"All right!" Shizu smiled, picked Tsipora up and opened a a hole into the place between dimensions,"this dimension is farther from here than Takeshi's, so hold on tight!"
She then walked in, holding onto Tsipora tightly as dimensional winds attempted to steal her beloved away from her to be lost between forever.

Tsipora held on to Shizu's hand tightly, nto wanting to get lost. All this was new to her. She had never managed somethign like this would be possible.

After a few minutes of searching [[even though time doesn't technically exist Between]], Shizu found the portal that she was searching for and she stepped through it pulling Tsipora with her. The portal let them out in a futuristic dimension outside a dance hall blasting techno.
"And we have arrived! This is a popular spot for shifters like me to hang out and party all night 'till the sun comes up! Realizing this, the owners of this club made it more user-friendly. You'll see what I mean when you see the wide range of people there-in!"

Tsipora stuck close to Shizu, looking around at everythign in amazment.
((She just went from no indoor plumbing to all this....))

Shizu waltzed past the bouncer, waving to her as they passed.
Inside it was impossible to hear what anyone was saying, so Shizu just dragged Tsipora to the dancefloor and started dancing. After a couple of fast paced songs, the DJ broke it up a bit with a slow dance.

Of course, being new to this, Tsipora was completely awkward on the dancefloor, and tried to sneak away.

noticing this, Shizu followed Tsipora to one of the quieter side-venues populated by many different modes of beings.

Shizu was bad at explaining things, so she led Tsipora into a tutorial chamber. It was kind of like a personal holodeck whose purpose was to explain the time period and what everything meant. This chamber was usually reserved for hatchlings, newly created androids and clones.

After coming out, Tsipora was still pretty confused. 'But...how....??" She clutched the sides of her head. "My brain hurts!!"

"Easy, my dear," Shizu smiled as Tsipora came out, "we've shifted dimensions. And don't ask me how that's done 'cause it's a trade secret." She winked and led Tsipora into an adjacent dimension where there was currently a parade for the general public to do whatever with.

Tsipora considered something. "Wait...so..what my Dad invisioned was true? Microchips and things like that? It'll really happen?!"
