Amaya looked up from her book and tensed upon seeing who it was. Oh gawd, it's one of the handsome guys from flight class... Actually, she had noticed she had several classes with him, but as with the other students she saw from flight class in any of her other classes, she had avoided talking to him.
"Oh, go ahead," she said, burying her face in her book again. Please don't recognize me, she thought in vain. Who would forget someone who made an entrance like that? Please don't say anything, came her next line of thought.

Solomon came out from behind a large stack of books picking and choosing those in relation to the dark arts and elemental combat or rituals. nearing the angel in training he nearly doubled over in pain. taking a few steps back he gave a firm cough and pretended nothing happened. sitting a good few yards away he sat and pushed the books to the side a little peeking over at Amaya. "...damn...why are all the cute ones always .....damn...." he scratched his head and popped open a book on wind element techniques of which included flying.

Lucian Crow Lucian smiled and sat down, placing the book on the table. "Oh, hello again." Lucian said with surprise and a small smile. "I hadn't expected to see you again so soon. I suppose I should introduce myself properly. I'm Lucian Crow." He shifted his seat forward and opened his book. "That was quite an entrance you made this morning." He said with a small laugh. "I don't think I've ever seen somebody move that fast."

"I'm Amaya," she said, looking up from her book at him wearing a light blush. She purposely neglected to give her last name, in case he should be reminded of the new nickname she had earned. With a nervous chuckle she said, "I swear, I can fly better than that." She stared fixedly down at her book and mumbled something, then sighed. With forced determination, she looked back at him and said, "So... I've noticed we share a few classes..." She stopped there. What was she going to say? That maybe they could talk more? Her eyes darted back down at the book and she fiddled with the corner of a page.

Lucian Crow "Nice to meet you." Lucian said with a polite smile. "Don't worry about it, I'm not here to gloat, I'm pretty out of practice myself." Lucian recalled almost colliding with a tree on several occasions, fun stuff. "Indeed we do. Most of them it seems." He said with a small laugh. "You okay? You seem like you're a little. Well, scrambled."lD r e a m s h i f t e rl

"Sorry, I just thought you were going to make fun of me," Ammy said, smiling shyly. "So I'll start over. I'm Amaya Windrunner." She scratched the back of her neck. "The incident's just been hanging over my head all day, I came here to try to forget about it." She chuckled nervously again. "So um... what subject brings you here today?"

Lucian Crow "Ah don't worry about it." Lucian said, trying to lighten the mood. "It happens to the best of us." Lucian looked at the cover of the book. "Lightning magic - Beams and the shooting thereof." He said, suddenly feeling pretty foolish. "I'm...Very impulsive when it comes to books and stuff. I just grab the first thing that sounds interesting." He said, a small trace of a blush on his cheeks. lD r e a m s h i f t e rl

"Oh, that sounds pretty cool!" Amaya said cheerfully. "I just thought I'd read up on all the sorts of creatures around. I'm pretty curious about them. Heh, I don't know enough about them, for someone who grew up in the area." She scratched the back of her neck, feeling a little uneasy again. "U-um, I'm sorry if I'm bothering you. I can just shut up and let you get to your book if you want."

Lucian Crow Lucian placed the book down on the table again, still not having started reading it. "Hey you don't have to worry about bothering me." He said with a polite smile. "If anything I was more worried I'd be bothering you." He shifted so he was leaning forward with his arm supporting him on the table. "Say, I hope you don't mind my asking but..." He paused, not sure how to ask. "You're a full Angel...Right?"lD r e a m s h i f t e rl

Miguel walked into the library. It was clear that he had been somewhere with winged creatures because he had a white feather in his hair. He didn't even know the feather was on his head as he walked over to the Spanish section in the language shelf. He pulled out a book and walked over to a sitting table and started to flip through the books.

Amaya smiled at his response, feeling a bit relieved. "I'm not bothered at all," she said with a grin. Then came his question; she blinked in surprise. "Yes- um, sort of. I still got a ways to go before becoming a full fledged angel... Oh, my blood isn't mixed with another race, if that's what you meant," she added, thinking the latter was probably what he was referring to. She looked at him curiously and asked, "Aren't you?"

Lucian Crow Lucian shifted in his chair, looking to see if anyone would be listening. "Uh, no. Half." He said, slightly nervous. "The thing is, one of the reasons I came here is...I'm looking for my dad." Lucian looked down at the table. "He went missing a few years ago and-" He stopped, standing up from his chair. "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't lay this on you. I'll just go."lD r e a m s h i f t e rl

"No, wait! Please don't leave!" She looked around, hoping she hadn't spoken too loud. "It's okay, I don't mind listening if you feel like talking about it." Ammy's gaze was fixed more intently on him now, more curious than before. A half angel, huh? Good thing Rowena isn't here. She didn't think Rowena would actually do anything to physically hurt him, but Amaya wasn't sure if the woman was above throwing out a subtle insult or two. "Um, well, like I said, you don't have to tell me about it, but if you want to, would you rather stay here or move someplace else?"

Lucian Crow Lucian paused, smiled, then sat back down. "Thank you." He said, feeling a little better. "I have a younger sister, her name's Hannah." Lucian began. "Our mother died when Hannah was just a baby. Dad went missing a little after that." He looked to one side, spacing out slightly. "It's just been me and her since then."Lucian sighed lightly. "Ugh, long story short. I'm trying to find him, if only to finally figure out if he's even alive. I always figured the first step in doing that would be to find a full-blood Angel." He looked back at Amaya, a little sheepish. "Knowing my luck it's not that simple. But, I'd be grateful if you could help."lD r e a m s h i f t e rl

"I see," Amaya replied, frowning. His tale was sad, and one she could sort of relate to. "I'm not really sure where my dad is, or if he's even alive either- same for my mom, too." Her lips quirked in a slight, sad smile. She thought over his request... She was pretty busy trying to study up, but this was just the kind of thing an angel would do, wasn't it? Plus, she did want to help anyway, busy or not. "I would be happy to help you out," she said with a grin. But I wonder where we go from here...
