Cleo walked close behind Oro. The elf was slightly disappointed that she was no longer holding him, but she had this deep feeling he would run away if she tried to force him into being held. She barely heard what Schwarz said. "Immortal. Right. You feel more dead than immortal." Cleo didn't give two sh*ts to what Schwarz was saying. He wasn't cute and fluffy.
"You two are immortal?" Lloyd looked slightly confused. "So, you're like Kratos and Yuan? That's kinda cool." The hero smiled brightly. "I know where the town is as well. I had to go there from time to time during the Journey."

"Excellent." Cinkel pipped up. If it was at all possible, he seemed even more upbeat. There was no doubt that Cinkel was in a great mood. "Colette, you beautiful Chosen you, would you care to see to it that a room is prepared. I've no need for any cooking supplies. Only room to set up. While you do that, think of anything you would like to eat." He smiled at her and looked towards the others. "Is there anything specific you would like, Jason, Hina, Veig? I can cook anything you want." Cinkel smiled at them.
"Huh, is there something on my face, Veig?" He put his finger tips to his face.

Veig shook his head at the question. "No, it's nothing. Just something I'm thinking about." He said absentmindedly. "I'm fine with anything as long as it's edible."

"Are you sure?" Cinkel smiled and held out his hand as if he were offering something. "It's not often you get to eat the food of a gourmet chef for free." Cinkel usually never brags about anything, but cooking was always a deep and burning passion for him. He's skills could rival that of the Wounder Chef. He was as good at cooking as he was bad at singing.

"Staying up all night makes your beard itch?" Colette blinked a bit as she spoke to Jason. She then heard Cinkel mention about fixing a meal. "I'm looking forward on trying out your cooking, Cinkel." She said with a smile.

At the moment Lloyd mentioned Kratos, Emil nearly stopped where he was. At first he wasn't sure if it was the man himself, Yuan, and Tenebrae had spoken to before. His green eyes gaze over to Lloyd. "Um...Who's Kratos? Is he a friend of yours?" He asked. He recalled Yuan telling him not to mention Kratos to Lloyd or the others.

Jason nodded at Colette. "Aye, that it does. 'Tis tragic, if yeh ask me. Can't sleep then if I tried. Ach."
He stood up straight and faced Cinkel. "What do ya think I want fer dinner? Beef and beer for all, a-hah! Wait, we don' have time ta brew it! Of all the situations ta be in!"

"Naw, I haven't met 'em but I at least heard of 'em. They're also yer friends, right? Really 'preciate their efforts," Zaul replied, smiling.
Then as he started to follow along, his ear twitched at Schwarz letting slip a hint that they were...immortal? That was something of note...but he kinda had a feeling there was a little too much steam on the brothers now for that remark. So he decided to play dumb, a little.
"Now now, folks, ain't we jumpin' t' conclusions here? 'Immortal' could be a figure o' speech, y'know? Sounds like the sorta thin' oft'n mentioned alon'side true love." He shrugged, then continued, "But I wasn't aware there're immortal people in this world. I don't recall hearin' o' this Kratos or Yuan either..." His tone suggested he was interested in hearing more.

Hina waved her hand in front of her and smiled. "I will happily eay whatever you you cook. No requests." She looked at Jason and tilted her head at the mention of alcohol and gave a quiet sigh of relief when he said there was not enough to to brew some.

Cinkel nodded. "I'm looking forward to see what you think of my cooking, Ms. Colette."
He then turned his attention to Jason. "Hah, I should have guessed. Then for you, Jason, my hard iron steak lined with bacon." He gave a light laugh. "It's true we don't have time to brew your beer, but I'm sure I can provide you with what you wish. In limited quantities, of course."
Cinkel's glance moved to Hina. "Oh? No requests? Really now? It may seem nice, but I wish not to make anything you dislike. Please, give me some idea?" He smiled brightly at her.

"Hm?" Lloyd looked over towards Emil, looking kinda dumbfounded. "Oh, well. Kratos... he's my dad." He spoke kind of quiet and embarrassingly, but happy.
When Zaul gave his explanation of the usage of the word immortal, Lloyd got confused. "Wait, so Schwarz and Oro are in love?" He was too busy trying to figure this one out, so he missed the last bit of what Zaul said. Lloyd was not playing dumb.

"Now that soonds like a meal!" Jason nodded in approval. "Hard iron steak with an even harder drink sounds good! I met a guy who really loved 'is bacon once, but that be a story fer another time."
He wondered what "hard iron steak" meant. Even if it actually contained iron, he'd probably eat it...
"What, you ain't askin' fer anythin'? I'd request food for yeh! This man has some mean tastes, if me dwarf senses don' deceive me."

Hearing Lloyd, "That scraggly mutt can disappear into oblivion for all I care!" Oro snapped and trotted forward passed everyone.
"Erk... That's harsh bro..." Schwarz then placed a hand Lloyd's shoulder, "Uh, better not mention the 'L' word around him for a little while, I just opened up... a very strong, old wound." He then turned to Zaul, "Well it all depends how you define immortality, but yes we don't die by regular means... kinda closer to near invincibility. Though we only heal at slightly faster speed as you, and feel pain, so we need to care for our body to a certain extent."

When he heard Lloyd's response, Emil's green eyes widen with surprise. "He's your dad!?" He didn't even know that Kratos was Lloyd's father. The only thing he knew about Kratos was that he was an old friend of Yuan's. Of course he had that description that Lloyd's father might've had spikey hair and a face like an older version of Lloyd. He couldn't help but wonder if something had happened between him and Lloyd that Yuan didn't want the blonde male to mention him to the others, including Lloyd.
He would turn his attention to Zaul when he mentioned that he didn't recall hearing anything about Kratos or Yuan. "Yuan is the guardian of the World Tree, though I don't know too much about him." ^.^; He would then look to Schwarz. "Are you two something similar to Summon Spirits or Centurions?" He asked.

Hina waved her hands in front of her, a smile on her face. "Oh, no. I am fine with anything you will make, really. I'm not picky." She said, nodding and placing her hands back below her waist and in frong of her body. She did not want to impose, really, but she really was fine with any food.

Cinkel went over to the front desk for a second to talk to the innkeeper. Shortly afterwards, he returned to the group. "I got us beds in the downstairs room. The keep also said it was alright for me to cook our meal and for us to eat in there as long as we stayed off the beds with food." He let out a soft chuckle. "Today sure as been an interesting day. Anyway, I'll get started right away." With that, Cinkel went into the room.

"Oh, yeah. Kratos is my dad. Why do ask? Do you know him?" Lloyd blinked at Emil just as Schwarz spoke to him. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'll make sure not to say that word anymore."
Cleo just ignored the conversation behind her, though she did feel that Oro was upset. "Would it make you feel better, Oro, if you rode on my head or shoulders instead of me caring you? As long as your fur isn't too dirty, that is."

Schwarz shrugged his shoulders, "Bluntly put again, never looked into it." A true statement in itself, Schwarz had never even heard of a summon spirit or a centurion before tonight. And the thought of telling them that they are from the afterlife would most likely cause problems at this point. "By the way what is a centurion? Sounds similar to a sentry to me." sweatdrop
Oro looked back trying to keep a cool head, "Thank you for the offer Miss Cleo, but as of right now I think I'd prefer to walk on my own." He had nothing against the young maiden, but he didn't trust himself at the moment. He felt anger, sadness, and regret, a very dangerous combination for him he learned from Schwarz and the owl sister told him.

Hina nodded her head and bowed in thanks to Cinkel for going to make dinner for them. She then asked Colette, Cinkel, and Jason, "Your day was interesting, you say? Well, may you please tell me about it?" She tilted her head to her right shoulder as she finished, her hands still firmly clasped in front of her waist.
