"Well, it looks as if we are alone again Selene...Why don't you head over to Jasper and properly introduce yourself?"
She watched as Selene nodded and ran off. The woman turned and looked to the blonde bard. "Let's go talk while we are alone shall we?" With that, the woman turned and headed off.

Envy floated through the ether. She had to leave that miserable body. Lust was driving her nuts. Now she needed a new host. Someone she could take a little from so she might not feel so hideous about things. That's when she saw her. The little girl who was screwed for life. Just because her daddy was a murderous a*****e. Diving down, she wrapped her void around the girl before forcing the empty, wanting feeling into her.

Arete happily leapt over to the white haired woman. "Ah! So you must be Cherry, the one who brought me here." Arete seemed to catch himself after saying that statement. "Oh sorry, I mean "Amaterasu"." he corrected himself. With a brightening smile his foreign accent only seemed to add to his boyish charm. Then Arete playfully bowed and offered his hand for her to shake. "As requested, I am Arete the Muse. And I am at your service."

"I was Cherry yes...but no more. There is too much associated with that name and that persona. I feel the only way to truly break free is to try and become someone else. Follow me, Arete the Muse." She shook his hand before releasing it and turning to head away from the others. Once she felt, she was a distance away from the others, the woman turned and looked to Arete.
"First, I must apologize for what Fenrir did to you. You know him don't you?...Or at least you did at one time? I cannot imagine why he would do something to someone who clearly looked to him as a friend...It wasn't kind of him..." She thought for a moment and looked to him. "Did he speak to you about me at any point? Is that how you knew my name? Or are you just a lucky guesser?"

"Oh, I'm not too worried about it. Fenrir's always been like that." Arete laughed as he scratched the back of his head. "He may not be a kind person, but he's still a person..."
Arete let that thought settle for a moment before smiling again. "Fortune telling is a most intriguing art that I'm proud to say I've taken the time to learn, but its just a trick. What I do is neither guess nor tell, but read. As a shapeshifter I have the ability to read your memories. All of them. Now since you've shaken my hand I've read yours and from when I touched Fenrir I've read all of his so I'm perfectly aware of everything you are and how you feel about each other." Again Arete smiled to try and ease the tension his words might've created. "Firstly I must congratulate you. I always knew Fenrir would find love in this world and you helped make it happen. Such a shame then that you've both let yourselves taste the pain of love's end."

"I see...I did not want it to end. Even now I still care about the dolt...But I fear that to him I am nothing more than some little toy. Something he can play with then put away when he wants to find something new. The fact that he had relations with a woman while I was gone...that doesn't sit well with me...And since you saw full well what happened...I'd also like to point out that I did not want to take Selene from him either. That was not my intention...I really wanted us to be a happy family. I thought it would make him happy. But I suppose my assumptions were just my own foolish and selfish dreams of what I wanted." Amaterasu shook her head lightly.
"I just wanted to take Selene to someone honorable. Someone good that she could learn from and emulate in an attempt to show people that just because she is Fenrir's daughter, she isn't a tyrant like him. I felt that if she was taught by Fenrir, that she would end up like him. Become someone with little feeling for others around them. I wasn't planning on taking her from him. I wanted him to have a relationship with his daughter. But seeing that murderous look in his eyes when I was taking her to Kora...and his actions there...It just told me that it would be better if I took her away from him until she is old enough to decide what she wants...I don't want her to grow up to be as cold as he is..."
The woman shook her head, lamenting over all the recent events that had happened. She crossed her arms over her breast and held herself. "Though, you already know that don't you. I know he is a person...I told him time and again that I just want what will make him happy. I believe that everyone deserves to be happy...That everyone deserves to find some sort of peace. I thought that peace would be with me. I guess I just wanted it more than he did. And yet now that I've made my decision, I know that he'll be coming soon. I just fear that my friends will be targeted as well. I am trying to figure out the best way to go about doing this. To keep everyone safe. Selene, Jasper, Liliana, and the others who were there when this happened."

Jasper knew that if he was to even stand a chance against Fenrir in the slightest, he would have master a hand to hand style, but there were a few things he would be able to learn...if that was the case, then he would need to extend his knowledge. He knew what he wanted too. He sat down criss crossed, and closed his eyes. Suddenly his own skin began to harden like iron, it was an odd feeling for Jasper yet it felt good.
Then he opened his eyes to reveal Cherry's daughter, the bright young girl seemed to stare at him awkwardly. "....Helloooo. The names Jasper, I'm a Paladin." After saying that, Jaspers eyes began to illuminate with his bright energy. He remembered Cherry saying that she wanted her daughter to be a Cleric. "So you wish to help people? I can heal people as well..... to an extent."
[Subclass: Berzerker chosen. 1/1 Iron form learned.]

A slight grin could be seen on Jasper's face. It was odd for him to teach others, because up until now everyone had been teaching him. "We could start with the basics, like Minor Heal. This is the basic skill ever cleric should know, it'll be much easier for you to learn it, though. This skill can heal wounds that aren't vital, like a gash or scraped knee." He looked around for a suitable test subject, but found a hurt squirrel beside a tree and picked it up and walked back to Selene. He set the squirrel on the ground beside her and stood up once more. The squirrel had a small gash on its leg. It may not have been vital for a human, but the squirrel was in agony. "Heal the squirrel so that it can be happy once more."

Arete shook his head. "Fenrir doesn't see you as a toy. But his feelings of paligimism...uhh..." He guiltily glanced away and started twidling his thumbs. "Maaaaaaay possibly be kinda my fault...sorta. WELL, it doesn't matter now. Whats done is done, and we have more pressing problems to worry about, particularly with your daughter." Arete glanced back at the girl and looked back at Amaterasu, full knowing what she had Selene receive. "You need to get those demons out of her now." he urgently warned. "Or we are all going to die. Don't you understand that?"

Amaterasu wasn't amused in the least when he said that Fenrir's feelings of being able to screw whoever he wanted had to do with him. "If that is how you feel then I think you'll end up alone as well. While that might be every mans dream, ninety-nine percent of women don't find that a particularly attractive trait. It makes us feel inferior to men. Like a piece of meat and not like an equal. You might want to take my words to heart, but then again I am getting sick and tired of trying to help people who won't listen to me in the long run anyway."
She shook the thought of Fenrir with other women from her mind and returned to look at Arete. When he mentioned the demon, her eyes lit up. "What? What are you talking about?! My daughter may be Fenrir's daughter but she doesn't have a demon! I exercised my sin while I was pregnant with her! It was given to Marishka so it wouldn't be passed down to Selene!"
