Edel blinked. "Erm, no. It's fine. Worth a try." she replied. She motioned towards Felicia, but nothing happened. Her frown grew. She had wanted a door to the bathroom to appear beside her. Seemed her home was under too much stress at the moment.
"I don't care! That was way too much noise for-" Reaper growled as he came around the corner of the hall, looking back at whoever was following him. His words were cut short the moment he turned around to face the obliterated room....and the people standing around.
....namely Felicia.

Felcia immediately turned beet red and started trying to get the towel to cover more of her than it physically could. Strange watched this with a mildly interested expression. "Hm? Oh. Yes. Definitely worth a try."
"I. Will. Murder. You,' Felicia muttered, still trying to get the towel to behave. She was pointedly not looking at Reaper.

"...........will someone please tell me what's going on?" Reaper mumbled, his face red now as well as he tried to focus his attention on.....someone else.
Edel sighed and waved her hand at Felicia this time rather than the wall. The towel she was trying so hard to make fit suddenly grew and wrapped around her, turning into a large, fuzzy robe.
"In a moment, dear." she said, then looked at Felicia. "I'm sorry. There's a bathroom down the hall and to the left. There should be a bedroom right across from it that's fully stocked with clothes if you want to change into something."

A furiously blushing Felicia smiled a little, nodded, and headed down the indicated hall, hugging the fuzzy bathrobe around her impulsively. A moment later, a door closed with a light 'snap'.
Strange shrugged at Reaper. "I honestly have no idea."

Edel sighed, then turned towards Strange first. "I'm sorry. Normally I don't demand help so urgently like that. I'm fully capable of taking care of things myself. But....this is the second time my home has been invaded and attacked. I'm.....rather tired of it. Very tired of it. I had wanted to talk to you earlier about my first invader but.....other things came up." she said, crossing her arms. "I really didn't mean to drag you over here like that. Had I known that woman would take care of the problem, I wouldn't have even bothered you. I apologize for my rudeness."

Strange shook his head. "Lady Edel, I'm happy to help out in whatever way I can. You didn't drag me away from anything that I can't go back to. I'm only sorry that I couldn't help more."

Edel gave him a small smile. "Thank you." she replied, then paused a moment in thought. "Actually...I had been wanting to speak with you. How much of your....research have you been able to go through?"

Edel frowned. "Oh. Does he have that much information about what's happened." she asked. She had been hoping that he'd gotten more accomplished than just the notes. Then she blinked and looked back at her destroyed room. "Oh, would you be able to walk and talk? I really mustn't leave my guests in such condition..." she said as she started into the room.

Strange started after her at once. "Of course. Er... I also managed to supplement my own spells somewhat, but that's been pretty slow going. He catalogs things obsessively, but doesn't put much effort into writing down how to perform the magic he's cataloging." He paused, thinking. "I also read up on X, Speatre, the Phantom Stranger, and most of the other high priority things. I should tell you right now that as of this moment, all of those people outclass me by a whole hell of a lot."

Edel nodded back at him as she ducked under the web of threads still hovering about. She bent down next to one of the Fates and placed her hands over her, glittering silver light falling over her. "Well...the Phantom Stranger you should not have to worry about. Nor the Spectre. Well....for now at least. I'm currently trying to work on a spell that will help him deal with X. As long as X doesn't find out about the trick, I don't forsee him messing with you, or us, anytime soon." she said.
The woman on the ground coughed, then began growling out something that was incoherent. Edel stood and moved over to the other Fate, glancing back at Strange. "As for the books and spells, I can help you with them if you would like. I have some spells that will not only make it easier for you to understand some of the spells, but also extend the amount of time you have to research. Sort of like doing three hours work in literally only five minutes, and having little to no fatigue afterwards. I personally don't like to let people use such spells, I feel like it's cheating, but I believe the situation more than calls for it." she said, bending down again. "I should also be able to multi-task and help you with some of your research first hand if you'd like. Perhaps even let you stay here and..........no. Nevermind. I don't want yet another visit. I'll bring my books over to your place." she mumbled, frowning.

Steven was studying what she was doing magically with an intense expression; he was probably analyzing her spell work. "That all sounds great."

Edel glanced up at him as she worked on reviving the last of her injured guests, and smiled a bit. "Very well then. Once I'm sure my guests are alright, I'll go about collecting some things you may find useful." she replied. "And thank you again for coming over on such utterly short notice. I know I've already apologized, but I really don't normally act like that."
Once Latchesis began coughing and swearing as well, Edel stopped her spell and stood again.
"He took her, didn't he?" the first Fate growled. She was on her feet and leaning on her staff for support. Her hair curtaining her face, leaving only a sharp, angry frown visible on her face.
"....yes. We'll get her back." Edel said, glancing over at the woman.

Strange stepped back, his face showing concern and confusion in equal parts. He could tell that these were magically significant beings, and knew enough to guess that it was tied up in luck or destiny magic of some kind, but...
Felicia slipped down the hall, wearing a gorgeous, gauzy, light pink gown of multi-layered, shimmering silk. It made her cheeks look very pink, and her eyes look very green. Despite being lovely, it really wasn't her usual sort of thing, and it was clear from the resigned look on her face that she thought she looked ridiculous. She was still trying to push her damp hair into some semblance of order as she sauntered over to Strange on silent, bare feet. Was he younger? "Do I get to ask what the hell just happened?" she purred, voice entirely too pleasant.
Steven glanced at her, smiled a small but obviously appreciative smile, and turned back to Edel. "Not right now. Be a good girl and wait your turn."

Reaper watched Cat return to the hall, and kept watching her for a long few moments after she had stopped. It definately wasn't the sort of thing he was used to seeing her in, but....still. It looked beautiful on her. The way the color brought out her eyes and hair.
Edel carefully stepped out of the room, making sure that her two guests were still alright, then looked over at Felicia. She smiled as her eyes flickered over the dress she was wearing. She could tell from the look on the girls face she wasn't pleased with the selection she had to choose from. "I'm sorry there aren't any more modern outfits up here. Normally whatever you like would appear once you opened the closet door. But...as you can see, my home is under a little stress right now. Any luxuries are being put on hold right now." she said.
"A little stress?" Clotho grumbled. "How did zat creature get into your fortress of a home anyway?"
Edel hesitated a moment. "Well...it could be from the stress my home was put under when the being that kidnapped everyone invaded my home earlier. Then I had other guests to tend to, larger spells to invoke....really, I'm not sure myself."
Lachesis glared at her as she pulled her spindle from the ashes. "So our sister was kidnapped because you were preoccupied? Very professional." she growled.
"I'll get her back." Edel replied in a calm tone. As much of one that she could manage anyway.
