"s**t!" They'd defeated his pokemon, but that Growlithe was going to make off with their orb, the key they needed to complete the mission. The immediate danger seemed to have settled, and so Lucas moved away from his self-assigned charges, pulling a small firearm of his own design from his person. As reluctant as he was to level the barrel on a human face, he had no remorse in doing so against a pokemon. The sights aligned, and the gun discharged.

It felt like it was a short heard around the world, and Kofuku froze, almost afraid to turn around to see who'd been shot. In what felt like slow motion, she turned her gaze over the remaining key players, and spoted a certain female Elite with a gun raised and it was Will who'd cried out. Her heart hammered against her chest and her windpipes closed up as tears bit at the back of her eyes as she watched the man that had once been her friend collapse.
Movement of a Growlith running towards the exit caught the girl's eyes as she remembered a short time ago meeting that very same pokemon... that day felt like light years away from the present. Even through the tears welling in her eyes, she could see it was carrying something. "It's got the orb..... GET THE GROWLITHE!"
Taking a deep breath and swollowing her tears, she clamored to her feet and started swinging her makeshift weapon, her legs wobbling a little as she took off after the puppy pokemon: she had a job to do. Self pitty and loathing could come later.

When the Charizard fell, Nyx cried out in glee and, without thinking, hugged Mau. She was getting her revenge! She hated Will, and it was terrible that he was actually Lance, but it meant she got to see him defeated. "We did it!"
She didn't notice the gun that Nadja had pulled out, but the resounding bang from it being fired caused her to tighten her grip on Mau reflexively.

The hug had totally surprised him, and it wasn't until the shot that rang out and startled Mau that his attention returned to what was at hand. He stared at Nadja. His eyes shifted between Nadja and Lance, or where he should have been. He could faintly hear the man say something. "Nuu... NUU! Go after the growlith!"

As soon as the two elites moved towards Lance she was at full attention, and saw the sliver of glinting metal in Nadja's hand before the shot rang out and Lance fell. But then... the Growlithe started running with the orb. At the same time she saw Lucas move forward and raise his own weapon - the fact he'd brought a gun with him didn't surprise her in the slightest, considering his current and previous occupations - and held her breath slightly as she waited to see if they could catch it. Or kill it, either one. Either way she was too far to be of any use, especially with all her pokemon out of commission.

Faleen jerked in surprise when the shot rang out, the noise taking her completely by surprise.
She didn't even look away though when Lance suddenly fell... clearly hit.
Her mind went blank,Idiot... Idiot this was his fault, he was an idiot!
This was his fault.
Komashi made a run for it... and she was holding the orb.
Rocket Still needed that orb.
"Komashi!" she called. DAMN IT why did she give it to him.

The sudden gun shot made Isadora jump in shock, and the next thing she knew, several of the Rockets were dashing towards a small Growlithe with... the orb! It had the orb in its mouth! A look of determination now on her face, Isadora followed them, wanting to help in any way she could. She had no clue who was just shot or what at all happened, her focus was now completely on the orb and the retrieval of it.

A tear-streaked face peeked out from the behind which Liam had been clutching Agni tight.
"Hey, uh... wh-what happened... you guys?"
But everyone had already started running in the other direction, after another Growlithe. He sniffed and screwed his face into a a glare before leaving AGni where she lay and running after the group.
"DON'T YOU DARE HURT THAT GROWLITHE!" he yelled while running behind them.

Irritation flashed across Nadja's features and she hissed as her arm was grabbed and the shot missed its intended target. As Lance fell out of sight, she turned a look on Seth. "No," she said matter-of-factly, as if he'd asked her to do something as ludicrous as dance on a table.

Seth wasn't taking No for an answer.
"Dammit Nadja! I don't know what the hell happened between you and Lance, but get ahold of yourself! That man is worth more to us alive than dead. If you kill him, Lucere will have your head!" Seth honestly couldn't care if Lance lived or died... but he DID care what happened to Nadja as a result of what happened to Lance.
"KOFUKU!" Seth then shouted at the medic as she ran by. "Make sure that damn traitor doesn't die."
It was then that he noticed the Growlithe with the orb in its mouth. The fire dog running from its pursuers and somehow managing to run fast enough to dodge the bullets. However, Komashi found her exit blocked and had to turn and run back the other way... darting past legs and arms that were trying to grab her. She then skidded to a stop on the shore... the Growlithe's eyes going wide as the orb in her mouth started to glow.
Then... the orb suddenly disappeared as if being absorbed into the Growlithe's body. "Grrrrrr.... OWL!" The small Pokemon suddenly roared. Her eyes snapping open as they glowed blue... while strange glowing blue patterns appeared on her body.
A sudden earthquake then shook the cave, a roar raising from the waters and echoing through the chamber. A good man had fallen, wicked humans had invaded its territory, and an innocent Pokemon was being harassed. Kyogre had arrived, and it was pissed.

Fires were shot after Komashi, and other Rockets ran after her.
Faleen knew the Growlithe, but she was certainly that knowing the Growlithe would not get her anywhere in recalling or trying to coax the pokemon back to her.
The Growlithe hadn't like her. It kind of made sense now.
Eventually she got her feet moving, knowing she couldn't just stand there, she had to help catch Komashi.
after a few paces she did stop, glancing up to the ledge where Lance was laying, shot.
"... YOU'RE AND IDIOT WILL!" She called up to him, even though she couldn't see him.
"I hope you know that" Betraying them, get himself killed... get his pokemon killed.
she looked away, before hurrying off with the rest to find the orb.
She had to stumble into catching her footing when there was a sudden rumble int he cave.
Blinking sharply, and looking up, wondering what the heck that was...
It worried her though, enough to quickly go into her bag, pulling out a couple of her revives and potions.
Using the items on her Sharpedo, and Absol. Before pushing herself back to her feet, and moving forward again, frowning.

This mission had officially gone FUBAR Alexander decided. The traitor was shot, the Growlithe had the orb and now to top it all off, there was an earthquake! He held on to the closest rock formation to keep standing and when he looked over at the lake he could see the waves crashing violently. All he could hope was no one would die from this mission whether they be Rocket, traitor or pokemon.

The pink-haired grunt skidded to a halt when her name was belted out by Seth, and immediately she turned to him with wide eyes and a guilty expression. She didn't know what she did wrong, but he never called her out. It wasn't until he spoke his next statement that she relaxed a little, realizing that she was beings singled out for medical reasons.
"Yes sir!" She responded, saluting to him and then making her way up the ledge to where she was needed. Of course, once she was standing over Will/Lance, all that anger and hurt came back in a stronger blow than before. Willing her eyes not to water up, Kofuku opened up the pouch of medic supplies on her right hip and started pulling out objects that she would need in order to remove clothing and do her job, purposefully keeping her gaze away from the traitor's face as she worked in bitter silence.
That silence didn't last too long as the whole cavern shook and the Kyogre rose up from the water. "Oh balls..." Kofuku whispered, staring at the giant pokemon with wide eyes.

As people ran around chasing the Growlithe, and it suddenly stopped... and glowed... and... oh s**t. Oh s**t. Did it summon Kyogre? What was going on? Why was it glowing, and what were those markings on it? She couldn't see the giant leviathan anywhere yet, so... What the hell was going on?
Well there was at least one thing they all needed to do, and that was revive at least a few of their pokemon. With this in mind Claire pulled the bag off her back and dug through it. Finding the first aid kit she pulled out two potions, then unclipped two balls from her belt. She released Odette and Zeus, the pair still unconscious, before administering the medicine to revive them. As the pair started coming around she tossed the first aid kit and spent potions into her bag and hefted it back onto her back. She would definitely need them both to fight Kyogre.

Nyx let go of Mau quickly when the caves shook and a loud roar filled the air. "... Damn." Their victory was short lived, Kyogre had shown up, and they weren't at all ready. The Scientist grabbed her pack from her back and dug around for her full restore and revive, scrambling to revive her pokemon quickly before the giant fish simply ate the all but defenseless Rockets.
Maxwell took a defensive position in front of Nyx, preparing to protect her trainer, even from a giant legendary whale. Rock type or no, Nyx was her responsibility. "Gron."
The Steel Armor pokemon would at least be able to handle things until Nyx finished reviving Tesla and Darwin, which she was currently in the process of doing.
