James smiled, "I overreacted, I'm an idiot." he looked at Shayla, "She hasn't hurt you, has she?" he remembered their time together, she was a bit rowdy.

Shadow giggled and shook his head, "No, in fact, she is sweet and wonderful. Not to mention very sexy. She's a very nice and great girl. It's alright that you overreacted, I don't blame you." He said with a warm smile, his tail swaying back and forth.

James chuckled, "Well, I'm glad you guys like each other..." he looked at his watch, "I have to get to the base so we can ship out..." he sighed, then looked at Shadow, "Please, don't get hurt anymore... I'm coming back, just stay with Shayla and Matt. They'll keep you company."
He hugged him and then said, "I'll leave you something, just in case you wanna see me again." he whispered. He left, tears starting to come back as he did.
Matt and Shayla said bye and walked over to Shadow. "So, how long are we going to be in here?" Shayla asked, grinning.

Shadow shrugged and murred softly, "Doctors said it will take a mouth, but I will make a full recovery by then." He said with a wide smile, his tail swaying softly as he sat up and gave Shayla a kiss on the lips, cuddling into her softly as he could, as his arms were in casts.

Shayla pat his head softly, "Well, good. 'Cause I hate hospitals." she told him.
Matt sat down and yawned, "So, I'm still babysitter for you guys, huh?" he asked jokingly.
Shayla rolled her eyes, then said, "Yeah, we're thirsty. Go get something to drink."
Matt shrugged, "Cool, I'll go hit on a nurse while I'm at it."

Shadow giggled and kissed and licked her cheek, "Me too, but apparently this world still wants me to be here, and I'm happy to take the offer." He said with a cuddle and a murr, his tail swaying left and right, letting out a yawn and murring, "You want to sleep with me in the hospital bed for the night? I'm sure the doctors won't care." He asked with a cute look.

Shayla giggled, "Sure, is it big enough?" she asked, then she got a text, "Hm, Matt's not coming back, he said he got busy..." she laughed, "Guess he got lucky."

Shayla laid next to him and made sure she didn't hurt him, and she cuddled back, she sighed and kissed him.

Shadow smiled warmly at her and kissed her back, whispering into her ear, "I-I love you so much, Shayla... Now that James and I have made up our differences, we can be together without hiding. You're such a sweet girl. Hey... I've got... a favor to ask you... This might be a little... devious. Do... you wanna... give me a... I think you know what I'm getting at." He said with a murr, giggling softly as he gave her a little smirk, his tail swaying back and forth.

Shayla looked at him, and smirked, "Ooh, it's bad luck to get AIDS in a hospital..." he joked, "But if you want to..." she went to the door and closed it, and closed the curtains around him.
