He closed his eyes, brows furrowing, "I told y'already. Tha' Aubrey came, soakin' wet an' upset. Wanted t'shag, but b'fer we coul' get anywhere, I changed an' she fled. Probably I scared her off. Don' blame 'er."

"Did she tell you why she was upset?" Antony asked, sitting up a little straighter as her own brow furrowed in thought. As good of a lay as Billy was, she really doubted Aubrey, the woman who took one of his balls, would come over simply to ********.

"Well, she *said* she came t'tell me abou' bein' injected yesterday... or somethin'... I think she go' in a fight wit' th'good Doc. Either way, it din' go very well when I vomited ink in her face."

The fact that Aubrey had come to Billy's after she and Moreau fought made more sense to Antony. It seemed that she had wanted to make the 'good Doc' jealous by sleeping with Billy, and the vomiting of ink probably drove her off. "Yeah well... Not your fault," she murmured, obviously deep in thought, where she had woken up this morning returning to the front of her mind.
This all seemed to strange to not be connected somehow. But why her? Especially in her condition...
It didn't make sense.

Billy was about to reply again when suddenly the loud speakers hidden about the duplex crackled to life, "Hello my precious subjects,
If you didn't already know, my second-in-command, Dr. Aubrey Lockheart was severly injured recently. She may not survive.
No one but Aubrey has entered the labs since the travesty, and no one else is allowed to, so the guilty party must be on the outside.
Bring me the guilty party, or else you'll all suffer for this. I hope no more than that needs to be said.
If you are the responsible party, know that all eyes will turn to you. You can't escape the eyes of those you might have considered friend, or even lover.
I want the person responsible to be brought to me."
He frowned, his strange octopus skin flickering pale, almost completely white in some areas. His expression sobered up from his weary, almost drunkish state from after his change, "Wha' did... ?"

The announcement caused chills to run through her body as she looked over at Billy, but shook her head when he looked worried. "You can't walk... Much less..." She trailed off, a worried, even scared, look crossing her features as she tried to abruptly stand up. It wasn't directed at Billy, but seemed more, internal than that.

Billy stared at her in horror, the rest of his skin bleaching out to join the blotches untill he was almost as pale as her furr, "Y'don' think... how coul' y'think I-" He sputtered, suddenly giving a cough as a couple drops of ink trickled from his mouth in his sudden dread.

"You didn't!" She cried before taking some deep breaths. He had just calmed down and she didn't want him inking all over himself again. "I just... Didn't wake up in my duplex," Antony whispered hoarsely as if that mattered at the moment.

"Well, I don' t'ink YOU did it!! Oh bloody..." He didn't know what to think, shifting in the tub to try to stand. Aubrey was... she nearly... she might...? He hated her, yes, but they had found a sort of... emotional middle ground to totter between. Now she was...? He didn't know what to think, nor what to feel. Part of him was rejoicing! Someone got that b***h! The same part hoped she had been ripped limb from limb, and wondered if there was any little... piece he could find for himself as a keepsake. Another part was horrified. Sure, Billy had done terrible things, killed people, ruined lives, fuled by the powder up his nose and a general enthusiasm for life, but outright murder for the sake of revenge?

A faint nod was the only response that Antony managed to make as she absently offered him a hand up as she leaned against the wall for support. "I need to get to my duplex," she breathed, glancing over at him finally, the squirrel apparently freaking out about all of this.

"Wha'? Now? I'll... I'll go wit' ye!" His color had started to seep back, but he still was pale all over. He didn't particularly wish to be left alone, especially when it was so difficult to walk, and there was the chance of *someone* who still hadn't heard his side of the Colche story barging in and accusing him. Had anyone seen her come into his duplex? Had they seen her come out again?

"I," she ran a hand over her face in frustration, almost nervously, "There's no evidence that you killed her okay! You're not guilty... I just..." Once again she trailed off, giving him a pleading look. She had to get out of there.

He snorted, "An' wha' evidence is there YOU di' it? Why so paniced?" His face fell and he frowned, letting go of her to cling to the wall with a tentacle, hobbling away towards the bed, "Oh. Runnin' t'yer lover, eh?"

"None," she replied, moving to gather her crutches so she could help him to the bed, but his next comment caused anger to singe through her veins. "I'll have you know that the last time I saw him he gave me this." Antony made a crude gesture towards her cast while giving him a sour look.
