Fu took a good look at the image before she even dared to comment. She wanted to be correct in what she thought about it. "I guess." She responded to the dress. Jun who was a mix of both her sisters leaned back in quiet this time. It was clear that he wasn't going to respond to this one, but he wasn't giving bad fed back at least. Mai on the other hand did respond to the woman's images of a dress. "You are much better at drawing it then you are at describing it." Mai said with a giggle.

Watching Fu warily, not unlike the tiger the girl was named for, Vera slowly nodded. Grudging allowance, was still depressing, but at least not outright dismissal and forbiddance*. Vera took a deep breath, taking a closer look at the sketch Fu seemed the least condescending and disapproving of. It wasn't Vera's favorite, but...some tweaks, and she's be happy with it. And hopefully, Baihu would, as well. That was all Vera could really hope for, she mused.
Plan in mind, now it was to buy fabric, since they would be MAKING the dress. Colors and patterns Vera would be willing to bow to Fu's wisdom in, the style was all she had REALLY cared about. Although she DID have some ideas in coloring as well. Glancing to the side as an act of nervousness, going to wait outside of the store for her fiancee, Vera blinked when she saw what looked like a human girl sitting alone on a bench. Putting on a small...and hopefully, nonthreatening, the girl seemed tired and world-worn...Vera sat down a few inches away from the girl. "Hello," she said, tone low and musical, calming and soothing to hear. Her ears were obvious, as well as the tattoo on the half-elf's back just over the collar to the simple black tee she was wearing. It hugged her slender figure, her tight breasts, and emphasized how lean and graceful the half-elf's form was. The dark jeans didn't help the image, although the white sneakers kind of ruined the supposed quiet elegance that Vera otherwise exuded, just from being elven.*made up word to mean an act of forbidding something XD sorry

Mai smiled as she walked with Vera. "I'll help you however I may. I'm sure Jun will help keep father away and Fu will help with sewing and making sure the colors work." The kimono clad cutie commented as Young too a look towards them. He seemed to relax noticing that they weren't trying dresses. "Have you thought about bridesmaids? You have a roommate right?" Mai continued. If they were going to make more dresses they may as well know now before anything else happened.

Vera blinked. "I haven't thought about that," she admitted, sounding sheepish. Nodding in answer to Mai's question, Vera turned back to the girl the half-elf had addressed. "What do you think I should do, for coloring?" she asked kindly, honestly curious what the other female would say.(oh gosh, pitifully short XD)

 The female looked surprised when she was approached and replied a bit quickliy. oh uh hi Kurai responded hehe you have to talk to people The female got a bit angry and turned away for a minute oh so now you want to talk i could change you back then another person approached and asked a question. When the female was asked about a color to use well um I would have to go with red probably... what is this for? the the female stop for a minute and thought for a minute um not to be rude but um... what are your names? then kurai thought to him ya know never came up with a name for you, hope they don't ask(dont worry i can work off of little sometimes, if its in bold its being said if it not then its in thought, some people get confused on that lol)

Nodding, as red made sense - lucky in China - Vera tilted her head to the side and blushed a bit. "It's for a...well, my...wedding. Oh, sorry... My name is Vera. You don't want to know my last name, it's too long," she stated quietly, turning with a hand to Mai. She figured the girl would want to introduce herself, being the overly friendly type, but was almost ready to do the introductions.
Looking back to the child, Vera's silver eyes were calm, accepting. "What about you?" she asked, curious and unaware of the problem behind her quiet question. However, Vera WAS aware of how odd it must seem, so quickly apologized. "Sorry, we're absolute strangers, you shouldn't have to tell us anything," the half elf stated with a small sheepish noise. The girl might hear a rustling noise, a brightly colored snout peeking out from behind Vera's shoulder to stare at the female with bright jewel-bright eyes. It was a dragon, of the Asian kind, albeit with a thinner snout and slightly rounder head. What about me?? it asked in a low growl, regarding Kurai/the girl with an oddly penetrating glance full of suspicion. Vera lay a hand on top of the snout, slender fingers neutral but firm. "And this is Gyar. He's sort of like a guard dog for me," Vera explained, smiling in gentle amusement as he growled and rolled a rebuking eye at the half-elf. She chuckled, turning to see if Baihu was done yet. Nope, so she turned back to the girl, still keeping her distance but at least slowly losing her nervousness.(So can i, but it can be frustrating at times. And it's also a small matter of pride; I'm known for my lengthy detailed replies. I try to have at least a decent paragraph for a minimum, preferably two...two PARAGRAPHS, not sentences! lol And thanks for the heads up, figured that out...kind of...maybe s: lol) (Oh, did you draw the pics yourself?)

 The female looked surprised oh you're getting married congratulations The female flew out with excitement then pulled back a bit oh sorry, I don't really get to see that many people get married so.. yea The female tried to quickly think of a name but to no avail then she heard about being strangers and she replied Hey were all strangers at some point right? Kurai became concerned You should tell her Then the female replied Are u sure? yes Then female replies with a sigh then changed into a male. The male stretches like he just got out of bed. Hi my name is Kurai I am a shape shifter... sorta only 3 things really and they all tend to have their own personality, I kinda had to say this mostly cause she doesn't have a name, that and you should probably know about who I am Kurai looked at Vera and waited expecting to get hit. (lol sorta I traced a picture then made a few changes then did the shading, sorry for late reply i was in dms and it when on longer then expected lol)

Vera blinked, a touch surprised...but not TOO terribly startled. She glanced at Gyar, and they shared a blink before turning back to Kurai. Taking a deep breath, Vera gained a stern expression, but her tone was calm and merely stating her opinion. "Well, you should let her find a name for herself, shouldn't you?" she asked, sounding rather mild. Then Vera chuckled, shaking her head. "Well, nice to meet you Kurai, and others... Like I mentioned before, my name is Vera. Vera Silversoul-of-the-Winds. I'm half elf, half dragon," she told him/her/them back, being courteous. Vera WAS a touch curious about how it worked out, since she had magical theory and whatnot under her belt, as well as various extra talents she'd been able to unleash, but... It was none of her business. "I only know one other person who can change shape, so it's extra nice to meet you...!" Vera stated in a cheerful tone, nodding to emphasize her point as she patted Kurai's head. She saw a flinching around his eyes, and took her hand back. "Oh, sorry about that...I keep forgetting not everyone have the same greetings. You would think, five years in this part of the world and I could figure that out," she degraded herself, trying to joke and get Kurai to smile or something.(DM's?)

Mai smiled at the newcomer. Her smiles were always old looking and weird anyways. "I'm Mai and this is my older sister and younger brother, Fu and Jun. They wont talk much. Fu is stuck up and Jun is shy." The girl commented before being struck by her sisters hand. "You should learn to bite your tongue." Fu responded to her sisters comment about her being stuck up.

Kurai chuckled a little bit We have been trying to find a name for her but she doesnt seem to take a liking to anything, if it come down to it I'll just have to call her hime The female got a bit angry you wouldnt dear Kurai couldnt help but laugh Relax im only teasing you, call it pay back for forcing me to change The female was not amused. Kurai couldn't help but react Half dragon? Thats pretty cool Kurai was also a bit surprised to hear that their was another who could change shape Really? someone else around her can shape shift? I kinda new around here so haven't really met many people, that and never really stuck around in one place for to long due to... issues After Vera patted him on the head and Kurai eyes had flinched he started to blush a little so try to hide it a bit Its alright it just tends to twitch a little when im nervous Kurai chuckled a bit his face turned back to normal Im just glad you didn't do it when my ears were out, every once in awhile if I hear a loud crash wolf ears will pop out so I can figure where it came from Kurai looked over to Mai and held out his hand to shake Its was nice to meet you to Mai, Fu, Jun, I take it that you are the ones helping out with the dresses and such for this wedding The female got angry Why will you talk to them about marriage but not me Kurai let out a small sigh Will talk later Kurai had kinda chuckled You know I may have been unconscious for a while and things have changed a bit but I think it still a bit rude to hit your family(dms = dead man shadows, in zomg, went on for like 5 hours)

The half-elf shrugged with a small shy smile. She hadn't ever really heard it described as 'cool', before, her genetics. Wolf ears? Interesting. Vera nodded in agreement. "I know, I don't like loud noises either," she commented aloud, pointing to her own obviously sensitive ears. Watching the interaction between Fu and Mai with a small frown, Vera turned back to Kurai and shook her head. "It is, but Fu is, well....really really really old. Way before our time," she explained, tone mild but expression disapproving. What could she do? All the kids were older than her, just like their father; she was a baby compared to them, and expected to be their official parent? It just wouldn't...really, COULDN'T...work. Yet, Vera was still going to try. Even knowing she'd most likely fail. The half-elf sighed at her thoughts, eyes closed for a moment before opening them again to keep her attention on Kurai. "You think I'm cool, but I think you're cool too." Vera smiled. "I grew up among dragons, so I don't find it all that extraordinary, to be part dragon...in fact, a lot of them looked down on me," Vera stated, rubbing the back of her head with remembered embarrassment. Her cheeks even flushed a very delicate shade of pale pink. But Vera shrugged it away, no longer as shy and easily saddened as she used to be. Still kind of shy, unless nervous and needing to talk to someone...especially without Ryuu and/or Greator there...but at least Vera had gotten better after five years. "You grew up being a shapeshifter, so you're not impressed by it, and I grew up among dragons so I'm not impressed by my self." Vera smiled, laughter in her eyes at the very truthful, yet still somewhat amusing, philosophical observation.(ah. was it fun? and if Kurai thinks just HEARING about Vera being half-dragon is amazing, he should see what she can do... XD)

Jun noticed the movements of Vera's face. He was good at reading people. His father didn't know anything about what he really could do. Because of his quiet nature he was the type to notice things an recognize people by their expressions. He did the same with his siblings and his mother. The man slipped away from the group and went to into the shop trying to find his father. Fu noticed her brother's actions, but didn't stop him. "I'm not that old." The woman responded. It wasn't like she was her father old.

Gyar's head followed Jun's path back into the store, one scaly eyebrow raised before he slid back down to become a tattoo again on Vera's back. The cloth stayed the same, as if nothing had happened, since once he got to a certain point the guardian dragon in ink form went back to being a static tattoo...cept he could and WOULD move across Vera's body, on occasion, if needed. Vera tilted her hand from side to side as she looked over her shoulder at Fu. "Depends on perspective. To normal people you'd be ancient, to me you're an elder, and I'm a mere baby or child to all of you. That indicates that you're quite old enough to call old. To you it might not seem it, since you have an older brother, and your father's much older than you both...but past a certain point, old is old." Vera shrugged, to her age didn't make a real difference, since she was away of the different perceptions in regards to such things. To humans, SHE would be seen as old, since Vera still looked like a young teenager yet had many more years behind her. Kind of. She didn't know HOW old she really was, just had had her conscious time with the dragons. But even then, Time wasn't really an important concept for her, even when the other dragons were disparaging towards the "little baby of a whelp". So with that slip in Time, and her growing rates, Vera was quite aware that old was old, young was young, just HOW much depending on where on the line you were.(...)

Jun walked over to his father who was trying on a suit. The man had chosen a black suit with a white shirt and a red vest and tie. He wanted to had some red in it. "Father I request that you break off your engagement with Vera." Jun told his father as the older tiger looked at himself in the mirror. He nearly jumped at what his son said. "Well Jun it's not as simple as that." The man told his youngest child. "It's an arranged marriage. Only Azure can really break our marriage." The man said pushing it off on his friend. "Yes but you also need to break it off with her as well." The young tiger pointed out. "Do you really want Vera to be forced to marry someone like you. You're older and arrange marriages are uncool. It's clear that you love her, but how do I know she returns her feelings? Whistle for him. I'll talk to him." Baihu knew his son's words were true and let out a low whistle for his friend. He was sure there was going to a huge spike in energy soon. He then turned away and headed to the dressing room to remove his close. He was sure that by the time he came out that Azure would be talking with Jun. Azure appeared in a snap. The man cracked he cracked his neck. "Jun where is your father." The young tiger closed his mouth shut. He was too shy to say anything to the man. The curtain was pulled back as Baihu stepped back out. "If you're going to complain about something you could at least tell him." The man mumbled as he stepped for forward. "He has issues with me marrying Vera. He thinks that the only reason that she is marrying me is because it was arranged and I agree that I wouldn't want her to marry me if she doesn't want me to." Baihu's were honest. He didn't want to pressure Vera to marry him if she didn't want to. There was a lot of pressure to marry him and he wasn't that type. Azure too in Baihu's words. "I never had anything to fear about you ever betraying me because you are from the same creation as me." Azure agreed to at least that much. "I will allow Vera two pick her own destiny. They man let out a dragon growl that words could only be picked out by another dragon. He was calling for his daughter.

Kurai chuckled nervously at the sound of "growing up as a shape shifter" Well I think you can tell that I don't really get out that much so I don't really know that many people so even the smallest of things seem cool to me, that and I've always that an interest in dragonsthen kinda look a bit saddened afterwards and at least you could remember your times with friends and family, mine got a bit complicated... all I can remember that I woke up about 5 years ago in the middle of nowhere not knowing anything... don't remember parents if i had siblings heck I don't even know my age Kurai laughed a little Literally the only thing that I had with me was a letter saying it was time to start my life Kurai looked down at the floor kinda staring off into space, after a few seconds he came back to and shaked his head Im... sorry... I'm sure you don't want to hear me ramble on about this Kurai laughed a bit then and heard about the old and young issue and decided to put in an input Well labeling yourself as old or young is a bit rude and in my opinion kinda silly, The way I see it if you're considered an elder then I will give respect till you lose it, If you're young your learning, since I cant really figure out my age and i basically have to start for the beginning, so age wise I'm 5 years old, I base age on experience not how old you look Kurai then feels a bit worried about blurting out Sorry thats just the way I see it Kurai said as he sat down on the bench then the female started talking to him Why did you bring that up? Kurai had just remained silent till he was spoken to again we ARE talking later(lol yes it was, can't wait to see what she can do lol and sorry was out and about so i had to give a slow reply)
