Akane entered the place, with a hog in her hands. She dropped it on the ground few meters away from the fire. "I-I brought a w-wild hog here, so... i-it could be cooked." Akane said, looking around the place. "I hope someone will take it and cook it, so my hunt wouldn't be for nothing." She thought and was about to leave, but she looked at the fire and stared for a few seconds. "This place makes me feel a bit stronger somehow. I think it would be a great place to train, if I ever have to train on my own." She stayed near the fire for some time, when she finally decided to get some sleep.

The first thing that Conner did before he sat down on the ground was grab a few roasted Charlie legs. His stomach was growling at the scent of the delicious food. But before he took a bite out of anything, he looked at Kora. He wasn't sure if he was being a burden on her or if he was just being rude. "I'm sorry, I never even asked how've you been these past few years. Silly me. I've been so caught up in my affairs that I never bothered to ask about you." Despite being hungry, he was always taught to be kind to those who were kind to him.

It was hard to believe that someone like Draco could disappear. The guy stood out so much, being a Draconian and all. But maybe he just wanted to get away. Conner understood that more than anyone. "It seems like it's peaceful everywhere. It's like the calm before the storm, and I'm worried about the future of the nations. Something is at work here, I know it is." If a problem surfaced, hopefully Kusana would be able to deal with it. But he would stick around. Since the place lacked a captain, it meant that there was no high ranking soldier in the city to take the position. Until there was, Conner would protect this city. "Until someone rises in power to take that position, I would gladly pledge my services, handling any task that needs to be done. Well, if you would have me."

Although Kora didn't say it, Conner knew her reasoning. It was about Sutami, and Srin's death. Well, temporary death. That whole situation was misunderstood. Beth and Conner didn't really do anything to Sutami except arrive at the gates. It was one of their own that destroyed the city, and it was Beth that Shooped the hell out of Srin. Though, he didn't expect Kora to understand what it was like to be influenced by the strongest Sin. "Sutami wasn't Beth's or my fault. Before that, we both ascended the tower. Beth went into the room and then I was suddenly transported back. The next time I saw her, I knew she was different. Just by being around her I felt different." He didn't expect Kora to believe him or anything. He just wanted to tell her exactly how it went. "But I'll take it. It's better than nothing. Since I am not a member of Kusana, I'll stay somewhere in the country."

There ere definitely a lot of stories going around back then about the destruction of Sutami. Most of them painted Conner and Beth in a terrible way. "After we met in the tower, I sought Beth out. We actually became good friends at that tower. We helped each other out. But, like I said before, she changed. She was much cockier, and then the subject of Sutami came up. Beth wanted to rule, and Sutami seemed like an easy target. So went traveled there. When we got there, it seemed like they could sense the future or read minds or some s**t, because they were prepared. Turrets and the like. I took out the turrets easily, causing Srin to pop out. Beth took care of him. Suddenly, a rocket shoots up in the air and falls right down on Sutami. I glanced back and one of it's residents blew it up. Ghost, I believe his name was. With a destroyed city, we didn't seee much point in staying around. I stood long enough to see if anyone would come for him, and then you showed up. Then we left, and discovered an old city. We sent out word and it soon became repopulated. It was home. I trained a few people, as captain. Then a cleric stopped by, but was later killed by Fenrir. I asked Arete to bring her to you. Aaaaaand I'll stop with that."

Conner had expected more question, yet Kora didn't ask any. She must have had a lot of her mind. Either way, he turned his head toward his food and took a bite out of the charred charlie leg. It was evident that Kora still resented him for his part in Sutami, but there was nothing else Conner could do but hope for her forgiveness. When she mentioned Srin being alive, Conner shrugged it off. If the man resented him then he could get in line. There were a lot of people who Conner pissed off, so Srin wasn't even on his radar. "Thanks for the warning, but I'll handle it if it becomes a problem." He waved Kora goodbye, then looked straight into the fire. Every few seconds, he would feed the fire by sending a gust of wind straight into it. "Kora... I won't lie and say I am sorry. But I didn't kill anyone. Never have, never will."
