"It is all right, it is a wonderful talent, you could help so much with farmers. You are a plethora of golden opportunities and help, Lily, you are truly a blessing." he said, kneeling down and lifting the other's head, planting a kiss on his cheek. This was good for Lily, he was discovering the talents other master's had tried hard to kill. Lily was from Falia, so he supposed such things with emotions, communication with plants, made sense. Resting his forehead against the other's he smiled gently. "I'm aware, I loved her very much as well." And his smile turned sad before hugging the bentien. he just sort of needed a hug. Certainly it was un-princely of him to do so, but no one else knew of this alcove aside from him and his mother, and he had shared it with Lily. "I had loved her to the very end. But, please do not communicate with this flower too much, I fear it will show you things that cannot be unseen or undone."

Elliot smiled gently when the slender arms wrapped around his being, slowly relaxing in the other's embrace, unable to hide the feeling of, gratitude he supposed, as she relaxed against him. was she finally opening up? That was good news, considering all that he had been through, Lily should feel safe somewhere. At the question gray eyes flickered over to the flower. To have her learn the song he had tried to hard to remember. Kissing her ear he pulled away, nodding. "You may. I'd be ever so thankful, Lily." Taking her hand he kissed it. "We should go back inside or we'll both freeze to death." It was getting a little hard to move his fingers, was it truly that cold outside? He should have had Lily wore gloves. Cupping her hands in his he blew hot air on them. He could not have her frozen, he was okay with the cold, he could not feel it. She could, this teenage boy could.

"You are lucky my ability is one of not feeling this weather." He said, shrugging off his coat and placing it around the bentien's shoulders before grabbing his hand. Apparently Lily hadn't noticed the cold either, so keeping a good grip on the other's hand he led him back through the maze of hedges and flowers, boots moving fast. Upon exiting the hedges the wind seemed to increase without the makeshift walls, the prince nearly losing his hat, cursing at the wind god for such turbulent weather before opening a door and bringing Lily inside before entering himself, shutting the door. The heir could feel the increased warmth in the house, rubbing his frozen fingers together and looked at the bear-eared maid.

"You were neither in your room nor the study." She explained simply, a tray of hot tea and two cups in her hand. "Care for a drink?" It was amusing, seeing the prince's nose red with cold, his fingers were no better off, but the tall one was in just as bad a shape, but at least that one could tell they were frozen.

"A drink will be nice, yes. Thank you so much, you can set the tray down on that table."

She did just that, looking at Lily. "Shall I take your coats and hats?" Elliot offered her his own, before pouring the tea, the maid's brown eyes turning to look at Lily patiently. "Did you enjoy the gardens?"

"You are quite welcome, enjoy the tea." She said, giving a bow and turning, bowing to the prince as well before leaving.

Elliot smiled, taking a sip of his own, looking back toward Lily. "There are so many maids and servants I cannot remember all their names. I can remember their faces, however." He said with a chuckle. "It makes me feel bad." And took another sip before speaking softly. "And thank you again, Lily, for showing me those other memories and communicating with the Memory flower, you've no idea how much that means to me. I am truly grateful." He smiled, swallowing the rest of his tea and placing it on the tray. "We can finish drinking in the study, I need to finish the papers so we can have them sent to Falia." Well copied then sent to the country.

Letting Lily still drink her tea he picked up the tray, carrying and beginning his walk. "When it is going to be delivered, would you like to go? I'd actually like to go myself to see how Falia actually looked. I've read nothing but descriptions, and there are very few paintings of it. Even seeing the outside I'll be content."

Elliot wasn't surprised when the tray was taken out of his hand, everyone seemed to do that to him. Apparently a prince could weird a sword, hunt and ride a horse, but heaven forbid he lift a tray and ruin his fingers. "Hm?" he looked back at Lily who had stopped walking. More shock? "Of course, it is your home, and I certainly cannot leave you here alone, Lily." He explained, staying silent as she thought, walking again when she started. "Then you will be coming along. But we have at least a month to wait, so there is no need for you to worry so soon." he explained, finding his study and opening the door. "You can rest and think about it, or read your book."

Elliot said a small thank you as the tea was placed, looking at the cold lunch and deciding to eat a piece of the goose as well, finishing the final copy before working on the other draft. He worked in silence, listening to the pen scratch at the paper, glancing at the lamps which were tinted with a faint color he couldn't discern. It was like that the rest of the day, the prince occasionally standing to stretch or lean back and rest himself for a moment. it wasn't until late evening did the triplets burst through the study door, frightening him out of his thoughts.

"Brother, we got you something!" Annabelle exclaimed, running over and climbing onto his lap, showing him the small glass bottle.

"What is it?" He asked, taking it gently, the other two crowding his chair.

"We went to the market." Martha said. "Do you know how much cool stuff is there?! They had swords! Real swords! one man said I could shop there when I was older!"

Emily looked up at him as well. "Our teacher took us to the market to help us with math. That is a shampoo to make your hair soft, Annabelle bought a different kind for herself." She explained, walking over to Lily and holding out a purple crystal. "It reminded me of your hair. It's still raw, but we can find a blacksmith to turn it into a ring, or necklace." She explained. "Oh, you know calculus?"

"It was being sold at the marketplace." Emily explained simply, taking in the information like a sponge. "These are in Reta? They're mostly found in forested areas like Falia, according to the seller." She explained. It recognized people? So it recognized Lily? Was Lily from Falia? Brown eyes widened in amazement as it changed light frequency much like the lamps to brother's moods. But when it was placed back in her hands it stopped. "So did you bleed on it, then?" She asked curiously. "Were you born in Falian mountains?"

Elliot had to agree with Annabelle, the smell of this supposed soap was hideous, but he had others to weaken the smell, so he prayed it wouldn't be too bad in his hair. Hearing Emily's question he glanced over quickly before Martha bite his hand, making him yelp and snatch it away. "What on earth was that for?!"

Martha feigned innocent. "I'm hungry."

"There is a kitchen for that. Cannibalism is frowned upon in this country, Martha."

"That must be a lot of ancestors." She murmured, turning as her brother cried out.

Martha looked at Lily. "But it's cold. who eats cold food?"

"Brother does." Annabelle piped up with a smile, crawling off of his lap to look at the papers. "You need to take a break, there's so much writing and your inkwell is almost empty." She turned to look at him, lifting his hand. "And see? This is covered in ink as well."

"Perhaps I will retire for the night. Lily, are you hungry? We can go to the kitchens for some food first if you are."
