Aerikon let out a series of yelps and squeals as his tail tip got scorched. He jumped out from his hiding spot, trying to put the flame out...and when he did, his had become enraged enough to not wait for a command. He dashed towards the Torkoal, attempting to Tackle it onto its back.

 The Sandshrew watches as the Horsea pretty much ran for it. A puffing of it's cheeks showed it's anger, and then the shadow of the boy over it ...as she heard Felix's voice.
She understood him alright ...his question, his wish, and then she smirked dangerously as she declare to the Horsea.
[You have to pay for a guide ...I will expect payment when this is done.]
"Sand, shrew ...san ...shrew."
Though she wasn't thinking at all about a pokeball as she drew a thumb claw towards herself as she started to walk away. Stopping a few paces from them, and motioning with one claw for them to follow.
She was acting the part of their guide for now, as it would seem that without even battling ...he had managed to get the Sandshrew to join him. Though, there was a slight misunderstanding about maybe how he had expected such a thing to come about.[1/10]

[Eruption has special rules, so I just want you to be aware of them.
ERUPTION = Con. type Beauty = Sp Attack formula + differences between user & oppoent's Hp ((only if Opponent's Hp is higher))
Eruption is an attack that if it connects will hit all opponents on the other side of the field ..as it tries to cause a massive amount of damage to those whom prove themselves to be stronger.]
The Torkoal actually laughed at this attempt as he pushes his head back into his shell. He would let his opponent smash himself to bits against that hard shell. For it was not an easy thing to fight a Torkoal int he desert, and even harder to deal with one when your pokemon was using normal type attacks.
A smirk was on his face as he waited for the weak hit ...if he felt anything at all.
[Just realize I didn't put the pokemon's capture roll which should be 16]

Felix smiled... The sandshrew would lead them then. He nodded to Horsea, and they followed carefully, watching the sand beneath so as to take most precautions not to disturb anything avoidable. Though Felix felt Sandshrew would know a lot of the dangers.
He was not quite sure 'why' the Sandshrew was leading them... was it just.. the little pokemon liked him? Or was interested in him and Horsea... it was obviously the latter, but still.
He pressed the thoughts from his mind, hand dropping to a pokeball as he struggled within.
Oh, if he tossed it now, the Sandshrew would be completely off guard... but it might not lead him then... decisions.. decisions...
The ball clipped and spun, activating.
"...Sorry..." he whispered.

The Sandshrew turned then ...as she would heard the chirp of the ball as it was enlarge, but she wasn't in time as she realized the trap. She had fallen for it like a fool, she had thought to help him, but now it would seem that she had infect come across a predator that was pretending to be something less.
The horror on the pokemon's face was clear as the ball would hit, and then spin away as it absorbed her in a reddish light. But was that enough?

Felix lifted his hand and actually performed a small fist pump.
"..Yes!" His first catch, not to mention, Sandshrew was already one of his favored Pokemon out there, he was exhilarated, not having expected it to pass without a hitch.
...He glanced over at Horsea and shrugged... the pokemon almost an amused glint in its eye, even it had not seen that coming from Felix.
"...Hmm..." Felix walked over, his serious demeanor present once more as he picked up the Pokeball, looking it over, satisfied.
"...now.. lets see about that guide..." he activated it, summoning the Sandshrew once more.
"...Sorry about that..." he knelt a little, looking into its eyes, "I had to be careful though... hopefully you'll trust me again someday."
He began walking forward in the direction that the Sandshrew had been leading him in the first place, passing both Horsea and the other creature.
"..Return." He lifted their pokeballs, summoning them back in.

Well...Eirlys would have to scold him on acting so rashly. Still...the Tackle seemed to have not been in vain. Ahh! This wasn't the time to be surprise--Aerikon was too close now.
"Aerikon--Get back!" she called and this time the Gible would obey, trying to skid across the glass surface.

Though the Sandshrew turned her eyes away. She couldn't believe she had been tricked like that ...., but there was nothing she could about it now as she was recalled and he moved onwards in the direction she had started him upon.
[Make sure you start rolling the dice again]
[Ah, I see you did, so I am editing this post]
Though the direction was a treacherous one. One that she would have easily gotten him over, but inside of her pokeball he had no chance as the sands started to churn underneath his footsteps. The earths starting to sink him ....as the first of many Trapinch traps would come into play.
The pokemon aiming to sink legs first in the sands and try to break them off.

The pokemon was hurt by that attack ...hurt worst than it had thought possible ....as it's head popped back out of it's shell with problems. The opening almost crushed inwards as he looks out to see that his opponent was already running away again.
He wouldn't make that attack a second time as he smashes one foot into the ground as the sands and the flames undernearth jumped to his bidding as the flames threaten the Gible once more as it jumped out of the earth.

She could have sworn her heart dropped stone cold, when a pillar of those vicious flames blew just underneath Aerikon's feet, propelling him in the air. And when she saw him land, she nearly charged forth to see if he was alright, but stopped just as she saw him rise so stubbornly...and her heart calmed.
Now, she had to end this...
With a swift flick of her wrist, she tossed a Pokeball at the Torkoal.

"..Shoot.." Felix slid right into the trap... his legs sinking in up to his knees, trying to free them, but the sand was sticky pulling him down.
"...Sandshrew!" he activated the Pokeball, his sandshrew springing forth.
"...Find the enemy!"

The pokemon smiles as it saw the damage it had created with that attack. If the Gible hadn't had a resistance to his flames, this match would have already been over ....as he watches the pokemon go up and then come crashing back down to the earth.
Pain, death, destruction .....many overlook his strength because of his species. He wasn't an adorable Vulpix, an remarkable Charmander, nor .....was he some beautiful Ponyta .....he was a Torkoal, and he was one that made his species look good.
Though his thoughts didn't get much further as something hit him on the head. The small red and white ball spinning as it fall away from him and into the sands, and the pokemon's eyes went huge .....as he disappeared inside of the pokeball.
The item landing in the sands as it twitches once, twice, and then a hard third time before the pokeball went from red to white.
