"You deserved it." Some how he was more than a little annoyed that Sasuke would try so hard to make Naruto feel better, even if he was being an a**. Sighing, he followed Sasuke out. "They surrounded us. I couldn't split."

"Surrounded us?" Sasuke furrowed his brows. "There were police surrounding my apartment? Naruto didn't even know you were here at first... how did they?"

Seeing that the younger Uchiha wasn't amused the smile slipped off Naruto's face and he fidgetted, "I was worried about you Sasuke... I mean I figured with the prospect of immediant arrest looming over him, Itachi might do something drastic and hurt you in order to distract me so he could get away."

Damn that Cuervo, he was stabbing Naruto's brain with his lime and salt shaker of doom! That or he was having an anyerism, whichever it didn't really matter. "I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear you say that, now please get in the car so we can go." He somehow managed to keep himself from shooting a death glare at Itachi, "If he's innocent, then he has nothing to worry about, right?"

"Right." Except now he had a crazy child molesting overly pale man trying to make him look as guilty as sin. "Minus Orochimaru's influence. Bah. I'm sure he's paying the officials as we speak... We're not going to the police station." Itachi froze, realization slowly dawning on him.

Itachi frowned, "No. Don't worry about it, Sasuke. Besides, I want you to go and make sure Deidara and Sasori are safe, that Orochimaru hasn't hurt them as well. Take me in. It isn't worth risking your job."
