulled her down was Mortimer. A very upset Mortimer. Even as she glanced at him, she couldn't find the tears. Couldn't find that deep sorrow.

"Don't be so sad. Be proud." LW whispered to them and any that were close. "She was a mighty denizen of Halloween. Red would not want us to be upset."

Jack, she was going to miss their werewolf Professor though.

Mot never had the pleasure of being taught by Red. The first time he had met her was when he and many students had spied on her and Arel in the hallway. She was scary, powerful and beautiful.

Or rather... She was.

No, she is. Her memory would not be this. This horrible mess on the monitors. Mot tried his best to remember the Red before the trip. While he had no fond memories of her, she was a professor, a woman who fought and protected her students to the very end.

The reaper turned Boo sank, simply laying on the floor, staring up at the screen full of fellow students in mourning.

The patched Boo still trembled and silently cried regardless. It was regret, bitterness, anger - he was not used to feeling so much negativity, and with the room already full of mixed emotions, and the screens quite capable of showcasing the still fighting students, well . . . Mort couldn't help himself.

He didn't feel so bad with Circe also joining in the wet works at least. He kept his grip on the two ghouls, listening to LW's words.

He couldn't feel pride, not right now. Not when he had seen the hunter decapitate the professor with frenzied malice. It wasn't something to be proud of, it was something to fear . . . to mourn.

"I-I s-s-sorry . . ." Mort glanced up at her with his watering green eyes. "When . . . wh-when this is d-done, and w-w-we be back in school . . . You t-tell stories?"

He wanted to know what he had missed. What he could have been a part of. What this woman had been like before her untimely demise.

Freya watched them sink down, one by one, and followed suit, eventually landing in front of the threesome that seemed most torn up about the loss. The sight of them hurting so much made her little boo heart clench, and she rolled gently, nudging them in a gesture of comfort.

"Yes!" She piped up when Mort offered the option. "Please, tell stories abouts her? I am sads I did not gets to know her. I will wants to hear all abouts her, if any of yeh are willings."

As she appeared in the room, her heart was so heavy. Whisper was full of so many different emotions, happiness that she got to see Natalia once more, but a very deep cut of melancholy that she was never going to see Red again. She had a feeling that the fire that sent her here was Red's parting gift. Her idea of an easy goodbye. It's too bad it wasn't easy in any way, shape or form. Red would be a part of her forever, always who Whisp would aspire to be like. Even if the Professor wasn't there when she got back to school, if she got back to school, she knew things would never be the same. For anyone really...

Whisper sat where there was an open place and let her head rest in her hands. She let out a heavy sigh, and waited to see what was going to happen next.

Ever since her unfortunate transformation into a very much naked boo, the ghoul had been hiding in the corner of the room next to the popcorn machine. Edel had taken to watching the skelevision screen instead to keep her attention away from the rather disturbing behavior of the other boos.

A part of her wanted to tear her eyes away from the screen. The end was near, even she knew that. But the ghoul steeled herself to continue watching as the protective barrier of ice came up, as Red faded into monochrome, as Caelius tore at the remains like a maniac. First there was just numbness, then a guilt that she had attacked Red. A denial of responsibility for that followed, then came the rage towards that horrible Caelius for what he had done. The emotions continued to stir in her for awhile until they finally settled down. Still, Edel could not bring herself to cry.

True, she had never known the Professor before this, but that wasn't the main reason for it. She had given herself up so that they would survive....ending her life with the declaration that they were Halloween – they would never die. It was such bitter irony, but Edel was focused on something else. It became clearer and clearer to her that this was war. The hunters need to be eradicated.

But what could she do?

Well, it might help to get out of this boo-state for starters.

Sancka was confused and that was putting it lightly, first everything went all hazy and weird...then all the two leggers were replaced with boos - which wasn't necessarily a bad thing since being a boo was so obviously better then being whatever they had been before - Why they ought to all bow down and thank the house for this wonderful gift.

But then things started to get weird again and Sancka was having a hard time focusing on the task at hand, it wasn't until the lights went back to normal that she was able to spot her adversary and attack again encouraged by the quiet shouting of the General from inside the Vacuum. Swooping down out of the air she tried to bite off the boo busters ear..but only managed to get a little piece of it. Maybe she was still a little bit confused, and all the wailing from what was happening on the screen certainly wasn't helping. The giant thing was dead...but didn't they all realize they had to rescue the General?!?

He hadn't known Red. He'd only met her at the beginning of this trip. But she had saved Xiu's life, and fought against those bastards, even when going crazy. Roch stared at the screen, his toy guitar forgotten, the idiotic humping boos forgotten, nothing but the image of the skull on the ground in his mind.

He couldn't even play a dirge for her. He couldn't mourn, and help the others mourn, in the only way he knew how. He had no fingers. He had a pathetic imitation of a guitar.

Once again he was useless when he should have been useful.

Jagar didn't know what to think when that weird contraption the Boo Buster had activated and he didn't like the feel of how his body had turned all wispy it was something that he didn't want to feel again. He was glad once his body formed back up, but as he looked around to see that all the two leggers had also been turned into boos which he thought was kind of cool as he didn't really like the look of all the two leggers as being a boo was the best!

Floating around as he looked at all the other boos and the boo students as the room had gotten larger for all of them there as that had been a nice thing for the house to do as it was getting a little crowded, Jager thought. Then the room went dark and that didn't matter to him as the dark can be a nice place and a good way to hide. Watching what was happening on the glowing screen as it didn't make any sense to him what was happen, but from the feelings and watching the other boo students reaction to what happened that they had been saddened by what had happened on the screen.

Jager didn't like all of those feeling as the ones that he truly liked were happiness and fear for the most part and didn't like the sadness he was seeing. He was just more angry at the Boo Buster and he thought that strange man had to go away and now as he wasn't wanted by the boos anyway. As Jager didn't want to be sucked up by that vacume contraption.

"Let that boo go and leave us all alone, stupid Boo Buster!!" Jager said anger in his voice and again he flew in for another attack at the Boo Buster. Even tho he looked happy he started to look a little angry as he got his tongue ready for his attack. Once more he had hit the Boo Buster with his attack and got a good one in this time and he hoped that the Boo Buster would have nightmare about his tongue for a long time.

[Lizzy is sitting out of all the fights forever.]

Death felt different every time it happened.

She could remember when she died for the first time - she had Amrita's hand in her own, and they were running away from a giant fire-breathing dragon. Her death had been quick and easy, and when she reformed back in the infirmity, she saw nobody familiar around. They had survived. The second time she died, it happened almost as quick, and again, it was by fire. That time, she didn't wake up in her physical body; she woke up as something weightless and floating up high in the sky. It was a lonely kind of death. This time? This time...

When she formed in the room, she felt disorientated by the rather sudden change in surroundings. Her death had been relatively quick, but not necessary painless; honestly, she could not remember. She just remembered fire - lots of it - surrounding her, tearing her away from her friends. Searing her skin and flesh-

She inhaled sharply, fingers digging into her skin as her eyes squeezed shut at the memory; she didn't feel so brave anymore. She didn't feel so stubborn anymore. She didn't feel like there was a need to prove anything anymore. She just wanted to go home with her friends, right now. This field trip had brought her nothing but tears and heartache like every other field trip - she didn't feel stronger. This field trip just made her feel more helpless, and not in the way a million training sessions would help with either.

It was that sort of helplessness that came from the realization that she was just one ghoul that couldn't make a difference on a battlefield littered with students and hunters.

Tears she couldn't control rolled down her cheeks as she ignored the commotion going on. Instead, she headed straight for the comfortable looking couch, quickly forming a pillow fort around her in the most inconspicuous part of the room - a wall of pillows to her left, right, back and front, and her little "home" was built. She even piled some longer pillows above her head, leaving only a small "window" to glance out of as she hugged a pillow to her chest. Her eyes were glued to the screens, her teeth biting down on her lower lip as she spotted several familiar faces - Amrita, Xiu, Lattice...

She held the pillow closer to herself for comfort - she didn't want anyone to find her. Then again, maybe she did. Then she could convince herself that someone cared that she died. Just maybe though... She had a feeling that she wasn't her usual self.

Time passed and nobody came. Yet, she found herself feeling surprisingly contented; the continued yells and noises coming from the other side of the room going ignored. The fact that she was now a boo did not bother her either; it just made that soft pillow harder to hug. She wanted - needed - to mope, and this time, there was nobody to knock on her door and make her stop.

When the room went dark and everyone started paying attention to the screens, she shifted a bit, pushing the pillow she had been hugging under her to help her see better - her vision was being blocked, but through the gaps between student-boos, she could see the students. A barrier. A grey skull - Red's skull.

Her heart sunk, and it became hard to breathe all of a sudden at the realization.

She was exhausted. Her limbs felt weak... And she sunk to the bottom of her pillow fort, sobbing into the pillow, already stained with her dried tears, without actually shedding any fresh tears - it was over, and the hunters are gone... But they didn't win. It wasn't even a draw.

It was unfair. Professor Red didn't have to die. She didn't... Have to...

Honor just looked Hel up and down and paid her no mind. Did this little slip of a girl think she could ever compete with Honor?

Honor looked around at all the two legged beings and laughed when they all turned into boos.

"This is so f***ing funny to me"

She pointed to everyone last one of them.

"Now you will see what it feels like to be a boo."

She turned her attention back at the boo buster.

"Your going down."

"House..." Roch said quietly, turning away from the screen and facing the wall. "House, I know you're here. I know you can speak, that stupid mouth that ate me, it was you, right? Come on, House. Turn us back. We need legs--we need them to go to them. We need arms. We need them to--" To hold them, his mind said, but his mouth refused to finish it.

"We need shoulders, and chests--Because how can you jackin' cry on someone's shoulder when they don't have them?" His voice was raw with a mix of rage and frustration. "Please, House, I'm jackin' begging you. Not for me, I hardly knew the lady. But for the ones that did."

What was this? What had just...?

Taryn had never known Red, but she had known of her. Mostly her fellow students offered praise, even now. Still, the ghoul was struck that she had just witnessed a death, and an honorable, glorious one at that. As the Humans picked apart the skull of what had only moments before been alive, Taryn felt... sick. What was this? She turned to Roch, to Hel, to the ghost boil who had snapped at her before, and none of them seemed to have any answers.

As Roch pleaded with the house she hovered, her nubby little arms pressed against her own chest. The fact that they were Boos seemed insignificant, all of a sudden. Someone had just died. Someone important. Someone amazing.
