Candi looks up at him curiously as she packed up. She looks down and sees the boy from district 3, she scowls at him.

Hakeem slowly turns to her and motions for both of them to hurry up. He quickly finished packing their stuff and motioned for her to get on his back. "We can move faster if you climb on" he whispered.

She nods and climbs on slowly. She closes her eyes for a moment, praying that they'll make it, or at least Hakeem.

When she was on his back he held their bags in his mouth, launched himself to the next tree. He continued to hop from tree for about 30 min. He finally stopped at an old but sturdy looking tree and the closest branch to the ground was about 50 feet up. He found a deep whole in the tree. It went down about 10 feet with footholds so they could climb out, and its diameter was about 8ft diameter. He put their bags in then he let candie go in. He climbed in after her, "It's not permanant but it'll do for a little while." he said looking around at the small confinment.

She nods and climbs down a little bit so she couldnt see outside. She sits close to him, holding his hand.

Hakeem intertwined their fingers together. He smiles, "Is it me or does it seem like most of the other districts are coming after us two spacifically?"

She smirks, "Yeah, I dont think they like us much." She says with a small laugh. "I find it amusing." she says.

"Yeah, he's pretty good at sneaking though. I didnt even hear him running or anything.... Or I'm just not a good listener." She says giggling.

"ha well i think he's just a bit of a creep. He was the first person i fought when we came in, hes pretty strong. I'd rather not run into him too often if possible."he gave a half joking smile.

"I fought him also. Well, fight isnt a good word for it." She says and blushes. She keeps her eyes down at her feet, sighing softly.

He looked into her eyes for a split second then quickly though what he'd say. He wraped his arm around herthen kissed her "well hopefully we wont run into him anymore"
