jewel just blinks going silent as she looks around a little '....this feels really odd....don't understand whats going on right now....' jewel throught swallowing a little "uh...shouldn't I try to move around...?"

jewel tilts her head looking confused " uh.. okay" jewel said as they reach the edge and jewel getting out of the water, her fingers are a little wrinkled form the water " I think I stayed in to long... I look like a prune " as she trys to wring out her shirt standing on the grass

Shadow didn't even bother shaking off the water. He just walked out of the water and sighed, "We should have brought a towel for you..." He just stood watching Jewel but his ear twitched. he looked towards a direction and felt uneasy about something. He then growled.

jewel frowns " yes but I'm sure I can get most of it out of my clothes....." as she looks at shadow tilting her head " hm? is something the matter?" jewel asked as she wrings out her hair

Suddenly there was an arrow being shot right at Jewel's direction. Shadow gasped as he notices and pushes Jewel down. "Ngh..." He winces as the arrow struck him instead. Shadow fell to his knees while one of his hands held the arrow that was embedded on the left side of his chest. He looked at Jewel with a weak look, "G-Get out of here...."

jewel hits the ground hard " ow... hey what..." jewel blinks looking at shadow " an arrow?" jewel looks around slightly, staying down as she looks at shadow " O-okay... but.. what will you do... if I return to the palace with out you.. I'll be beaten.."

jewel gets up and stumbles as she runs away looking over her shoulder with a frown as she hides in a bush and watches to see what they do " who are they.... if I go back to the palace I'll get a beatting for sure..."

The people tackled Shadow down, "We got him! We got the enemy!" One of them shouted. Shadow was struggling to get away from them. For some reason he can't fight them back.

jewel tilts her head " are they freedom fighters?" jewel wondered peeking out from behind the bush " should.. I try to help him?...maybe I can follow them back.... I don't even know how to get out of here...so I guess I'll have to follow them"

One of them then shouted at the others, "Look for the girl! She's probably his slave. Find her and tend to any wounds she got." He then shouted at another, "Tell the captain that we have captured Shadow The Hedgehog and report to home base as well."
Both of the men nodded and ran. They were all animals like Shadow and Jewel. Although they both stopped before a old walrus.
"No need to be shouting... I'm here. I'm not that old yet." The walrus said. It was Rotor. He walked up to the now paralyzed hedgehog, "No need to be rough on him either. He is only confused. Besides, he is our hero, you know..." Rotor stared and frowned at Shadow, who stared at him back, "Yes, once a hero only to be tricked by Eggman. At least we have him now since it is the Freedom Fighter's goal."

jewel hides carfully and slowly trying to get a little closer with out being spoted 'what are they talking about...' jewle thought as she moves closer but ducks everytime she thinks someone is looking 'what are they gonna do with him?....' jewel thought looking threw the vegitation shes hiding in trying not to make much noise but of corse when she moves trying to see better she ends up russling the leaves near by Rotor

"Hmm?" Rotor looked towards where Jewel is and walked over. He then pushed through the bushes and found Jewel, "Huh? Who are you?" He asked, staring blankly at Jewel.
