 saix starts to oddly giggle again uncontrolably as he watch's jaclyn get attacked with a face licking, " if only" he remarks to her comment befor turning to claire who seems a bit down

Claire looked at Saix, plastered a smile and asked “if only what?” Claire then began to get off Noctis`s lap not want Jaclyn to think she`s trying to suduce him or something, now that she was wakeing up.

Noctis knew exactly why Claire was getting up off his lap, and he dare not complain. Not that he wanted to. The last thing he needed was more accusations. Especially in the face of Jaclyn, someone who judged him hardcore. He stood up and raised his arms, stretching them and his legs. He had grown alittle tense over the course of time."I like you..." He commented to Claire's previous statement."Doesn't that outlaw Jaclyn's dislike...?"

Saix ment, If only, in reply to the animal named cara, would listen and stop as told, suddenly, Saix pause's and tilits his head oddly Saix finds it funny he says sounding a bit confused as to how and why it seems 'funny' to him saix then looks towards jaclyn who was still getting licked a few times but not as much even after she told cara to stop...

Noctis stared, puzzled. He wouldn't asked why she'd pulled away so fast, and he was curious as to what exactly she was about to say. But he left it alone. He didn't want to be the one to pry and have a fit over things too much."She may seem ignorant, but Cara is a sweetheart." He commented... oddly. Even Noctis knew the words didn't fit on his tongue."sweetheart", oddly enough, he wanted to be able to say that word more often. It was so foreign to him.

 ClaireClaire nodded and said "I'm sure she is but I just can't like her even if she meant to play with patches, I just can't help but dislike her...Patches is all I have he keeps me safe." Noctis eyed Claire-and Patches. His pale blue eyes registering how the Claire's soft voice, and Patches continuous spoil in attention created a motherly aura. One Noctis never got when he was growing up. Which made him jealous of the animal for no particular reason. His glance drifted to the ground in sorrow induced thought as he subtly frowned."I'm jealous of a patched rabbit. I obviously need help." He thought bitterly to himself."And Cara's the spoiled one."He teased quietly.

Claire smiled and looked over to Noctis "No because he earned it, I try not to unnecessary spoil others." Claire's smiled faltered when she noticed how sad he looked then set Patches on the ground and gave Noctis a hug as she asked "whats wrong? if you need something I'm here."

Claire smiled as she said "good, because if you weren't fine I'd annoy you until I find out why." Claire then let go of him and began to walk backward toward Patches so she could face him as she said "but if you ever do need anything, no matter how large or small keep in mind i'm right here." Claire sat by Patches and pulled out a cookie for him to munch on

Jaclyn got up. It was clear that he favored the other girls company over the blond's. No one liked a girl like her. That's why it was just better to hope for an arranged marriage most of the time. "Excuse me I'm going to leave. I think that the dance will be starting soon." The witch got up and left.

Noctis glanced down at Claire and pursed his lips. He disagreed wholeheartedly. It was neither of their faults. Noct just needed to express more emotion to Jaclyn, and he planned to do that.
