Bandi nodded and raised her with one of her arm around his shoulder. "He should be at his tent, right?" He asked. He eyed Evan and indicated that he should help with the other arm. "So are you about to explain who came in, how he did it?"

"Yeah, about that.... Weren't you supposed to have the perimeter secured?" Evan complained as he Picked up Ray's limp body. "Come along, child." Evan instructed the silver haired girl. "I'm Evan Darkwoods, now head priest of the temple."

Several still living soldiers began checking on those that lay about the ground seeing who among those that stood near Ameena were still alive. And which ones were wounded and needed immediate attention. Sci was grabbed up by two men that carried him off to a tent that had been turned from a meeting hall to a medical tent. The doctor on hand stopped Sci's bleeding wounds and wrapped his torso in bandages to keep the wounds he had stitched closed from reopening. The doctor also tried applying some burn salves to sci's body hoping they would at least help some with the acid like burns on sci's chest. The burns and wounds were not ordinary. The doctor could tell sci wasnt dead but without the healing powers of one of the true healers it would take a long time for sci to rise on his own power. Sitting up, standing, and walking all would need the help of someone else.

Yune shook her head and shivered as she thought about it “ Knowing that the battle was over i let the barrier down. The man, he traveled with the lightening, he came down from the heavens themselves. I wasn’t fast enough, I couldn’t bring up even my small barrier. He shattered it and with that, ran be through. Ray got it the worst though, because I was attacked, she got most of the pain. But then Hokyo came…He put me with Ray, if he had not, we would have died.” She did not know how much she should tell them, how much she had learned in her near death experience. But what she did know was that it was her duty to put that man’s soul to rest, despite Hokyo’s words.
Even after he was dead he was still a person and all people deserved to have a decent burial, something she knew that Hokyo would deny. Now she didn’t know how she knew these things, but her head was just filled with so many memories at that moment that she couldn’t separate the present from the past.

The Capital
Daton stopped a few steps up as he heard Blake speak, such a rash words and yet he couldn’t help but feel a bit of pride within himself, his children were finally growing up. To follow was such a simple manner in which people always seemed to do blindly. “As of this moment in time, I ask that all the Generals do as they see fit until tonight. Retrieving Kei’s body is a task I do ask to be completed but without anymore damage to my Generals, so Blake please be ready to run and return here quickly.” He spoke calmly for a man that had just lost one of the people he felt like his children.
“You will pay.” Dark spoke quietly to himself, but not loud enough for Daton could feel, he finally understood what Kei was saying, why Hokyo had left. Daton was not a man to be trusted; he was doing everything for his own personal gain.
Red Rebels
Hokyo watched as a few people came up and paid their last wishes to Ameena, people being carried off to tents from Kei’s attack, most would not survive the night. His hands remained clutched in his lap, if you looked at him; he appeared like a statue on a throne. His eyes were blank, and his face showed nothing, no concern, no smile, it was just plastered as normally as a painting. Though as one of the soldiers attempted to come up to him, he was stopped dead as a crackle of blue lighting crept across the ground around the man’s feet.
It was such a timid power that no one would’ve noticed that there was a bubble like power around Hokyo, it was guarding him from anyone that might approach him, but at the same time he would not move from the seat. Two days. Two days. Those were the words that ran through his mind, he was simply buying his time, he had no connection to the Red Kingdom anymore, they needed someone that could rule them, and it wasn’t him.

Blake gave a bit of a bow and looked to Dark. She hesitantly moved to his side and touched the man’s shoulder. She bit her lip a bit unsure of what to say but at the same time she knew exactly what needed to be said. ”Dark…don’t let anger cloud your judgment. This is not the end, and you will have your chance.” she thought his anger was towards Hokyo but either way her words held truth no matter who he was angry with. She offered a weak smile, which for her was probably a feet of greatness for she didn’t do that often.
Blake then stepped back and in a mini blizzard she vanished. She would have to be quick about this, even with her powers and the baby’s she would have to be careful and know that Hokyo was a changed man. When she arrived in Esta her hand went to her mouth in utter surprise. Keishiro had done this? She could see scorch marks and some things were just being put out. But what impressed her the most was the body count. There were many dead and many injured. It would have made her cry if she could muster up the emotion to do so.
There, atop the throne of bodies was Hokyo. He was solid as stone. But she held no ill intention so even her dark aura was rather mellow. But what she saw made her gasp with pain. Keishiro had been behead?! But even in such state the man’s head was smiling. She spotted his body and looked to Hokyo, so she put her body into action, first quickly gathering the man’s body before moving to the stake and gathering his head, pulling it from the stake. She held that to her chest, the blood still dripping and staining the frond of her white clothing. “Keishiro…. You did well….” A strange anger welled inside her as she looked to Hokyo.
“If they don’t kill you I will….. for doing this to my Keishiro…” she could see a few people nearing and the flow of time stopped around her, they froze in place but there was no ice involved. Ah yes this would be a good power indeed. The power to stop time. Either way she got what she came for so she vanished in another blizzard, Keishiro in tow.

Sheena had stood there in shock of what had happened. She had tears running down her face as she saw Ameena fall. She couldn't do a thing to save her. She couldn't do anything to save anyone, not her Mother and Father, not her homes, not even Ameena, the sweet young woman who had smiled at her and made Sheena smile again.
Sheena looked around at all of the people and saw the man Sci injured. She made her way over to him and placed her hand on his chest, "Please...allow me to help..." water formed around her hand and a cooling sensation would be coursing through his body. It was Sheena's healing power. She would use the healing properties of the water in her blood to heal anyone she could. This man Sci, needed it as well.
She spoke softly to him with tears running down her cheeks, "I...have to bring Ameena back. I know of only one way to do so," her heart pulsed in her chest as she thought about it, "I'll use the secret of the Sea Maidens, and call back her spirit..."

Kira's head turned toward her blonde friend as she spoke, and just hearing her voice was reassuring enough. She knew that, although she had just been terrified moments ago, things would be okay. And so, she rose her gloves hands to her face and wiped away the tears strewn across them. Even through her concern, she had an image to keep. The fact that these two men whom she had never met before had seen that she was crying was not good for her ego. She made a note to herself that she would never admit she had been crying, and she would just give them the excuse that everyone gave; she had something in her eye.
Her friend's still spirited nature calmed the thief, and she was able to sit still beside her and watch the healer fix the two's wounds. A soft smile made its way to her lips, and she fought off the tears that threatened to form from happiness. Now that she thought about it, she had just met this woman today. What had made her so attached to her, she had wondered, but she let the thought slide to the back of her mind. It didn't matter right now. All that mattered was that the two sisters were safe.
Though the thought of Yune and Ray having the same soul was strange to the silver haired girl, she wasn't very surprised. After all of the hocus pocus she'd witnessed throughout the day, she figured it would take her an enormous amount to impress her further. The thought made a chuckle escape her throat, and she shook her head.
Just then, the two men that had entered the temple had grabbed hold of both of the girls and lifted them from the ground. The thief's eyes followed them as they stood, and she found herself rising, and starting after them. Just then, her ears caught listen of something the man who was carrying Ray had said, and that made her usual old self quickly peer through her previously defeated appearance. She stomped her way out in front of the four of them, and stood at the doors to the temple. She turned on her heel, and placed her hands on her hips, staring directly at the man who now had revealed him as Evan, the high priest of the temple.
"Alright, listen here," She started as she looked over at the two newcomers, her old, rough tone back and ready to obliterate, "My name is Kira, and I sure as hell am not a child. So, I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me one," She finished as she turned back around and started out. Yes, he was most likely just speaking in his priestly way, but it annoyed her, and she would not let him get away with it. It was humiliating.
A moment later, Gizmo had appeared to her side staring up at her. He inched close to her, concerned for his friend, and took his usual seat atop her shoulder. He looked out ahead of them, and let out a deep sigh.
"Here I was thinking I'd come back and surprise you with my newfound voice, and all this trouble happens," he said with a hint of laughter in his voice. He was half joking, but even so, he had hoped to surprise her.

Sci sat up his body ached and groaned as if he had pulled every muscle in his body all at once. He could breathe easier thank fully but it still hurt. Sci looked at the girl and smiled." Thank you." Sci stood to his feet his body fighting him as he stood up. He had to find Hokyo he had to find him and swear his allegiance to Hokyo till the debt of his failure could be fulfilled. He had failed other employers before but not like this he had never lost a life under his protection.

Sheena looked at him, smiling softly that he was now feeling better. She then stood up and made her way over to Ameena's form. She cried softly and placed her hand on the girl's face, that was now growing cold, "M-My lady..."
Her heart pulsed. And she then looked to Sci, "There might be a way to save her..." she stood up and walked next to him. Her voice was gentle, and still holding the siren's tone, "Though, we must find the man with red hair, Hokyo. Also, be careful not to push yourself, sir, my healing may have repaired your injuries, but the energy of your body needs to restore itself..."
She reached out and held his hand, she knew the risk of what she was willing to do to restore Ameena, but she had to do it. It was who Sheena was, she gave everything and received nothing in return. "Let us go...together?"

Sci took her hand. He would have been embarrassed any other time to hold a strangers hand but he needed the help at this point and wouldn't deny it. His pride wasn't that big that he couldn't accept help." I think that would be a good idea." Sci held her hand tightly keeping himself up right mostly by her strength. He had no more of his own. Sci felt as if he hadn't done enough. He felt he could have done something else. He knew he could have and that was why he felt as if he had simply given up. Sci wanted to some how apologize to Hokyo.

Sheena looked at him and smiled softly, "Thank you...now just lean on me," she held onto him, even though she wasn't really strong physically, she was able to keep him up. Her touch was gentle and light and she held him close to her in order to keep him up.
She could feel his hand tightening around hers, she could feel his lack of energy and all she wanted to do was will her own strength into him. But, right now, she needed to save as much energy as she could for if there would be any chance in saving Ameena. The chance was slim, but so long as they didn't wait too long, the chance was still there.
She looked at Sci with soft blue eyes, the ripples showing in their depths, "I know you tried to protect the young lady...but I can give you a second chance. If we hurry and get back in time, I can restore her life. Know that I will do anything to do so...she did not deserve that fate and I will do anything to correct it..." her glittery tears flowed down her face again as she spoke, "My name is Sheena...by the way."

Sci looked at her his dark blue eyes trying to project strength even though he had none." My name is Sci...... and...... I thank you....... for your help...... But I..... failed at..... protecting her...... all I........ could do was.... stand there..... I took...... his attack but....... I failed to...... save her life....... I couldn't stand....... to take another........ attack it...... would have killed....... me. But because.......... I couldnt stand........ the pain I .........lost all.......... consciousness... If I could...... have taken.... another..... attack maybe I could...... have delayed...... him long.... enough for Hokyo..... to come..... and protect her." Sci heard her say that he could get another chance." Why not.. give.. the second... chance... to Hokyo?.."

Bandi nodded to show that he understood, although he wasn't sure HOW he understood. It was as though the knowledge was inherent in his blood. Bandi smiled at Kira. "Being a priest, he tends to call everyone Child. You don't have to be offended by him." He explained. "My name is Bandi. I'd shake your hand, but I'm holding a wounded pers-" He was shortly interrupted as a blue spark of lightening crackled at his feet.
Bandi could see that Hokyo wanted to be undisturbed by the loss of a loved one. But he was a leader. Whether he liked it, wanted it, or was forced into it, he was a man in a position where everyone looked up to. Some of these people have gone against Daton's will solely because they believed in him. He doesn't GET to sulk.
Bandi furrowed his brows and gripped Yunari tighter. "Kira, Evan, stay close." He instructed and a blue magic circle appeared beneath their feet. Bandi then took a step forward, and another bolt of lightening came at them. But this time, it struck outside the circle. As the group pressed on, more strikes were made, but they all missed.
When they finally arrived in front of Hokyo, Bandi glared at him with stern eyes. "Hokyo."

When Yunari stood before the red haired man she felt her thought leave her. She no longer cared about the other man who had attempetd to klill her but this one. He was broken, a creature who had his spirit crushed and ripped to peieces. When she looked to the dead woman she knew exactly why too. She stood firmly on her own feet, feeling as if she had found new strength. She gave Bandi and apologetic look and managed to get to her own feet. She fellt the paion of her wound but it was nothing compared to what she had to do. “I thank you Bandi…. But there is something I have to do now.”
She marched across the ground, a new found energy fueling her mission. She lifted her hands and formed a barrier, even if the others could not see it, she could, as she was sure Bandi had seen it when he made that circle thing. She get closer and her bubble hit his, this negated the effect and she pulled her hand back. With a slight wince of pain her hand made contact with the red haired man’s face. The sound of the smack rang out around the area, calling attention to her as she reached down and grabbed at he front of his shirt. She could feel the blood on his clothing, it was her own blood. Normally this would have grossed her out but her bigger mission made her forget that.
She pulled, though it caused her pain and in the end she was pulled clsoer to the man instead of the other way around “Hokyo Cumen! Wake your damn a** up!” She was yelling, on the verge of screaming at the man by now. Her body shook with both pain and anger but which one was more powerful was beyond her. “Damn it. Why won’t you be the man I know you can be?! Where is the smile? Where’s the courage and strength? Where is the man I once loved? Don’t tell me my past self was so stuck in her ways that she loved some pathetic creature who buried his face in the dirt because of one mishap! Hokyo! Everyone dies, people get sick, s**t happens. But we have to open our eyes and move on. This is but one life, she will come back in the next as we all have for hundreds of years.”
The pain, that is what won in the end because she was on her knees in front of the man though her hands clung tightly to his shirt as she gasped for breath. “Cumen…. Where are you? Don’t tell me that this is what you have become, this coward who hides behind the blood and pain. Where is the man who caused me so much pain? Where is the man who shattered my heart over and over again but still came back.” Her shaking was even greater then before as tears began to fall down her cheeks “Where is Hokyo Cumen? Where are you hiding him?’. Her past self had relied so much on him, he was the pillar of support in her whole world but even now she knew that couldn’t continue. She couldn’t love him in this life because doing so had made her weak, had made her hope for something that never came.
This time, this time she would be his pillar.
