For a moment the boy would stand there in the doorway, crimson eyes flicking across each of the shell coated embryos...eggs in layman's terms. The presence of the light turning green alerted him to the urgency of hastening his thoughts. He knew not to whom these eggs belonged, but he also knew not to pass up a good opportunity when it was provided.
Again his eyes would flick between the eggs, attempting to make a swift decision based on colour alone. No easy feat, but he had little choice.
Dashing across the room, the boy would slam the button at the base of the incubator with his closed fist, the hissing of air filling the room briefly as the container opened. Then with a gentle touch the child would remove the Blue Egg, placing it in the fur lined satchel he'd recently created. There was no doubt to the eggs ability to stay safe and warm within it...
Now however, was likely not the time to dwell and ponder such things. Best he depart swiftly should anyone else arrive when this egg didn't appear wherever it was meant to go...
Boots clicking against the ground, Raven would march out of the room and back into the vents.

With a swoosh the other eggs would vanish down the hole ...the moment he had freed the blue seemed that time had indeed run out with the others. He had his egg, the other two returning to their owners.
One had to wonder what sort of problems stealing that egg would cause.

Continuing his search for Rattata once more, Raven would unconsciously cover his satchel with the edge of his cloak, his left arm held protectively over it. The egg inside was precious cargo, and every fibre of his body was well aware of this fact...
His left arm otherwise occupied, the boy's right hand would reach across his midsection to rest on the hilt of his sword. Never would the child feel truly prepared without one hand on a weapon at all times...be it sword or Pokeball.

Though what would come down the shaft from his opposite direction was what many would call a scavenger ...the pokemon's nose twitching like mad as the smell of the egg. It would probably attract all the remaining Rattatta in the place ....as he moved swiftly over the surface of the metal ...almost gliding in his joy. Eggs were a rarity down here, that room itself was reinforced in such a way to keep the rodents out, so no egg had every been harmed ....until now .....as the Rattata would rush after the boy.
Hoping he wouldn't notice his stalking until it was too late.
Even the shift of the cloak over it would not hide it from the broken tooth, bad fur, brown creature that rushes after him.

Despite the Rattata's efforts, Raven would turn almost as soon as the rodent was in range of his own hearing. The boy's steps were heavy, producing a clank with ever step; but on the other hand, he'd been listening for the sounds of any Rattata. That was the soul reason he remained in this place after all!
Hand sliding from the hilt of his sword and shifting to the side of his belt, grasping the fourth ball he held there. A shiny Rattata, a rarity if one ever saw it. Though he held no personal interest in the creature, a Pokemon of such an odd, unique colouration might have it's advantages...though it presented problems as well. A trainer with such a Pokemon would become easy to track...
Shaking his head, the boy would release Requiem onto the field. He could ponder such things later; for now he had a mission to accomplish. It was time to beat this rodent into the floor!
Pokemon: Zorua [M]
Name & Level: Requiem, Lv 2
[Temperament] Bold
Bio: During his rather lengthy adventure within the aether, Raven encountered a sight most odd. The forms of three Ghost-Type's surrounded by mist and wielding instruments; at their center standing a lone Zoroark with a microphone. Instead of fighting, the four Pokemon joined together in melodies most haunting; and when the performance had reached its end, the musicians shifted, the air glimmering about them as their forms disappeared, revealing a group of four rather unique Zorua. Requiem had been the lead singer of this group, and despite a lack of combat with the creature had left a rather distinct impression upon the child. Thus when Regal offered them the chance to obtain any one Pokemon they had encountered upon the island, Raven chose the little black fox. He knew nothing of Requiem's combat ability, but he had witnessed the signs of a leader, and the potential for so much more!
Upon his first release into the world outside the aether, the Zorua declared this and all too follow his first 'Solo Tour', and that he was going to rock this world!
It was on the shores of Iron Island Requiem met death against the Magmar of a Strike Student named Trix, a member of the self named "Team Legacy". Though the Zorua had proven his strength, plowing into his opponent with devastating power, gusto on it's own didn't prove enough to save him from the Magmar's Focus Blast.
Saved by the ability of the team's Guard Student, Requiem was reborn as an egg; and once hatched managed to retain a patchwork of his old memories. The memory of his own demise especially is something he feels will forever mark his soul.

The shiny rattata would hiss his displeasure at being so easily caught. His tail would slash across the ground rudely as he narrowed his eyes. No he wasn't going to lose this easily, he wanted that egg as he would show his fangs to the Zorua.
(I will let you go fox, if you hand me the egg.)
He would threaten as he would race forward. His tail taking on the glint of metal as he swung it around to try and hit the pokemon against the wall ...to make his threat much more real with an open assault.

">Egg? What egg mate? Ya know a deal don't hold water if ya words sprung a leak!<" The Zorua asked with a tilt of his head; but a few moments further and the scent would hit his own nose. He knew the smell of an egg, there'd been plenty back on Mirage. So his Manager had picked up some young talent huh?
">Sorry mate, gotta protect my new opening act!<" Requiem remarked with an impish smirk as his head snapped back in the direction of the rodent. No way was he losing to a rat...even a rather sparkly one. ">Don't ya know how drab brown looks?<" The fox called out, darting off to one side in hopes of evading the Rattata's attack ">Why don't we add a little extra colour? I'm partial to black myself!<"
With these words shadows would begin to swirl all about the Zorua, encasing his body in the deepest black ">Listen to the Wail of my Soul!<" Requiem called with a howl, and all at once the shadows would disperse from his body in a wave. Dark Pulse.

(Sorry to tell ya mate, my stomach rumbles are louder)
He would tell Requim as his tail slams into his jaws as he turns his back on the Zoura after he hit. His eyes going towards Raven as he open his maw and smiled showing off jagged and yellow teeth. No, he had bigger plans as he took one step towards the boy and then another.
He was going to eat well for a few days.

">Eh mate, don't ya know not ta turn ya back on Center Stage? I'm just getting warmed up!<" Requiem called out to the brown rodent, rising up from the floor with a slight wince. Oh he was gonna feel that one in the morning...or in another five seconds. He wasn't exactly a doctor.
The shadows began to wisp around the Zorua's feet and tail tip, like an old friend checking to see if he were okay the veil of blackness would caress his form gently; but with passing second the group would strengthen, the darkness becoming more solid. ">Here's a little diddy I learned from the grave!<" Requiem called, once more releasing a wave of shadowy energy. Another Dark Pulse.

The rattata's tail would flick it away without even a second thought as the metal would grow along that limb once more. His eyes would shine maliciously as he turns around and smiles at him. A friendly look turned sinister on his face.
(Didn't I tell you mate, that my hunger belly is stronger than any ditty you can come up with)
He would tell him as he turns and rushes at him. Another quick twist as this time he would do a hand stand as he would raise his rear end high and then bring it down with his full force and the assistants of gravity ad he did another Iron tail.

">You may be right bout that one mate!<" Requiem declared, a sly sort of grin appearing of his features as a glint came into his eye. The Rattata's hunger might have given him strength thus far, but it also presented one hell of a weakness!
Getting up on the tip of his paws the Zorua would begin to dance about, releasing a series of vulpine howls as he began to sing...about nothing but food. Burgers, cakes, soup, cheese, apples, treats of all types and tastes, the Dark-Type would sing about them all. He was trying to make the Rattata even hungrier...so hungry it hurt. Switching tactics Requiem had entered a rather food oriented Round!

His attack would miss as the fox danced out of the way and he would collapse rather painfully against the ground as the song began. His stomach rumbling louder ...really it was two folded ....as he lay there with the breathe out of him.
The sound of cheese burgers and other delights danced in his mind. Though it had the problem of making ...his rumbles louder ....probably enough to drown out any sounds as he lay there on his back.

As if anticipating this turn of events, Requiem would begin to sing louder, making full use of the locations echo by doing something more amazing then anything the Zorua had ever done. Raising the pitch of his voice, Requiem would suddenly switch from the expected rock song to something much closer to an operetta!
Though the style of music would change, the Round would continue it's food oriented theme. He would cause the Rattata's stomach unbearable pain by furthering the beasts hunger beyond his limits![Song]

The pokemon would hit as he felt the bird's flesh against him, but he wasn't done yet. No as his feet touched lightly on the ground he would lunge again with another tackle, afterall, using a counter didn't disrupt the flow of battle ....only took advantage of it ...as he would aim to send that bird spinning away from him this time.
