San nodded at the analysis of Bast. He would get his sensory technique to be much like that too, but that requires so much training and he was called for this mission rather quickly. Speaking to the duo, he summed up everything.
"So....whats the plan? get past the flowers?"

"We'll leave the tactics up to team leader Ganchou, but I have a favor to ask of you, San," Bast stated flatly. "I need for you to show me all of your bloodline techniques before we enter the forest. This is to facilitate my usefulness in this battle when your metal is no longer available, due to the magnetic properties of the forest. Don't worry about Chakra expenditure, you'll be able to make up the difference while we're sitting here thinking."

San gave Ergo a funny look before shrugging his shoulders and proceeding to do what Ergo asked. Out from his Burden golem a huge amount of Iron Sand would come out of it. He first demonstrated the Iron clone skill, standing next to him, then had the clone dissapate into 5 lances that later joined up with a mace ball and a block. They then dissolved into a cloud like structure where lots of needles then where launched into the ground. The Sand then from the ground rose into a 3-d latice of spikes and colems of spikes. Then from the spikes all the Iron Sand rose into a blanket like structure that then bagan to act in waves pulverising whatever would be underneath it. Smiling, the Iron Sand bulled back into the Burden golem.
"Thats all i can show you without special cercumsantces. is that sufficient?"

Bast nodded and clapped, and from deep underground a large amount of blue stone rose up and encircled her. She quickly imitated the movements performed by San, but pointed everything away from the group so that their Chakra did not start draining away at a quick rate.
"Yes, I think I can work with this. Those poor, poor Jashin fools are going to die," the woman stated. She pulled out a length of wire and bit off about a half-meter of it. She then compressed some of the blue stone around the wire and created a translucent blue gem out of it. She turned the wire and gem in to a necklace and tucked it under her shirt after putting it on. Following this, she sent the remaining materials back underground and began to loiter. "So, how's it going?"

San smiled at the process in which Bast went through, San spoke as well on the Jashin problem.
"Your right sensei....they WILL die. Despite the forest and my bloodline....you have taught me well on all other accaunts. You wont even miss them...."

Ganchou nodded as they talked, busy sketching out the forest in it's entirety with all of the notes and symbols to show the current situation. Once they finished, he smiled, rolled up the map, and sent it to Mamoru. That done, he quietly asked "While we ponder, there's a technique I've been meaning to learn. Bast, would you show me your "Golem" technique? I've wanted to learn it for some time now..." While he waited for his reply, he busily made another note and sent it off with Screech to a certain person.

"No," Bast responded without waiting for more than two tachyons to pass. "It stays in the family. If you even so much as hint at learning it again, to anyone, I will take your head while you sleep. If you think I'm joking, then trust me, the Jashin will end you. Right now."

Ganchou stared at Bast for a short while, a hard, sideways stare, then raised his eyebrow, in a manner that said the matter wasn't over. "Annnyways, I'm going to conduct some diplomacy with the Jofuku. You can come if you wish, but you have to leave all weaponry behind. Mamoru made it clear that we must appear completely harmless and peaceful. Bast, as I know you are an expert on foreign beings, what advice would you have?"
//Interesting... Bast doesn't know that San knows the technique, I would guess...//

San's attention flared as she spoke the words that it stays "in the family." Six sensei had legitamently taught him the technique, but to deny Ganchou? That was interesting. San summoned millenius and gave him all of the weapons he currently possesed, and the sent him away. Nodding to Gan, he showed he was ready.
"Im all clean and ready to depart. Bast, i would appreciate hearing your advice though...."

((Nah, she knows, but the little bugger did her some favors and suffered under a drunken Ganchou while doing so. Also, Mamoru taught him, and she can't really kill Mamoru. Plus, San's emotionally stable. That helps a lot when dealing with Bast.))
Bast shrugged and slid her weapons in to one of her gourds, not particularly wanting to leave them behind in case of bandits, and corked the gourd. She adjusted the straps holding it to her so that there was less slack, and then indicated through her posture that the matter with Gunsei was, in fact, completely and totally closed.
"Well, for starters we should give the Jofuku plenty of warning in advance that we are coming. I would suggest using no Ninjutsu whatsoever, and as such I will not be followed by any of my golems, which leads me in to my next point: Do not give them any information that may make us seem as if we will use or threaten them. That means no messing with the flowers, no hiding, no rude behavior, do not act any more secretive than you want them to be, calm your Chakra flows, and for the love of god, don't be rude. Ganchou, I would suggest being quiet until you know exactly what to say, as you have had trouble with that in the past, and this is an incredibly important task," the woman explained, her voice level. "We will need to play up our stance against the Jashin, but also point out that our experiences with the late Invading Bandit Dude were due to his interference with the Sand, and not because of a want to rid the area of his species altogether. Now, the destruction caused by codename I.B.D. probably destroyed some of the flora that inhabits the outpost, so more than likely there will be some people down in the outpost that we have already faced, and perhaps a new face or two. That being said, their forces are probably mostly recovered. We will need to smooth things over with them if the situation arises, but if you are uncertain of what to say, let me know and I can talk for us."

San nodded and sent his Burden golem away with a reverse summoning technique. No golems, no weapons, no nothing. He was a little apprehensive about the flowers acting twords him, as he was on the team that cause alot of damage to them. But that would help strengthen there stance if he calmed his chakra flow, went formally on his knees and bowed in apology. Hopefuly the sentient flowers would understand.
"Bast, i have sent everything away. Seeing as i was apart of the team that caused damage, i think me apologizing will help your stance and argument a little dont you think?"

Ganchou stared at Bast, and said "Whatever my problems in the past have been, I know diplomacy. And I had no intentions of messing with them, Bast. Black Ops I may be, entirely a sneak I'm not." Reaching into his backpack, he pulled out a box and a scroll. Walking behind a nearby tree for a moment, when he returned he was wearing only his special cloth tunic and his trousers, instead of his normal gear. Closing the box and the scroll, he sent the box into the scroll, then sent the scroll itself to the person who was bringing the Gennin. "Look Ma, no tricks. And you can start the talking, if you wish" he said, pointedly. Nodding at San, he gestured for Bast to go first before continuing on his way down towards the ruins of the outpost, his chakra flow as calm as a stone. Passing a flower, he paused and poured some water from his canteen on it before continuing on.
//But Gan's unstability is what makes him loveable! Yes, sometimes it is bad, but most of the time it causes fun in one way or another. >_> It's only mostly been bad because of circumstances... and the fact he was a demon host in another reality. I don't want to change his base character sooo...//

((You should have him go after the Ichibi here, too. That would make things consistent, ne?))
"Says the man who hid out as a female for a few years to avoid being detected by domestic Shinobi," Bast said as Ganchou changed, her voice just loud enough that he would be able to hear. She sneered like a scorned teenager until Ganchou turned around, at which point she turned to San and snickered quietly. After her quiet laugh, she answered the boy's question. "I can't see how it would hurt anything, really. A good, appropriate apology transcends barriers of species, or something like that. There aren't any good phrases for this sort of thing."
With this remark still in the air, she strolled behind Ganchou casually, and entered the forest behind him. She was entertaining the thought of getting to know the Shakuton user if she had re-spawned in the destruction of the outpost, and fancied that the handshake of a pollen-creature would either be soft or grainy.

San was last into the forest, following the duo with a slight sense of purpose in his step. This was a diplomatic missions....and San's first one. Military tactics could be transfered to the meeting table, but San was not one well versed with this sort of thing. Still, his intelect and the superior amount of support he had along should help him accomplish this.

As the trio entered the clearing before the remains of the outpost enterance, what was blatantly visible was the bodies of the remaining Jashin who had been assualting the area before. Approaching the enterance, Ganchou put his palm into his fist and bowed, before calling out "Are there any of the honorable Jofuku who we may speak with...?" Turning to Bast, he nodded, and gestured for her to step forward, to meet any delegate they would decide to send.
//I'll let you or AandOE take over from here, let's just get this started, neh? And as for going after the Ichibi... Who says I wasn't already planning that... biggrin //
