Tybalt glared back at the fake female reaper. His lips pulling back into a snarl, showing off all of his serrated teeth.
If she wanted to fight, he'd gladly take her on.
"Hmph! It's like looking at a gnome." He spat out at Cass, turning his nose up in disgust.

"Mmmm...yes, please do so. The screeching and melodrama is a bit hard on the ears when it goes on for so long."

The look Gale gave Bix was one that clearly said What? It's the truth.
He gave a small wave to Cass, then slanted his gaze sideways at the ever illuminating Doctor H, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.
"Quite, Doctor. What would you have us do?"

Bix futzed with the cage for just a moment before it popped open. The kelpie was weak, barely able to move it seemed, as he pulled it from the cage and pulled it towards the tube which was already open and waiting.
He'd seen it before. Put them in the tube and the Doc does his thing. He was pretty much dead weight so there was no resistance as Bix pulled the creature into the tube and closed it.
He shuffled back to his teammates quickly.

Cass laughed at the comment that was thrown at her by the ghost dog. Oh, that was certainly a lot different than what she'd dealt with as a child being thrown into every haunted building that could possibly b found for a girl of her..merit, she guessed. "That is certainly a new one. I'll have to remember it." she threw back, making kissy 'awww, wookit duh widdle doggeh, 'dawwwwww, I hope you die' esque coos to the cage before the voice in her head tugged her from doing such a thing.
I said do not taunt it.
<> Conversation with the left temple aside, she linked arms with Jude. "We should move before the rest get here and land on us." she suggested. "Get good seats for whatever it is they're going to do." she seemed excited about it, but still bustled away to hopefully not be landed on by Leon, Jeremy, or Marcus on exit.

As the chamber was sealed shut, the doctor hit several switches and a low, powerful humming began to fill the room. Inside the chamber, Calder got to enjoy the feeling of an almost-but-not-truly dissipation, like being pulled into millions of tiny pieces but never quite apart. Blue strands of electricity began to dance on the outside of the chamber and the humming grew louder, cause the ground to tremble.
At the bottom of the chamber, a light stream of...mist...no fog, swirled gently around Calder's hooves.

His body felt too heavy, and while he tried to kick, all he managed was to give a slow jerk of his leg before he was lifted up and dragged out of the cage. Eyes glimmered from the darkness of cages, and the humans stood in a cluster, talking as if they didn't notice what was happening at all or could care less of the events. Surrounded by cages with trapped Halloween citizens, his friends, fellow students, and one being dragged to some weird tube, and they laughed and played and teased without batting an eye.
The tube stood, open and waiting. The kelpie managed to just drag his hooves into the dirt a bit more, but he didn't have the fight to kick and buck. He hit the floor of the tube before it was closed and turned over on his side. This couldn't be good.
Dragging his body over, he rose up to press his shoulder against the door and did his best to push against it, but it didn't so much as budge. "...What are you doing?" He managed, voice echoing in the chamber as he looked up through the chamber he was in outside to the hunters nearby.
Before he was given an answer, lights danced outside and he felt a strange sensation. Was he being killed off? He felt weak enough. There was a flickering hope that he had been shocked too much that he would disappear before anything could happen. He'd go back to the front yard and tell everyone. He'd have another chance.
But it took longer. Longer than it should. His body felt strange, and yet he could still look around and see the fog rolling around his hooves. Laying his his body resting against the door, he tried to shoo the fog away, but he couldn't lift his arm up anymore. Soon it was covering him and it grew harder to see. So tired. He just wanted to take a nap. Go back and rest on Barth's bed.

Jude found that Cass had linked arms with him much like earlier and since she had spent time breaking into his personal space it seemed that he was more open to accept it this time as he let her do so and even turned his arm so it linked with hers as well, "Sounds safer that way," he agreed as he quietly pulled at her to a different area but one that had a good view of what was about to happen.
He didn't pity these things but he didn't exactly have a deep, deep hatred for them either. They were in cages and they couldn't hurt him or anyone ... right now.
He quietly watched as the current creature was put in the chamber, it almost looked too unpleasant to be in there. Suddenly he was glad to be a Hunter.

Barth's eyes didn't leave Calder's. The proverbial smell of blood was in the air. He couldn't have expected Calder to be quiet. Not really. It was...who he was.
Who he would be for only another few seconds.
"I-" Barth started, too slow, Calder was already in the chamber, the machine roaring to life.

s**t! Had they already ran out of time!? What was going to happen to Calder? What the hell was that contraption!?
He grit his teeth together in frustration and tested his ability again.
Nothing!
Why couldn't he phase through!? If he could just get out of this damn cage...! He could have at least tried to short out the power with his own lightning!
His eyes fixed on the fake reaper ghoul again and gave a low growl. If only he could use his damn Fear, she wouldn't be laughing then!
"Just you wait..!" He promised.

Jove forgot about his attempts to hide his single bare foot, and stood up on his knees as Calder's cage was opened. Then he shouted, remarkably loud compared to his normal, wordless self, "Bite him!"
But Calder didn't seem to have any strength left, and Jove had to watch helplessly as the kelpie was shoved into the machine. In another fit of anger, Jove threw himself at the electrified bars yet again, as though he had forgotten the ineffectiveness of the past few attempts.

They were taking Calder away - Ren pushed himself upwards, grabbing the bars and ignoring the way the electricity shivered up and down his arms. Beside him, he could hear Jove trying the same thing - throwing his little body against the cage in a desperate attempt to get out.
"Jack dammit! - "

With a curse, the doctor stopped the machine and sighed, "Not quite compatible...just yet. A few more adjustments will be needed, I believe. Though I supposed I could always just be a diva like Cale and just purge the subject." His finger carelessly tapped the purging button as he considered it.
While the doctor toyed with altering Calder's existence to something that could be considered even worse than a weapon, the small streamer of fog swirled up, closer to the kelpie's ears. At first is was hard to hear anything really, but gradually it grew to the softest of whispers.
"Home."
It didn't speak with one voice, it spoke with dozens of hushed whispers.
"...want to go home. I. We. Usssss. You. Hoooooome."

Cass gripped Jude's arm tightly, as though they were getting to the most exciting part of the movie. It was perhaps for the best that the hunters had a few grounded individuals like Jude who weren't just out for mindless destruction. If Cass ran the group, it would have been ground into the ground by then from her enthusiasm and passion for her new found calling.
She leaned over and whispered to him;
"What are they doing, Jude?" she inquired, having not seen the device that was being used now in action before. Maybe he'd know.

Calder laid in the chamber, looking through the class and hearing the muffled voiced outside. He could barely see, and he listened to his own breathing echoing in the tube he was held in.
Then he heard the faintest whisper, and slowly shook his head. "...can't go home. ...can't leave without herd......can't leave without friends.....without Barth." He desperately just wanted to go home, but he couldn't leave. He had been given that option before and he had said no. It was no different now.
