'You might belong in Gryffindor, Where dwell the brave at heart, Their daring, nerve, and chivalry Set Gryffindors apart;' . Thinking . . Speaking . . Action .
Day two: Sunman seems to be getting along alright. No strange things have happened. He was very lively today. Maybe it had something to do with the sun? Or maybe it had something to do with my lack of attempting to touch him. I don't think he likes me very much... His appetite is the same. But, he looks alright.
Day Three: Sunman let me take him out today! He didn't quirm, he didn't try to get out of my hand, he just let me take him out! It was quite a change of attitude. He curled up in my hand, then crawled up my arm, and he crawled on the desk! Of course, I put him back as soon as he would let me, but it made me feel better! He ate alright today, just like normal. Everything else was just normal too.
Day Four:
Today was just strange in general. Sunman was strangely quiet. He didn't move around in his jar alot, but he did eat plenty. I don't know why. He slept alot today. Maybe he just had a big day yesterday? Who knows. I guess I'll see if he's okay tomorrow.
Day Four, Part Two: Sunman woke up, and he started running around like a crazy man. I think that he just needed to sleep a little longer, that's all. He's perfectly normal now.
||Sorry! I've been awfully busy! It shouldn't be too terrible in the next few days though. I will most likely get to post atleast once every day for a while...||

Day 4: Meiko began to write her activities again in her journal as she was beside her Flynn in his jar: "Well, Flynn is still on his same diet and poo time, which is about early morning and twilight time. I noticed that he had gotten from magenta, to a maroon-like shade of his scales. I guess that's normal, and yeah, he did get a bit larger."

Day Five: Legolas is really sweet now. he curled up on my bed next to me for a while last night while I did my homework. He seems to be continuing at the same growth pace as before and is eating the same amount of food as past days. Not much has changed just his personality is settling in.

Day Five Xena and Xander have picked up a habit of trying to set my quills on fire while I'm doing my homework. Here they are, trying to do it now. It's almost like a sort of game. If I wasn't a witch that could put it out immediately, it would be quite a nuisance. I, as usual, think they're funny though. They're great friends; I might have to ask Professor Kalle if I can keep Xena. I don't think I could pull the two apart now, even if I tried.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Day Six
Pipi is STILL the same size, but his stomach has shirnked (Intentionally spelled that way because Antoinette cannot spell). And to be honest, he's prettier than the other salamanders. He color used to be forest green, but then a few days, later it was a jungle green, and now he's a moss green! One of the prettier shades of green, you know. Diet and behavior are the same. Well, I accidentélé knocked over his jar of food. Half of it, on the dirty floor. So of course, I through it away. His diet is still in effect, though his once a day meal portion has been cut in half, but like it matters. You can never be too skinny.

Day Six: I took Eclipse outside again today. He did a flip. And I'm not even kidding. It was awesome. So, I gave him a mountian of blueberries as a reward, but he's still pretty skinny. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Day cinco Romulus is better and better everyday, he is pretty big now and very colorful, he now prefers beetles instead of grasshoppers, which i find utterly disturbing. he loves to play and for the time that i have had him he has only once spit out milk, thank god.
Day seis Well Romulus is improving his brain skills, he can now go through a two minute maze in 30 seconds, which i'm more than proud of. He loves beetles and spiders and i hate beetles and spiders so i hate his diet. I have started to feed him 1 1/2 a day because he is getting bigger.

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker
Day Six: Legolas is starting to develop some smarts. He almost snuck into my food sack once when he was out of his jar. Sneaky little guy. He is still sweet as ever and still growing I wonder when the growing stops because he is getting quite big. He hasn't spit out any of the milk like you have said.

Day five:
Sunman is just.... normal, I guess. He likes being out of the jar now and then, and we play around when he does that. He likes to roll up a lot I've noticed. But other than that, everything seems normal. He eats like there is no tomorrow too. It's probably because we play a lot when I have time between homework and such.
Day six:
He's fine. Again. His eating is normal today, and he is active. Sunman likes to crawl on the desk, I've noticed. He crawls on it and he will crawl all over my hand. He wasn't quite as active today, but it wasn't a great day. Cloudy and all...

Eriena Emm – Gryffindor – 5th year (( Gah! Sorry! Been having too much fun in the Valentines forum! ))
Day the Fourth:
Blank
Day the Fifth:
Completely forgot about Jem for a day. As a result, she spewed milk everywhere in a rage and I had to clean it all up wearing my dragonhide gloves. Sorry man, I got distracted with friends at Hogsmeade.
Day the Sixth:
Made up for forgetting Jem by giving her extra flies and crickets to eat today. She seemed to forgive me, so hopefully we won't have another fiasco like that. I hope this won't affect my grade too much...

Lena
Lena sighed with relief, glad that Zoro was alright. It was normal that spots of darker colour had appeared on his back. Alright. Thanks, Professor!
Each day, Lena brought Zoro outside and wrote down notes about his appearance, behaviour, diet..
My sixth-legged salamander-Journal
Day four
Zoro has again grown one centimetre in length (is now 22,5 centimetre long), and one centimetre in width (is now 8,5 centimetres wide). His weight is still the same and he ate about the same amount of food (leaves, bugs) as yesterday. No change in colouring, sleep and energy. He seems very comfortable in his home (jar with a bit of soil and leaves). He isn’t at all scared of me anymore. When I bring him outside, he stays very close to me, runs around me and sometimes he even climbs on my feet.
Day five
Zoro’s grown 0.5 centimetre in length (is now 23 centimetres long), no change in width. No changes in weight, diet, appearance or behaviour either.
Day six
Zoro has grown one centimetre in length(is now 24 centimetres long) and 0.5 centimetre in width (is now 9 centimetres wide). He ate a few more bugs then yesterday but hasn’t yet gained any weight. The spots on his back have gotten a bit darker so no problems there (Professor Kalle said it was a problem if the colours lightened a lot). Zoro sleeps about the same amount as yesterday and has the same amount of energy.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year Day Seven
Pipi is SOOOO behaved. He bearly moves, all day. Not to mention, he's pretty. Prettier than Justin Bieber. He's thin, moss green, quite well-mannered, and extremely placid! He's a freakin dream boat. For a salamander. (If only he had hair...)
I must say, I've done a good job of raising this salamander. I'm going to be a great parent.

Day five: ~Narlambe is growing more and continues to have a fairly regular diet. ~Less likely to bite me (Scars are finally going away!)
Day six: ~He has FINALLY STOPPED TRYING TO ESCAPE. (Maybe he's more comfortable? Yay!) ~Seems pretty happy and healthy. (Reg diet, sleeping habits, etc...)

((Pretty busy right now, sorry!))
Day Five: My little one has grown a bit again, but I'm still worried: She hasn't really been coming out of her sleeping quarters.
Day Six: No improvement
Day Seven: I'm too afraid to take Laitae out of her jar...and the food I left her is untouched, for once. I'm about to burst into tears. Even Pepper, my kitten, seems to be worried for he used to purr in the presence of the little creature, but lately, he's been only staring at the jar.

Day Six Xena's picking up a lot of Xander's habits now. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm really interested in the fact that she adapted so well...perhaps she could sense my good intentions. Or maybe Xander told her. I grew up learning about "muggle animals" if you will...I still have a lot to learn about the creatures solely in the animal world.
Day Seven It's been a very good week. Xena completely came out of her shell, and made a new friend. Xander seems a lot happier, now that he has another salamander to relate with. Their colours have brightened, and the blue and pink of their skin together makes them look like cotton candy. Both eat fine, and are full of energy. I really enjoyed observing them in this light. I hope Antionette's is still alive.
