Rissa's eyes widened when she realized her mistaken sense of gladness was misplaced. “I'm sorry Takeshi... I... I can't imagine losing that much of my family at one time.” She said softly, crossing her arms over her chest and shaking her head a bit. She glanced over at Cruxis, who was offering to be of assistance to Takeshi however possible. “I may not be good at fighting... But I can keep you two pieced together rather well.” Her smile was shy. The last time she had tried to start or join a team, the only other member had vanished from sight... She was joining this possible team would not be a repeat.

Suddenly Cruxis collapsed, and she went to her knees beside him. Cruxis! Was he okay..? She got her answer soon enough, when the young man stood up, Rissa standing with him. He cast some sort of jutsu, before explaining to them about his eyes, her own widening in awe. “So... You saw something...?” Rissa asked, the jutsu Cruxis had activated gone now. And to think she had wanted to go training... She knew now that she may not get the chance to do so. “Should we... Go help? Or is there help needed..?” Rissa asked, watching the two with those soft eyes of hers, that seemed to watch out for everyone but herself. Her hand was resting on the med kit at her hip, something that was sure to become a habit for her in the days to come. It was her main purpose after all, to heal and bandage and chase away damages.

Takeshi looked over and noticed that what he'd mentioned had changed the mood in the area quiet a bit. He never intended on doing so, but also he didn't want the false minor praise for something that they didn't know the full story to. One thing he noticed though was that both Cruxis and Rissa made the offer to help him as much as they could. It was a nice thought but he knew that it might not be as simple as everyone thought. Before he could say anything though, he watched as Cruxis collapsed right before him and Rissa. He didn't know what was going on so he quickly created a bone sword from his shoulder and held it in his left hand. If it was an attack he'd be ready. This collapsing though seemed to be not from an attack as Cruxis soon got up with the help of Rissa, so he placed the tip of the bone sword on his shoulder and forced it back into his shoulder. Moving closer to Cruxis, he was starting to wonder exactly what happened. Then Cruxis explained what had happened, while putting up some sort of jutsu as well. It seemed that Cruxis had the ability to have glimpses of times that were not the present. All and all it seemed like he thought it was just a jumbled mess and not sure what to do about it. Rissa seemed worried, he only thought this though because her hand was on her med kit. Looking over to Cruxis, he pondered for a second and then knew what he was going to ask. "So... what happens next?"

Cruxis had not intended to worry them; although all things considered, seeing a friend suddenly collapse due to an uncontrolled vision would probably have worried anyone. The truth of the matter was he could take guesses as to what the vision meant; but could not tell if it was in the past, present, or future. He had a few clues as to the event though. They were nearing noon and there were elongated shadows in the visions he was able to see. It was likely not a vision of anything present. The dim lighting could have been indoors, twilight, or evening under a torch. The crucial lost detail was that three eyes did nothing to let Cruxis know Notwen's age in the vision - a primary clue to the timeline of the vision. He'd only met one three-eyed Uchiha in his life, and doubted he'd see another unless he went out of his way to create one... The fact of the matter was anything in the past could not be undone; anything in the present that could defeat Notwen would make quick work of them; and anything in the future was not set in stone; a thousand possible paths stemmed from a choice of choices; and given each unmade choice led to a dozen other unmade choices... And Cruxis did not have his father's training in the subject of the future, so needless to say he could only hazard a guess as to what it meant. It could very well be what happened if he tried to interfere; as opposed to the unaltered future.
"I don't know where the help would be needed... Or when as the case may be. It could be in the past for all I know, that's the problem with an underdeveloped power... I need to hone its range, know what I'm looking for to know what I'm seeing and why I'm seeing it. Honestly I don't even know where to start looking; there's nothing we can do about it."
He felt it best not to mention Notwen, or that whatever he was facing, had faced, or would face was likely far stronger than they could handle. He shut his eyes again, allowing his mind a break from the surge of incoming data; one benefit at least was that so long as his eyes were shut, he could not willingly or unwillingly receive visions through them. Once he was certain he had control again, Cruxis opened his eyes and looked to Takeshi to answer his question; "I really don't know what happens next... I'm sorry for collapsing like that."
It was really an awkward way to go about their getting to know one another; and quite honestly Cruxis was not in the right mind to try and make a joke out of it. Having a vision did something to him; made him slightly paranoid of whatever it showed; in this case wondering if Notwen had been injured in the past or if he would be severely injured in the future. Was it worth even warning Notwen to avoid a fight with someone who looked like they could treat him like a meat grinder treats a cow? He had to learn to control his future sight; he had managed to learn to control his ability to see the past, and he had been able to activate his eyes' present sight improvement for the longest time. Whatever his father could have taught him was not worth thinking about, he was dead and that was that; Cruxis would have to learn on his own how to control the eye, as his father had had to do.

Rissa sighed, almost sounding as if she was frustrated, glancing away from the group before looking towards them. “I'm sorry... I'm a little on edge now. I guess, I still feel a bit out of place in the Shinobi world.” She offered a small smile, before sighing again. “I.. I think I'm going to go train a bit, then head off to bed. See you two tomorrow maybe.

She turned to leave then before bounding away, her leap carrying her to the first roof top. Rissa wasn't going all that fast, and it would have been child's play for either of them to catch up to her should they need too. Even with her slower speed, she reached her destination in what seemed like little time at all. She sort of stared around her, before recalling the note Cruxis had given her. Rissa smiled at the memory as she pulled it out, reading it over quickly.
Her face darkened a bit, before she slipped the note into a pocket and closed her eyes. Of course she would go... She'd love nothing more than to do so. What she couldn't understand was why just her..?

Chasing the thoughts from her mind, she focused on the task at hand: training herself. She closed her eyes, focusing chakra as she moved forward, aiming a strike at the wooden stump left for training. She was using a tai form called Swan Dance, and her movements were like a dance around the stump, her hand striking and leaving dents in the trunk of the tree. She pulled back soon enough, her hands shaking, and lacking the conditioning needed to keep up the technique on the stump... Though it didn't seem much better.

Her trembling hands made it difficult for what she next wanted to do. Forming hand signs slowly and deliberately, she focused her chakra, eyes flashing as she allowed the jutsu to take form. Lazily, a thin, feeble looking pillar of water rose in front of her, tapered to a point. Rissa moved, her arms moving slowly, testing the movement of the pillar in front of her. It was responding rather well actually, waving back and forth slowly. Darting her hand quickly out at the stump, the pillar slashed forward, whipping forward and slashing across the stump. The mark left was shallow, but it had landed. The technique, and Rissa sat back, slumping to the ground and looking at her hand with a smile. She was getting somewhere... Slowly but surely.

At it turned out, there was nothing for any of them to do that would be of any effect it seemed. Cruxis couldn't tell anything from his vision that he just had so there was no direction to his seeings. Cruxis made another apology for his collapsing again but Takeshi just shook his head lightly and raised his hand up slightly signalling that it was alright. It seemed though that for Rissa it wasn't alright. She was shaken by some of the events that happened recently, and decided that she'd use this time to make her leave. There was no blaming her at this point, things were just a little strange. Takeshi just nodded and watched as Rissa leave on her own accord. He looked over to Cruxis and shrugged his shoulders slightly. "Well... I think we should take the rest of the night easy then..." Takeshi stated, even though taking it easy for him was something that was a full workout for others. "Alright Cruxis, talk to you later alright?" He bowed slightly and with that, took off. He wasn't going any were in particular, mainly just didn't feel like going home at this moment. It seemed that today was better then most. He ended up getting to know quiet a few people today and all were skilled in their own ways, some more then others but none the other they were all good at what they did.

Then he heard something, it was feint but he knew the sound. Some-one was striking a wooden object, most likely for training. He was curious on who it was so he moved in that direction and figured that it would be interesting to see what this person was doing. Quietly, he began to move towards the noise that he first noticed. In the end, and to his surprise, it was Rissa who was practicing and Taijutsu to boot. He watched in silence for a few moments more until she ended her taijutsu training then moved onto some ninjutsu. He knew nothing of Ninjutsu but knew something that she needed to improve on with her taijutsu. He waited until she was finished before moving in closer. Walking slowly, Takeshi looked over to Rissa and now noticed that her hands were shaking. He chuckled lightly and shook his head slightly. "It'll take a while for your hands to get use to striking something without any consequences..." His tone was softer then normal but still quiet blunt and too the point. Walking towards Rissa, he moved over slightly to a near by tree and paused. Creating a bone sword from his shoulder, Takeshi gripped it and started to shave long yet thin bands of bark off a new by tree. Stabbing the sword into the ground when he finished shaving off a few bands, he moved over to Rissa and paused. "Hold still, this will help when you practice your Taijutsu ok?" With that, he took a hold of her hand and started to wrap them with the tree bark. Then took the other hand and did the same thing. "There... Also... when you use Taijutsu, try to put your hips into it more... it'll give your strikes a snap and help with it's power" He decided that he'd wait for a moment then thought of something. "Show me you're skills... I'll see if I can't give you a starting place for your training alright?"

For a brief moment, Cruxis debated following Rissa, or perhaps inviting Takesi to spar in order to exhaust himself and reduce his chakra flows long enough to make some sense of what was happening to him. The former would be a poor choice, since he had already asked her on a date via note; attempting to follow her would only come off as creepy, and he didn't want to scare off the poor girl before he even had the chance to simply talk with her and be her friend. Likewise, exhausting himself in a sparring match would do him no good, particularly since he didn't know the extent of Takeshi's healing progress, nor how focused he could hold his chakra when his focus was so dispersed at the moment.

Cruxis instead wandered towards the payroll office, deciding to at least pick up his paycheck before finding a good inn for the night. He had to remember to look into either a resident artistry, or actually renting an aparment soon; though generally Cruxis held a disdain for staying in one location for too long - a habit of a wandering bard when his songs grew old, or the patrons simply decided that the young musician was a good target to be mugged. The office was three blocks south, eight blocks west, and Cruxis moved with a relatively calm pace considering his normal antics of flying across rooftops, racing any passerbys who happened to be moving in the same direction. He kept this calm for one main purpose, he didn't want any chakra surges to cause another vision.
'I wouldn't have to deal with this if that damned assassin hadn't messed with our lives. Who the hell goes about deciding to eliminate a newly buddin bloodline simply because they can? ...Maybe someone who doesn't want an editor looking over their choices I suppose. If they knew what dad could do, they might have been afraid... I guess I would be afraid too... Heck I'm afriad now, I don't know when I'll get the visions, or what I'll see, or when what I'm seeing is... It's like I'm looking in a direction that no one else knows about, and i don't know how to ove forwards and backwards within that direction.'
Tha payroll line was empty as they neared closing; that was at least some good luck not to have to wait in a line, Cruxis reflected, as he approached the window and recieved his paycheck in a sealed envelope upon showing his ID and Ninja License. The receptionist glanced at his file a moment before speaking to him.
"We have a woman looking for you earlier. The Cloud-Nine Times posted a list of the academy graduates for this month, and your name was in it... She claimed to be your grandmother and we told her we'd update you. Here's the location, about two miles out of Cloud if you want to check it out."
Cruxis held the smal slip of paper she handed him, blinking in some degree of shock before glancing right to her; "Wait... my grandmother? I have a grandmother?!"
"How should I know? I'm not a genologist. It could just be a trap to lure out a young gennin and kill him; which is why I said look into it if you want... Now if you're excuse me..." she reached up towards the window grate, "We're CLOSED!" and slammed it down, Cruxis having yanked his hands back just in time to avoid being crushed under the iron grating.

Rissa had been about to start again, when Takeshi showed up, speaking aloud and causing her to jump a bit in surprise. “Um... Yeah... I've always been a ninjutsu specialist.” She responded, watching as he shaved the tree of his bark. A light blush crept over her face, and she averted her eyes as he wrapped her hands in the bark. “... Thanks Takeshi. It's a bit odd being on the injured end for once.” She gave him one of her more customary smiles, before standing and stretching lightly.

You sure..? Your injury won't bother you...?” She asked lightly, bouncing lightly on her toes. She had always been faster than she had been stronger, and she felt it was time to test out just how fast she was. She figured strength would come later, but she still took into consideration Takeshi's advice as she moved forward to strike. Like before, her movements were like a dance, giving her taijutsu's name meaning after all. The main difference was how she was delivering her strikes, three back to back. As she shot forward, her body seeming to uncoil, she put her hips into it, blinking as she felt a different sort of sensation than before. The technique certainly felt more powerful. She only hoped she didn't accidentally hurt Takeshi in the process.

Takeshi watched as Rissa got up smiled and stretched. Then she asked if his injury wasn't going to bother him in the training. He grinned and shook his head. "I'm positive that it won't bother me. I've trained in much worse condition then this little scratch." He wasn't trying to worry her, but it was the truth and that's what he was going to give her, the truth. He watched as she warmed up by bouncing in spot on her toes. While she did that, Takeshi shifted his feet to be shoulder width and a half apart and most of his weight on his back foot. He hands were out in front of him, left hand out stretched further then his right hand, and both hands having the index finger extended and the other fingers bent at the secondary knuckles into his palms. He watched as she came into striking distance but still waited as she moved into her striking range. As each strike came, he extended his arm and blocked each strike with the back of his hand and or wrist. She seemed to have a good speed for her choice of shinobi job placement. Even though is wasn't giving him too much difficulty since he was much faster then her, she was doing a good job of listening to his advise. He continued to block while staying stationary, with the last of her strikes, he reached out and grabbed her wrist to stop her strike. Then after a second, he released her wrist and nodded standing up normally. "Good, for being a medic you've got decent speed. I want you to go full speed and force though alright? I want to see what you truly have for close quarters combat ok? don't worry about hurting me, if you do... I deserve it for not being able to defend myself."

Rissa was amazed at how easily Takeshi seemed to block her attacks as she went at him. She was beginning to think of him like smoke or air, till he caught her wrist easily, blinking. “The difference between us is shocking sometimes...” She said with a light smile, before taking stance again. Her palms were flat, one held at an angle , the other up-side-down and curled back against her other side, coiled for a strike sure to come. Her eyes flashed, before she stepped forward, the curled back hand whipping forward as she thrust her hips into the strike, aiming for his chest before whipping another strike out from her other hand. Her arms seemed to almost whip and snake around as she moved, her body slowly easing into the movements as she picked up her pace. She was prepared to go on the defensive, but at the same time, she was working on the offensive, not holding back since he told her not to. Rissa was a good student when she focused on it, even if she had never been physically strong.

HIDDEN CLOUD || Ryokai Uchiha || CHAKRA RESERVES: 2000 || Stamina: 1000

Ryo would continue to walk around the grounds looking at this and that. Until something had caught his eye. Was that by chance the boy that he has seen before? He knew he was an uchiha like him but he wasn't so sure exactly if he knew him or not. Ryo would walk over towards him and the others that would be near him as well. "Hey, don't I know you from somewhere?" Ryo would ask out wondering if this other kid would recognize him or not. Hopefully he would and they would have a pleasent little talk. There was also this cute girl standing with him and Ryo would tilt his head checking her out a little. Liking what he saw he would then speak to her, "Hi there my name is Ryokai, you are very pretty, what is your name?" With a simple smile he would awaite the others to talk to him.

Takeshi watched as Rissa got into her fighting stance again and got ready. She stated something about how the difference between them were sometimes shocking. He shook his head again and sighed. "I've been fighting all my life, so I've got a huge advantage like you have a huge advantage in medical knowledge." He waited for Rissa to strike again, and she did. He continued to block her strikes, which were faster but nothing much. Once he noticed a opening, he dodged and got Rissa in a headlock and held her wrists in his free hand. "Try to get out in two moves or less"

((Sorry so small))
PostPosted: Sat Jan 14, 2012 8:16 am

Rissa was doing well, until he caught her in a head lock, her wrists trapped in his hand. She blinked at his challenge, frowning a bit. So she had to get out of this trap..? Well then, she'd try and do just that.
Focusing her chakra to the soles of her feet, she jumped, her body twisting as her legs shot up for a quick aimed at his head/shoulder. With her legs in the air, she began twisting the rest of her body, intending to break his hold on her wrists. After all, he only had one hand holding her wrists, she she hoped that that would be enough to break from his hold. If everything worked out, she would be in the air for a few moments.

For once, Rissa wasn't terrified at the thought. She had always been a more cautious fighter, but she could feel herself letting go a bit while sparring Takeshi. She still had no desire to hurt someone, especially not her friend, but she had less qualms fighting to get herself out of trouble now, which was what she was doing now.

Takeshi waited for a moment and watched Rissa wondering what her game plan to get out of this was going to be. She paused a moment then pushed her plan forward quiet litterally, jumping up with a boost from her chakra. While she did that, she was twisting her body in one movement. It was a good strategy, because he knew no matter how strong he was, it was always difficult to hold two wrists with one hand. What he wasn't expecting though was for her to have twisted her body to the point in which she could kick at his upper body and/or head area like so. One thing she haddn't solved though was his head-locks grip. Shifting his weight around, he dodged the kick and felt it breeze by his shoulder. With his grip still around her neck firm, he decided that it'd be best to move onto something else. So while she was still in the air, he released her but also pushed her shoulder so she went into a fast spin. The way he had forced her into the spin though made sure that she would land on her feet. He wasn't going to let that happen though since he waited until she was on the decline from being thrown then swiftly went underneath her and caught her, setting her back onto her feet. "You didn't get out of the headlock... but good job with the wrists. Now... I want you to try and strike me again. One thing though, for every time you miss I'm going to attack you alright? I'm not blocking, just dodging unless you force me to block" Takeshi took a few steps back and waited on Rissa for her to make her move.

((It's mini game time XD just to make things more random ok Neo? Roll a 10 sided dice and if you roll a 1 or 10 you hit, if nether then I get a counter-strike like the RP says alright? If you don't want to do this though then let me know ^^))

Rissa felt her wrists slip from his old, but the arm around her neck kept her there. He had managed to dodge her kick, and soon, she was spinning in the air. Rissa could feel her body turning, and was prepared to land on her feet, but soon enough, Takeshi had caught her, her legs dangling freely for a moment before she was set down again. Was she really that light? She had a light blush on her face, both from the exertion and from her previous predicament.

Thanks.... And alright, I'll try.” Rissa smiled a little, before taking her stance again. She studied him for a moment, seeing if she could spot any obvious faults with his posture, something she could use and exploit. Finding nothing, Rissa waited a moment forward before darting forward, her body lower to the ground than it had been before. She brought her open palm upwards, in a rising strike, using the same movements as in Swan Dance. Her movements were changing a little though, starting to flow together, more like a current of water than a swan's graceful movements.

Takeshi continued to wait. He had noticed that Rissa started to blush. He didn't know why she had done so, and was thinking of putting it in the back of his mind. Except he just couldn't seem to do so though. It was odd for someone to be blushing at this point, definately at this point in training. Suddenly, there was movement from Rissa. It was lower then her previous attepts, and once fully recognized he noticed that he was cutting it really close as he placed his hands just in front of his chin. Then he felt Rissa's palm strike the hands, the strike itself was now blocked and he could have let it be, but with her getting a strike in close enough he figured that he would dramatize it a bit. Since the strike was blocked, he forced a jump backwards and landed in a minor skid. He smirked and nodded. "Nice... two more times and we can call it quits for now. Sound fair?"
