Hello, my favorite Suikoden game is Suikoden II with Suikoden V not far behind it. I've played and completed Suikoden I - III + V and I did not like IV so I never finished it. I think that's it o.o

I don't think I ever introduced myself here. Eh, oh well. My name's Rebecca. Not my real name, of course. Anyway, even though I got accepted here, I haven't really posted much since I feel a bit left out. I've only played Suikoden I and II so it's not like I can participate in the threads on the later three games stressed Oh well. I hope there's a PS2 emulator that can work on my computer *crosses fingers*

Hiyo! Y'all can call me whatever you want, as long as it's not insulting (I don't mind being called a nerd, though.^^) I just got hooked on Suikoden V this last couple of weeks, and logged 22 hours on my one week rental (that's a lot for me *head spinning*). I love the game because of the abundance of cut scenes, as well as the variety of characters and smooth battle system (games where I like the battles are few and far between). I also nabbed a good mismark deal on the game when I was finally able to buy my own copy (YESTERDAY!!!!). I was shopping at the oh-so-thin stock of games in BestBuy because I had a giftcard. I found Suikoden V and looked at the price...$50!!! I had been at the Sony store earlier in the week and had seen it for $25, so I gave up on BestBuy, making sure to cure them and their measly game stash as I left (not really, I'm just exaggerating with some silly stuff here to make this more fun, I do that a lot) After checking two sony stores to find the game (First one didn't have it) I found the elusive $25 Suikoden *shining ray of light on game w/ heavenly music in background* and ran it over to the checkout counter. After collecting on my bet with my dad on whether it would be that cheap or not, I bought the game, but the clerk said "Well, this game was supposed to be $49.99, but seeing as it's a mismark on the tag, we'll give it to you for that price. Just so you know what that is on the reciept." I paid all the same, and heard the Indiana Jones music in my head while leaving the store (crazy confirmation #1). And yes, I was tempted to make Ark of the Covenant jokes all night, but I didn't. Anywho, I AM A MASTER BARGAIN SHOPPER!!! BWA AHA AHA! And I'm modest to boot. Now, the relevant thing here is that I like drawing anime, playing Suikoden, and reading until my eyes pop out. Nice to know what my priorities are, too. If you read that entire thing, you have a wee bit too much free time on your hands, but you get a cookie anyway. Thanks for getting to know me, and I look forward to seeing you on the other boards.~.^

Hello everyone! Another new person here. Although I am by no means a Suikoden veteran, I still love the series with all my heart and soul. I was introduced to the Suikoden series rather late--I missed 1 and 2 and went straight to 3, then 4, and 5. After having heard so much about how good the original two were, I really regret accidentally looking over them. One of these days, I will find a copy of the first two Suikodens, but until then, I'll just have to make do with what I have. smile
Anywho, I'm officially a Suikoden addict now, and I can't get enough of it! I'm really looking forward to spending time with you guys, and I hope to see you around!

Have a great time here, and if it makes you feel better about it, I'm newer to the series. I only JUST got Sui-V, but I'm still addicted all the same. Welcome!

Thank you very much! biggrin I'm certain I'll enjoy my stay here. And I must say, you made a fine choice when you decided to step into the Suikoden realm. I hope you consider looking for the previous titles once you're done with V. You won't be disappointed! 3nodding

Hello! My name is Byne, and I am in love with the suikoden series. With so many characters, how could anyone say no to it? I have played 1-5, but only beaten 3 & 4.

hello.....I'm Jackie. Ummm.....I'm not very good at introduction thingys but oh well. Anyways....A friend of mine got me interested in the Suikoden series a few years ago. Anyways, I didn't get a ps2 untill about a year ago (and only had a nintendo 64) so I wasn't able to play any of the games. Then when I finally did get ps2 suikoden III and IV were a couple of the first games I picked up and I recently got V as well and am nearly done with it. So far I like III and V the best.
So far my favorite characters include:
III- Nash, Hugo, Chris, and Caesar (there's others but I can't remember them all since its been a while since I played it.
V- Roy, Rahal, Georg, Zerase,Isabel, Josephine(mostly for comic effect), Lucretia, and Kyle
