Ciel had to look away when Clovis was slammed into the building. He forced himself to keep watching, shifting his position slightly on a wall that had not yet been destroyed.

Clovis delivered a round house kick to Midnight,sending him into the ground and making a crater in the earth. They went both panting,reaching thier limits on strength and power.

Ciel jumped off the wall as the crater that Clovis had formed sent it crashing to the ground. He kept watching, this time climbing into a tree to watch.

Midnight growled. he knew he would loss if Clovis got anymore hits in. "I been playing fair old man..." he took something out his pocket. "now it time to play dirty." he flung something at Clovis. It went into his chest not far from his heart. Clovis collasped to his knees in pain. "you bastrad...you got pieces."
"Pieces of the true cross. They are hard to find you know." He kicked Clovis' body. "they don't affect me but you on the other hand,well they work very well."

Ciel stepped back, shocked and upset. He ran out of the tree, towards Clovis, afraid the vampire would die.

Midnight chuckled and smiled. "with that piece in your chest you'll be dead in a matter of minutes,maybe seconds. Don't worry I'll take good care of your pet." Clovis growled but dared not move. The piece of the cross was causing him great pain and any movment would drive it closer to his heart.

Ciel lay next to Clovis, turning back into his normal form, tears in the corners of his eyes. "Clovis... Is there anything I can do to help? Please, I don't want you to die!"

Ciel nodded, gently taking hold of the piece, pulling it out in one quick motion to try and reduce the pain.

Ciel looked at Clovis in shock, but he nodded. "Tell me how you'd prefer it to be done and I'll make it happen."

Ciel coughed blood as Clovis stabbed him, slowly falling limp in his arms.
