And some jackin' teacher was literally FOLLOWING him down the hall. Roch growled, irritated, and gave up for another time.

Zar glanced up in a similar way as he had with Calder as Danny walked in, waving a free claw in greeting between stacking paper. "Greetings. And no problem. Do mind the paper on the floor."

And then he got back to work.

Yin saw a familiar demoness slipping into the office. There were enough around that once he saw her he motioned for her to follow him into the hallway, they could talk there when they did not need to risk getting caught.

Danny blinked as Yin entered and waved her down into a secret passageway. Wooooah. Amity had cool stuff like this?

"Yin, where are you going?!" she whispered, trailing behind him. She continued down the path until she came into a big room, filled with lockers. They were all opened, forced open by the looks of it. Boxes and belongings were scattered everywhere. "Yin, what is this place?"

She moved to sort through the piles on the ground, curious as to what all this stuff was. Her eyes caught a box marked "MAYAPPLE HEMLOCK" in big black letters. Danny knew that name. That was May's- the little druid ghoul's. Her hands slid over the lid. Would it be wrong to take it?

... Obviously no one had gone searching for it. Besides May had ... already kicked the bucket. It ... It wouldn't be wrong, would it?

Amrita knew it was probably not the best of ideas to go rummaging around in an office the boogeys had ransacked...but on the other hand? Seeing so many students pass by it (and be escorted out from that area) made her more than curious. Besides, she'd already trespassed a Teacher's office, what's one more?

As she approached the office she had actually started to whistle innocently, but as she slipped through the door, all sounds - save for the brush of fabric and the padding of bare feet - stopped. Her first impression of the room was chaos, and it of course didn't take her long to see the demon cleaning up the paperwork. What...what a strange thing to do! Break into the Secretary's office to clean...well, to each his own!

The Patchwork had been about to ask if he needed help when she noticed Danny - and a student she somewhat recognized from Yearbook - disappear into a hallway. Now she was torn; offer her help, or disappear after the other two. Help. Disappear. Aaaaa~

Apparently, she settled for both. A few pieces of paper were picked up and placed neatly near the Demon, offering him nothing but a sheepish smile before she turned away, vanishing into the hallway.

Wow this hall way dark! While she could still hear Danny's voice, it was so far in the distance she had a hard time pinpointing it; she wandered through the hallway, her hand on the wall, until the room opened up to her.

"Whoa~" She breathed out, looking over at Danny and Yin for a brief greeting nod before turning her single eye around the ransacked place. "What are these?" Amrita whispered, carefully stepping through the mess until she found a spot she could kneel. Boxes, clearly. ...Boxes with names on them? A lot of names, it seemed. Some of them were very familiar, too...

"Names...maybe...?" She murmured to herself. On a hunch the Vetala started to move, leaning down every few steps to inspect a box, picking up some of the overturned ones to take a look at the names on top. Eventually she found the one she wanted; a plain box, the name Sophie Spook written across the top. She knelt in front of it, brushing her hand across it. It wiggled, twitched and the click that followed was clear as day to her.

"..." Now came the emotional tug-of-war. Should she open it...? Was it rude to rummage through what might be the personal belongings of someone long dead?  

[Baneful]

Everyone was beginning to filter out of the office, and as much as Zar was enjoying organising the paperwork, there was a sinking feeling that something in the hallway they were heading into could potentially undo all his hard work. For safety's sake he assumed he should check it out before getting stuck into cleaning proper.

Tenderly stroking the nearest stack with a clawed hand, he got to his hooves. So neatly organised, cleaning forms, acceptance, all sorts of wonderful things. So much of it could be streamlined if only they'd adopt a filing system. Perhaps he could write out a proposal and leave it behind.

So much to do. But for the moment he was scheduled for a certain hallway.

He headed into the darkness, feeling his way cautiously through, sometimes stumbling, but using his wings and tail to help gauge the distance between the walls and feel his way.

As he arrived in the locker room, he looked almost disappointed, the dissaray extended throughout this place too, but there was no sign of a culprit.

Daintily picking his way through the mess, he investigated the fallen lockers.

In the dark Yin was separated from Miss Danny. Trying to find her he managed to get himself lost and wandered around in the dark for awhile.

Calder had survived a rather embarrassing lecture that dances about private property, respect, following the rules, authority, and lastly what classified artwork and filth. Calder knew better and kept his mouth shut despite the last subject making him want to pipe up a few times. In the end, he slipped away, and when the coast was clear, returned to see if there were any additional editions left behind.

He also had to explain to Zar that it wasn't his magazine and he just happened to find it and pick it up.

However, just as he walked in, he saw a familiar ghoul go into a side hatch. When did Arel have a secret room?! One could only hope it lead to a secret library. Then again, why did Amrita know about it? Did she like Hornz too?

Looking about, the kelpie wasted no time testing the side door to the corridor and slipping inside.

[EXPLORING THE OFFICE]

"Trust me Xiu, it's going to be a blast." Vaith's dry tone behind Xiu gave off the implication, he had been through all the ropes already. In fact, his box was neatly in his room, unknown to Vaith, clicking open at this very moment.

But this very moment, he stood behind Xiu, with a thumbs up.

You should go in and check it Xiu!

There was a buzz about the office, and Rikki certainly wasn't ignorant to it. With the door tilted haphazardly off the hinges and blaring caution tape, it practically begged to be explored. He caught bits and pieces of what was inside - which looked a bit like a storm had rolled through - but never got a good look before a teacher was glaring at him and pushing him on his way.

He caught some luck soon though, when security seemed to be a little more lax that usual. He moved quick, ducking through the tape with as much speed and grace as practically folding your body in half would allow, and shadowstepped himself up against the wall as he peeked out to make sure he hadn't been seen. After a heartbeat with no shouty voices his shoulders slumped and he took a better look around. Yep, a tornado had rolled through and turned this place upside down.

That's when he caught the flickering light of Danny's tail fading up ahead, and he lunged forward, trying to follow after her.

Danny's tail faded from view way too quickly and Rikki was left to wonder aimlessly through the hall. The darkness seemed all-encompassing and more than once he had to blink away strain in his eyes as he struggled to see what was in front of him. This kind of sucked.

The corridor was pitch black, and Calder had to feel about the walls to make sure he wasn't just in a void. There were no sounds here, and he had hoped to hear Amrita's backwards feet. "Amrita. Psst. Where are you?" He whispered, but he heard nothing.

Roch swore they were stalking him--it was probably because of the BotB rumors. Either way, he was jackin' cockblocked when it came to the office. That was starting to piss him off.

[ In the locker room ]

Amrita tilted her head suddenly, looking at everyone who was currently in the locker room with her. A voice...that sounded suspiciously like Calder? Huh. Calder wasn't in here, though! What was left of her lips pressed together as if trying to decide something, and then finally, in a voice that was as loud of a whisper as she dared;

"...Calder?" She heard his voice, not what he said!
