It's fine I'm trying to figure that out as well. I say as I place a bale of straw on each shoulder, move to the side, find a clear spot on ground where I won't hit Iyasu when I land, step up to the edge.

Iyasu nodded, "I see . . . Kibakichi-san? May I offer you any help?" She looked up and smiled to him standing off to the side above her, "I hate standing here like a useless log, while you're doing all of the work."

I lowered myself the muscles in my legs and my core(lower back, abs, and obliques...I think) coiling, tightening up, preparing to jump. I spring off of the loft and fall towards the ground. I hit the ground with a thud, my legs coiled up underneath me. A snapping sound could also be heard as the impact broke the bounds that held the bales together, I let bales fall from my shoulders as I slowly rose up I turned to Iyasu and said. Yes there is, could you go up into the loft, and throw 4 or 5 bales of straw down here please. I began dumping the straw the stalls. (It's fine. I understand.)

She nodded and headed up the ladder without too much difficulty. She was careful too make sure that, as a geisha, to seamlessly climb up the ladder. It worked for the most part. Upon reaching the top she looked over the bales of hay and heistated for a moment. The thought of vermin came to her mind as she stepped foward to a bale of hay.

"Four or five you wish?" Her voice was a little edgey.

After finishing with bales I had brought down, I come out of stall hearing the quiver in her voice. I look up at her and say. Hai dozo. Don't worry I doubt are any vermin up there. Now please toss them down one at time so get some practice. Oh Amaya-san told me before she left that you have your ownsteed and wanted to keep it here, is this true?

"All right . . ." She responded as she grabbed a bundle and tossed it over, then proceed to repeat until the goal of five was reached.

"Amaya-san spoke to you about me having a steed?" She walked over to the loft's edge and took a seat. She crossed her legs at her ankles and looked down, "I thought about bringing him here when Amaya-san was here."

I watched the bales fall to the ground, I pick them up 2 at a time, rip off the straps and and lay them out in the stalls. Afther finishing that I walked back into Iyasu's view, and look up at her. She mentioned it, she also said the fee for boarding is 500 yen per month. Now do you help me brush the horses?

"I know of the costs involved. I will speak with my family about it later." Iyasu stood up from her balcony seat and swiftly walked over the ladder. As she was climbing down, she miss placed her foot and lost her balance. She lost her grip along the ladder's sides and fell backwards.

Uh-oh. I got you! I bolt forward with my arms outstretched. I turned to the side when I got to the ladder, planted my feet, shoulder-length apart, and lowered my center of gravity. About a second later Iyasu fell into my arms all the muscles in legs, shoulders and core flexed as she landed, the nook of her legs over my right forearm, her shoulders and upper back on my left forearm. I look down at her and say. Are you alright Iyasu-san?

As she fell, she did not let out a sound, except for when she landed into the ronin's arms. Her braid had come loose during the tumble. She looked up to him and nodded quietly.

"Arigato, Kibakichi-san . . ."

I set her down on her feet. I take a step back and cross my arms across my chest. Your welcome. It was nothing, and it'll be very hard to teach you how to ride if you severely hurt yourself.

"I know how to ride . . . I just need a refresher course." She replied braided her and made it into a bun. "I used to ride horses every day until I left to become a geisha . . ."

What did you do before you leave to become a geisha, if you don't me asking.

"I used to be a student, working part time under my father with horses." Iyasu looked to him, "Why do you ask?"
