Libby
It was killing her, ripping her apart from the inside out. You protect your charge against all harm and yet he was still crying. She followed the pair, wearing her angry face. Seth's question stopped her in her tracks.
"No, you didn't, you damn - ugh," she shouted at him. "You were doing a freaking victory lap and stumbled. Thank whatever God that you believe in that I got to you when I did, stupid human." She was on the move now and passed them straight. Van tried to hold her back but Libby just sidestepped him. "No, I'm sorry about the bike but he's alive and not even injured."
The demon walked on. Why was she angry? At whom was she angry? She did not want to deal with the bike, with Seth, Seth and Angel or what happened before all this drama. She turned again, walking backwards. "And if you haven't figured it out as yet, I'm not going home with you!"
Part of her wanted him to stop her but the rest was waiting to push him away if that happened. Damn these human emotions.

Aimee
Again, Lilly looked impressed by Vincent's accomplishments.
"You've been to China? I've always wanted to go. How is it, there? Besides being Red, I mean. I'm a little surprised they let you look at the old texts, really. Seems like that would be something they wouldn't let outsiders near."
Her index finger started tracing little circles on Vincent's thigh. They were mostly innocent. Mostly. Lilly wasn't that kind of girl, of course, no matter what Aimee liked to say. But that's not to say she didn't enjoy teasing the men folk some. It was all harmless fun, anyhow. Not like she could think about sleeping with this one. He was Aimee's; she'd marked her territory already. Lilly smiled down at the ground. Just thinking of her friend always made her smile.
"So not only did you study abroad, but you lived on the beach for at least ten years? You don't look old enough to have accomplished all those things, Vincent."
[Sorry it took so long to get back to you; had to take a shower. Imogene attacked me with her vomit. While it was cute, it stunk. XP]

Seth
Seth looked up at her from where he was sitting, Angel looked like she would jump Libby, but Seth didn't let her, it was easy, he had only known her two days now, he had the bike for three years, been dreaming about Angel for half a year. It was easy, yet he didn't want to do it, not now.
"Fine, I don't care." Seth hung his head again, the fight was gone, just misery at losing something he put his heart and soul in, what he saw as his escape from the past when it encroached to much.
"Van can you take her, where ever." Seth got up and stuffed the rest of the cash in a inside pocket, the pink slips into the crews hands.
"Take the other two to the shop, strip em and save the parts. I'll send you the plans for the St. Claire. It is nearly perfect." The all nodded, they knew that was going to be the next project, but they hadn't known he named the new bike. He pulled Angel over to a Kawasaki Ninja and started the much smaller bike after removing the back seat cover.
"I'll bring this over with the plans. I'm off tomorrow, we'll get started on it asap." They all nodded again and Seth took off, his confidence at a point lower than it had started the day before he bought the bracelet.
((I'll play Van for now.))

Vincent
Vincent looked down at her hand wanting to stop her from making a mistake, he didn't though, it was easy to pass off Aimee's request as just that. His own hand began to glide across her upper arm and draw intricate patterns, though not enough to make her question how he kept up with them.
"I'm older than my good looks imply Lilly, that's all I'm gonna say. I'm self conscious about my age, Aimee doesn't even know." Not really. Didn't help that even he wasn't sure about how long he had been alive. Three, four million years. Long enough to watch humanity evolve from primitives to what they are now.
"The countryside is beautiful, where the wall is it is breathtaking, a sky that goes on forever, broken only by the occasional mountain top." He had lived in China for nearly a thousand years, he had spun lies in the dragon Emperors ear driving him insane with the idea that immortality was possible. Vincent had even drank liquid mercury in front of the man to show that it had healing properties. Sick for a week.

Libby
Libby watched the boy as he left - with his precious Angel, of course. Everyone else was looking at her as though she was a mad woman but a hard enough glare sent them the other way. She glanced over at Van and twisted her mouth apprehensively. Despite her treating him like crap, Seth was still making sure to take care of her. That was supposed to be her job. Her feet took a few steps in the direction of the crew and stopped. She sniffled even though she had not been crying.
"How much do the repairs cost?" she asked, referring to Raithsburne.
[okay~]

Van
Van watched as Seth left on the newly won bike and laughed, that kid hates those Japanese craps, Van loved them. His crew already had both the other bikes loaded up and Raithsburne in the back of two pickups.
"The bike coast nearly ten thousand dollars to finish upgrading Libby. He bought it as a wreck and worked on it himself till he brought to us. Its not entirely cost of repairs its the emotional attachment he put into it, he wasn't going to sell her, not ever." He looked up at the silver bike and smiled at the beast.
"Clutch is destroyed, springs, chain, gears, and all four cams will have to be replaced. So at least two thousand dollars, I'll wait before I touch her though. He might not want to revive the Raithsburne and concentrate all his money of, what he call the new bike?"

Seth
Seth had driven the bike very docile, his confidence shaken up and his driving reflecting it, he looked like a new rider. Angel seemed even more scared of this kind of driving than his reckless. When they finally made it back to the dorm, she got off and when he did, he let the bike fall to the ground. He didn't care about the bike at all, it was a stupid Asian crotch rocket. Angel looked up sadly and said something that barely processed.
"I don't know what's going to happen to Raithsburne. It hasn't processed yet. I put everything I had into that bike, working full time and coming to school full time, and doing side jobs to have it build." He walked into dorm and she followed him. She didn't ask to enter, she just followed and Seth stripped down to the skin tight under suit he wore under the full leather riding suit, laying one bed and thinking. She hoped on the bed and lay next to him. Again she spoke and he barely heard him.
"I don't want your sympathy Angel." Angel looked angry for a second and then forced herself on him and in his grief he let her.

Libby
The part of about the emotional attachment was bothering her. She should have saved the bike as well. Why did she not? Had she been locked up for so long? Van's question shook her out of her reverie.
"St. Claire, he was going to call her that," the demon tried to settle her anger levels and walked around the pickups slowly, remembering what needed to be fixed and the cost."Would it make a difference if I can the money by tomorrow afternoon? You don't need to carry me anywhere, like if you'd want to. I'll meet you by the shop, your shop." It would not be too different from what she had done to get the clothes but there would be a couple of obstacles. She faced him. "What do you say?"

Van
Van looked at her for a second wondering if she could do what she said she could do. Two grand in less than a day. Was it possible, well it was, Seth just won twenty four grand in three minutes. He also wrecked his pride and joy.
"Like I said, not gonna touch that bike till he wants me to even if you have the money. He might just want to scrap it and use the parts to start on the St. Claire, but yeah, money always helps." His guys hopped into the trucks and drove off.
"Are you sure you don't need a ride, I mean Seth already lost one love, I don't wanna be responsible for losing a good friend of his."

Libby
This made her laugh. "A good friend, huh? Do good friends let their friends hurt like I've made Seth?" She looked up at him with a lazy smile. "I didn't think so but yeah, you can go ahead. If it's one thing I've learnt is that I can take care of myself better than others."
With that said, Libby walked out of the grounds, head down and her mind already working on how to go about probably the craziest thing that she had ever done for one of her charges. She did not know anyone here but maybe that was a good thing. Hopefully, the necessary measures would not take too much out of her. "See you tomorrow, Van." And, she was gone around the corner.

Van
Van watched her go and then slid into his Monte Carlo. The engine roared to life and he was gone back to his flat above the shop. That girl was strange, but very interesting.
Seth
Seth lay under the sheets and huge comforter of his bed, Angel was there as well. She was asleep, he was about to fall asleep, thinking back on the last two hours of his life. Nearly died, nearly. Libs protected me, but she had to, why didn't she save the bike? Lost virginity, Angel made a confession that she was a virgin breaker. He chuckled and finally the sandman's sand took effect.

Libby
She did not particularly like the night but for jobs like these, it was simply perfect. Libby allowed herself to become immersed in people's most insecure but humble thoughts, using the purity for her own wicked gain. That was fairly easy. The difficult part was twisting her words in the ears of her potential victims until they gave their hard earned cash willingly to a stranger. As she soaked in the lack of confidence, letting it hang around her in an almost dark aura, the demon walked away from the campus. This could not get back to Seth any sooner than the day that Van fixed up Raithsburne.
Once she was like ten to fifteen miles away and in the heart of town, Libby set out to work. First, she tried her luck with the singular walkers. Her eyes had shifted colour completely to brown so as not to alert anyone too soon. "Hey," she began, halting an already shaken young man, clutching something to his chest, "Can I interest you in something?"
The boy looked her over once, twice and then, there was that disgusting smile.
Libby kept herself from ripping his head off and returned the smile. "Oh no, I've got something much, much better than that."
This put him back on edge as was evident by the nervous shaking of his head.
"But, it will be fun," she pouted, pulling him out of the way of others and almost dragging him into a nearby alley. She leaned into him, using her body just a bit, "All you have to do is give me your money. You don't really need it, do you? Give me some of that - change." The chills were obvious as the human shivered but was still refusing her. He was getting ready to scream, she could tell. "Look - Arthur, was it? - you can get more dough than that in less the time but I'll need an investment."
"Why, why don't you just go to a bank or something? Leave me alone." His voice was quivering literally. Libby let go of him and sighed.
"Get out of here." When he did not move, she said again, "Get out of here but if you want to stay, I need something else." She fed in her unique method and left him there, almost a corpse, void of anything. He could not even feel frightened, poor guy. Libby continued but apart from the rarities, there was not much to get out this way. She would have to go bigger and that is what carried her back to the Black Velvet Roses club. It was too close to the campus for her liking but banks were pushing it. Her eyes reverted to their usual colour and she tied the jacket around her waist. Primary task was to get past the bouncer - piece of cake. The demon headed for the back room as if she owned the place and dared anyone mentally to try and stop her. It was not long before she was in front of the manager.
"What do you want?" he asked gruffly. This man was no Arthur.
"I need fifteen hundred cash and you're going to give it to me - tonight," Libby responded coolly. She was working on how to persuade this human and kept her eyes on his.
He laughed. It was like a humourous blech. "Oh, am I? How do you figure that?"
"Like any other well-trained business woman would, I persuade you by any means necessary."
"Will you work for it?"
She knew what he was asking for and took everything in her not to spit in face. "What do you need?" Another chuckle from the man and two pairs of arms were on her. A lead dancer, how interesting.
When Libby left the club, morning was trying to shine upon her. Daywalkers were already en route to their respective duties. She followed suit and headed for Van's shop. With whatever strength she had left, the demon climbed up to his flat and through a hole that was always there, she shoved three grand into his place along with a note stating that he should keep his mouth shut about it. Then, it was Seth's dorm. He had said something about being off today. It did not matter. Libby waded through the crowd of college students and sat by his door. Her appearance was less than pleasing, tattered and dirty but the key was still at her neck.
[A wall of text, fear it.]

Alexandria
Alex moved out of the shower and kept walking as she dried herself with a towel walking into the room. Since she didn't know where any clean clothes are if there were any she kept the towel on and sat on the bed before laying down the towel in her hair came out letting her wet hair sprawl over the bed and she fell asleep like that.

Aimee
Lilly nodded knowingly. That makes since. Otherwise, she wouldn't be with him; Aimee doesn't like older guys, like I do. She rested her head against Vincent's shoulder.
"It sounds wonderful. You should take Aimee with you, sometime. If you ever go back, I mean. She's wanted to go, too. Ever since she was a little girl, like me. I hate to say it, but I don't think that she'd appreciate it as much as someone else might."
Lilly giggled.
"She's just wanted to go everywhere, in the world. Even to Antarctica. But my silly flapper girl is afraid of planes, trains and automobiles."
Back home, Aimee had run into a block on how to tie the short story together. She resorted to the pass time that had always helped her think: chain smoking and pacing back and forth, back and forth around their tiny dorm. Already, the crystal ashtray that Lilly had given her one year as a birthday present was overflowing with still warm butts of her fags, blue-grey smoke trailing up from the bowl.

Seth
Seth groaned as light filtered through the window and he turned realizing that Angel was in the bed with him, her nude body rubbing against his. He pulled her arms off him gingerly and rolled out of bed and padded into the bathroom. He let hot water run down his body as he thought about last night. His mind's eye running over the events and realized that he had passed the piece of metal that made his bike buck.
"I had perfect control of the bike and that piece of metal ******** me." His fist slammed into the tile cracking it with the force, there was a minor scream from his room and he forgot that the wall connect just at the bed. Seth got out of the shower and padded back in the room with just the towel around his waist.
"Sorry." Seth turned at the sound of a key inserting itself into the lock.
