M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael nods before leaning down and unzipping his backpack, his hand reaching in before he pulled out a grocery bag with something inside. Walking closer to Dr. Rieux, he held it out to him with a sigh. "In that case I will give this to you now to hold for him. I told Dr. Decius that if he took a different route on treating her, I would get him these and since he technically did that, whether it was voluntary or not, I decided to keep my word. It is a family sized bag of the taffy you said he liked. I had to go to the grocery store to get more packs of water bottles anyways so I just bought it while I was there." Location: Nurse's Office

Nikolai Byko  Dr. Rieux looked at the bag held out to him and quirked an eyebrow. His eyes flickered to Michael, both filled with bemusement. "You didn't have to do that. I have plenty of candy with me already." He turned back to the device. "It's not good to spoil Decius, either. You'll wind up giving me cavities." He made no attempt to take the bag. M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael shrugs before setting the bag on the desk and taking another drink of his water. "I am not spoiling him. It was the only thing I could think of to keep him from cutting her in and half and since Nikolai wasn't making any movement to stop him I had to think quickly. I also offered to get him more games and try any of his experiments but he seemed more interested in the candy." Sighing softly, Michael leaned against the wall as he raked his fingers through his hair. "That is, until the idiot injected that serum into his arm...there was no calming him own after that. If he hadn't found the right one, I am sure the doctor would have gotten him with that saw of his sooner or later." Looking down at his bottle, he stared at the little bit of the liquid left before tipping the open bottle over and letting it pour out. Before it hit the ground and made a mess it formed into a bird and began to fly around the room. Location: Nurse's Office

Nikolai Byko "Yes, it is a subconscious cue that was... inherited, if you will." Rieux murmured.
"Ah, that's right," Nikolai joined in. "Your darling wife owned a candy shop, didn't she?"
The doctor shot the Sin a sharp look, having not wanted to talk about her, but he nodded. "Yes. I never liked candy until I tried hers. Now those treats are the only things that can calm both sides of me down." Dr. Bernard Rieux

M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael blinked in surprise as he turned to Nikolai before turning back to the doctor. A wife? He really didn't seem like he had the capability of really liking anyone, much less have a wife. Still trying wrap his head around it, Michael rubbed the back of his head as he thought about it. No matter how hard he tried to visualize it, he just couldn't. It was just impossible to ever think that the doctor whose face is always cold or always psychotic could even have a side stable enough for a relationship. Sighing as he dropped his hand, Michael shook his head as the liquid bird landed on his shoulder and turned to ice. "I really can't see that. You don't really look like the type to be even capable of tolerating someone else and Decius...well he just seems like it isn't something that would even cross his mind." Noticing the doctor's expression, Michael cleared his throat and looked away. "Anyhow, that isn't my business so I am going to change the subject now. I was curious, I noticed that you are able to remember what Decius does but is Decius able to remember what you do? It is originally your body so I understand how you can remember but does it work the same way for him?"  Location: Nurse's Office

Nikolai Byko Dr. Rieux's usual glare sharpened like a dagger when he heard Michael, and he aimed that dagger right at his face so he would be quiet. Nikolai, however, caught the baton and ran with it.
"Oh my, yes. He was such the smitten man back then." he laughed lightly. "I do believe Decius was made entirely for her sake, hmm?" When the sharp glare moved to him, he, too, grew silent.
"That is no one's business, and I have no intention of talking about my past to anyone." Rieux snapped. He sighed when he heard Michael's question and looked at him, his glare softer but still there, watching him like a hawk to see if he would say anymore things he didn't want to hear. "Decius and I are the same person, so we share the same brain and thus the same memories. Of course, the memories of each side come out fuzzy due to dominance factors. The best way to describe it is as a dream. You wake up and try to remember what your dream was, only succeeding in remembering fractions. Or there are days when you either remember it completely or not at all. That is how Decius and I view our other sides." Dr. Bernard Rieux

 Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... "Yeah, and you're both stupid," came a female's voice, floating between them and wisping into the air. The young woman the words came from groaned as she tried to sit up, one hand on her forehead while the other was splayed out behind her. "Jesus, Rieux, do you ever stop being such an uptight p***k?" she asked, her hand moving to push her stained hair from her face. Her eyes settled on Nikolai, and although they filled instantly with fear, she swallowed back her fears and sat up as straight as she could, her eyes now flickering to Michael. "Hey, help me down from here. Rieux knows I can't stand to be sitting too long." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Michael took the information with a small nod as he turned to the bird of ice and took it from his shoulder, looking at its details before the ice melted and he led the water to the sink to slip down the drain. He was going to respond but he heard the woman's voice and turned his attention to her with a look of relief. She was recovering a lot quicker than what the doctor had said but that was always a good sign of health. Hesitantly looking over at Rieux, he tilt his head to the side and waited for the man's okay. The last thing he wanted was to piss him off when he was already annoyed as it is about the mention of his wife. He was a little unsure of who he should listen to. The doctor or the principal...Rieux seemed to scare him more but he still hesitantly walked over to the woman and stood beside her bed for the simple fact that it was her body and her school so it was technically her decision. "Alright but if you can't handle it please tell me." He said and he reached out and supported her as she tried to sit up. Forcing her to stand could only cause damage so he would carefully assist in lifting her but mainly tried to support her. "Do you remember what happened to you miss?" Location: Nurse's Office

tiny14xx So who do you guys like better... Nikolai Byko "Don't talk like we know each other." Rieux snapped over his shoulder. "When I saw it'll take hours for you to recover, that usually means shut up for a few hours." he seethed and glowered over at Nikolai's direction merely so he wouldn't have to deal with the eyesore behind him. He was surrounded by annoyances, and it was starting to give him a headache. Rubbing one temple, the doctor walked away from them to go to his desk and find some candy to soothe his nerves.
Nikolai didn't seem to be fazed by Rieux's glare, however, because all his attention was on Kiyaka. He frowned slightly when he saw the fear in her eyes, but he pushed that aside and walked over to her when Michael helped her up. "Kiyaka dear, what happened?" he asked, though he had a feeling he'd know her answer. Dr. Bernard Rieux

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... She wave dher hand dismissively at him. "There you go, snarling at me like you think you'll scare me. Get over yourself, Rieux." With a sigh, Kiyaka let herself lean on the boy and swallowed back her fear as her eyes stared up at Nikolai. "What, you don't remember? You kissed me to distract me, then stabbed me, Nikolai. Didn't even give me any other explanation than that you're bored. Well, I hope you enjoy being bored and incarcerated because I'll be more than happy to tell the police that it was you and not Leon who did this to me!" Tears surfaced as she gazed at her former friend, shaking in the nurse's arms. "How could you, Nikolai? After all we've been through, how could you hurt me like that? We're supposed to be best friends, and you betrayed me!" ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC: Awesome nerd Rieux, I think. He's just so darn angry all the time. Kinda reminds me of a mix between Jafar and Doctor Finklestein.

Awesome Nerd That is a tough one. I like them both but I really like Decius's childlike personality. Its adorable even though he can be a little crazy. M I C H A E L emotion_sweatdrop D A R K aspiring artist Quietly, he held her up as she lashed out at Nikolai, his eyes moving from Nikolai to Rieux before he returned his gaze to the floor. "Is it possible that it was someone else who is able to mimic others in appearance and voice that did it to you?" He said as he turned to Nikolai again. It wasn't something that would be odd in this kind of school so he figured it could be a possibility. "If not, then maybe you were tricked somehow? Maybe drugged through the kiss? Nikolai Byko Nikolai blinked in surprise. "Dearie, I assure you that that's impossible!" he said. "I've been with Leon all day, and I only left to go to a meeting in Hell. Surely you must have been suspicious with this kiss, hmm? I would know how to not smudge lipstick when kissing." he argued before hearing Michael's suggestion. "A shapeshifter? Yes, that might be what happened." he thought. The Sin looked over his shoulder to see if Dr. Rieux had any ideas of his own, but the older man didn't reply. He simply leaned against his desk, legs crossed, and chewed on a Ghirardelli caramel square while glowering at the trio. Dr. Bernard Rieux

Kiyaka Mayazaki Theme song It's not that I don't like you... She crossed her arms under her bust, staring in Rieux's direction, but not directly at him. "I suppose a shapeshifter is possible. But I monitor all the registered shapeshifters in the area, and not a single one of them shifted last night! Otherwise, it would have sent an entry to my laptop. I didn't get a single notification last night." She leaned away from Michael, settling herself against the bed and taking a deep, shuddering breath. "It might've been an unauthorized shapeshifter, someone still under scrutiny. They aren't monitored at all, and they have to come to us to register." ...it's just that you're in my way. OOC:

It would make sense or it could be something else. "It could also be some kind of glamour. It would be best to think of all possibilities. And you-" He tuned his attention Nikolai again. "Do you have proof that you were really in hell? If not, you cannot be ruled out as a suspect, no matter how close of a friend you are." Location: Nurse's Office
