Lillie looked away. "It's rather said. I probably could never understand losing someone. I've always been watched and sheltered by my family." She told him. She only understood the notion of wanted to find out more when it came to her parents. She couldn't miss what was never there. "Do you sometimes wonder about what you're parents were like?"

 ▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri had to think about his answer for a moment, it was one of the toughest questions he had tried to answer many times before. "I do sometimes but...it's...difficult to say whether or not I truly miss them. On one hand, I do want to know who they were, what they were like, but I don't even know their names. Yuri Solotov was the name given to me by Virulent and the knights, so my birth name was lost at the same time." He looked away for just a moment, letting the thought slip away before he dwelled on it too long. "But...on the other hand..." He continued, looking back at Lillie and giving a small smile. "The knights made sure I was happy being with them, and I was. I knew none of them were related to me biologically, but that didn't stop me from accepting them as my family. Not only that, but it was them who sent me here. If not for their decision, I might not have been the one here with you now." He said, lightly resting his hand on the princess's cheek.

Lillie placed her hand on top of Yuri's. She smiled as she looked into his eyes. "Maybe it's a good thing that you don't know anything about your earliest life. You could have had a bad name like Elupeup. My uncle would have used your traditional name and that would have been embarrassing." The name was in elven and because Lillie was the only one of the two to know it the joke probably went past Yuri.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri smiled, holding in a little laughter. "That does sound like a bad name, I'm just glad most of the knights didn't have much of a sense of humor when it came to naming me. The name Yuri is just fine the way it is if you ask me." He said, saying most because he didn't know how mature Lyx would have been when it came to making a decision.

Lillie smiled and laughed. "Well it depends on the language that the word Yuri is based from. Did you know that in Japanese the name Yuri means Lilly. I learned that from on of the foreign exchange students." The princess told her lover. Proving their match was a little more than perfect.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri raised an eyebrow lightly. "Actually, no I didn't. I suppose we have a little more in common than I thought we did." He said, smiling at his lover, having to hold in laughter at the thought that, if translated in english, technically both of them were Lillie just with different spelling. (haha, I honestly did not realise that until now xd )

Lillie giggled. "I didn't learn that till right before I met you. I think there is a Russian name of Yuri, but I don't know what it means. The knights may have been calling you after that one because it's a boys name while the Japanese one is a girl." The elf was pretty sure it was based from t he Russian one. Revealing that Lyx could have possibly known that.

"Possibly...although it does explain a little why Sir Lyx used flower metaphors to describe me occaisionally." He said, rubbing the back of his head. "In any case, I think I'll stick to the name Yuri regardless of meaning."

The girl was happy that it would stay that way. It just gave them another reason why they are so much a like compared to most other couples at the school. A new idea popped into Lillie's head. "What's your favorite foods so I know what to make you for those special days." She asked.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri blinked for a moment, he was never one to be fussy about foods, so he didn't really have a particular dish that he would call his favorite. "Good question...I think something that's close enough to being called my favorite is capsicum stuffed with beef mince and vegetables." Yuri had honestly only had it once or twice in his lifetime, but from what he remembered it was one of the meals he had liked a lot compared to some others.

Lillie took a mental note of the dish. It seemed like a main dish. "Is there any side dishes you like a lot to go with it?" She asked. She was planning the whole meal out. "What about your favorite dessert?" She asked on top.

As for dessert, I never really had it enough times to say I have one in particular I like." He explained before giving a light shrug. "What about you? What are your favorite dishes?"

Lillie blushed at what she liked. "Call me half human but I like American style chicken tacos, Danish rice pudding, and cous cous salad." She answered a little guilty look. She felt like one of those nerds who are really into human things. It was forced on her growing up.

It wasn't totally true. She still mostly ate elvish dishes over human. It only exploded once she came to the school. "None of which my dad has made. I don't know how he survived after my mom and him broke up. I bet Ren was the one keeping him alive." She joked.
