In the art of knowing when to quit... ~Akira Night~  Akira was confused by the statement and he stood there staring as if his mind were still trying to process it until it clicked and he nearly jumped across the forest before he caught himself on a tree almost falling into a small river his blood red eyes were wide as if he had been shocked by electric volts "WHA!?"  Itsuki smiles sweetly toward the girl.... "Now, now little girl. I think you have mistaken my friend for someone else..." Itsuki said sweetly... The girl shoke her head and pointed to Itsuki then Akira.... "Mommy....and....Daddy!" the girl said in a cute informing voince...

The girl shoke her head once again... "Mommy found me Daddy saved me. So you are Mommy and Daddy!" the girl informed like she knew what she was talking about.... Itsuki smiles sweetly... "It seems that the child think we are her parents." Itsuki quickly whispered to Akira, then said to the child... "Hold on sweetie! Mommy and Daddy need to talk." Itsuki told the child, signaling Akira to follow him over there...

Itsuki pulled at Akira's sleve to lower him to his level and whispered in his ear... "She is a fox demon like me, so when she used her magic I could get a glimpse on her soul. She is all alone, family dead. Apparently someone tried to kidnap her for her abilities and slaughtered them in the process. Survivers of the aftermath blamed her and tossed her away here...We can't leave her alone.. Itsuki explained an all too familier tale to Akira...

I'm telling you for my own personal sanity I can't be called a father to someone I haven't birthed. I'm sure there is a family that would be willing to take her in but I can't do that...." Itsuki whispered back understandingly... "Okay, I get that. Well, she made the link with us already, when I picked her up and when you saved her. THAT is why she saved you. Trust me my father told me all about it. So can't we take of her? I promise I will get her to stop calling you 'Daddy'" Itsuki begged...
