Jet believed he under stood. "Okay, I think I got it." Jet was about to say some thing more, when his phone rang. Jet rolled his eyes and looked.at his phone. "Wow, great timing mom." He looked up at Dimitri as he stood up. "Can you fill in for me for a sec." Jet didn't say another word as he answered his phone. "Hi mom. Mom...mom why are you crying!?" Jet left the room to talk in private. He walked to the back pourch. "Okay, mom, just cslm down." Jet layed the phone down and put it on speaker. "Okay, whats wrong?"
"Oh, baby. Those stupid people want to close the ranch." Jets mom sobbed. "And the only way to get enough money is to cell some of the horses..."
"You can't get rid of them!!" Jet snapped.
"Jet, that is the only way for us to get money." She pleaded.
"Which horses?" Jets voice was cold and harsh.
"Well... Mostly, Fighter...."
"You cant get rid of him!!" Jet got even angrier at the thought of giving away his dads horse.
"Jet, we gotta. They said we got to many to keep." Jets mom sobbed.
A sudden idea washed away Jets anger. "I can take them. Fighter, Diamond, Kate and Junebug. I've already talked to Jorden, I can take them." Jet was now exsided. "I'll been down there.... as soon as I can. Bye." Jet hung up and hurried back into the house. He had forgotten about cartwr in the drama, and walked right past him as he went to find Jorden.
Adrian didn't smile. "Yeah, I know." His voice was nothing more then a low whisper now. He was to wrapped up in the moment, and just didn't feel like talking any more. He continued on kissing Savanah's neck. Adrain managed to slip his shirt off, still under savanah.
Adrian sudly checked his pocket for some thing. Okay, I'm good. no way in hell was he willing to have another child.

Carter watched Jet walk out, and his smile dissapered instantly. Again? Mommy and Daddy left him. Uncle Jorden ignores him. Uncle Micheal is gone. Uncle Kaidne left him. Aunt Melody won't let Uncle Rudi near him. Now Uncle Jet left him. With no reason. Like the others. He sank down, and stared at the game board, suddenly having no desire what ever to play it.
Dimitri grabbed Carter's chin, and jerked his head so he looked at the older man. It didn't scare, or hurt Carter. He had quickly come to understand with Dimitri, it was fast and furious, or it didn't happen in the first place.
Dimitri was grimacing. "Don't. Think. That. Okay? That's not what's happening, okay? I can see it in your eyes. Everyone's just...busy..."
Carter shook his head. "Uncle Jorden yelled at me. He scares me..." He stuck out his bottom lip.

Savanah rubbed her eyes. She had fallen asleep. She looked around, and saw that she was in Adrian's bed. Oh...yeah. She smiled, and yahned. "Wooooww..."

"I'm not busy." Kaidne said from the door way. He had only be there long enough to hear what Dimitri said. He had litterly, just missed Jet. "I'm just.... under watch." Kaidne found a nice way of putting it. Truth was, he was suffering from detox. Intence rehab. But, to day, he felt better then before and wanted to see Carter.
Kaidne walked in and sat down next to Carter and hugged him. "Sorry I've been gone. Just... having a hard time right now. But, nothing a little kid could fix." Kaidne let go of Carter and looked at Dimitri. "Any thing happen while I was gone that I should know about?"
Adrian had been fast asleep. He started to drift awake, and was delighted from the dream he had, had last night.
Adrian was mostly awake, when he noticed, savanah in his arms. In his bed. He smiled. That wasn't a dream.
A knock on the door scared the crap out of Adrian. He whichly sat up. "Are you guys awake yet? Or do I have to wait for you two some more?" Andrew's voice carrie quite well through the door.
"Yeah you two. Wake up!" Liz said after Andrew.
"Sh*t!" Adrian scrambled out of bed. He had completely forgotten about Liz and Julia. Well, it would be hard to remember any thing last night. Adrian quickly pulled on a pair of jeans.
"Bye." Andrew said. Then adrian could hear both liz and andrew leave back down the hall.
Adrian looked over at savanah. "Sorry. You made me forget all about them." Adrian said with a pleasent smile on his face. He walked over and sat down on the bed. He leaned down and kissed savanah. "I love you." He said softly ageinst her lips.

Savanah laughed softly. "I love you too." She whispered. "Now...Um...I'll be back..." She went through Adrian's closet. She hadn't brought clothes. She thought this trip would take...like...a few hours..."I'm gonna look like you for a day, okay?" She said, pulling out a (hope this is what he would have) pair of destroyed jeans, high tops, and a black tee. She observed herself in the mirror. "Hum...a little big, and the shoes are too big, but we could totally swap clothes. Scary. Your too tall..." She complained. The high tops were almost completly concealed by the jeans. Then, she registered her body. She fell back on the bed, now noticing that she hurt. She shook it off, and kicked Adrian's leg. "Come on." She hopped out of the room, waiting for him in the hall.

Adrian smiled. "Liz could wear my cloth juat fine. Same with Andrew." Adrian followed Savanah into the hall. "You, I'm starving. I don't think I've eaten since we left." He wrapped an arm around savanahs waist and lead her diwn stairs to the kitchen.
Adrian stopped in shock when he saw Jared and Alec. "Holy crap, I thought you two left."
"Yeah when did this happen." Jared said. He was his normal perky hyper salf. He was slaving over a hot... toaster. Yeah, jared can't cook. Alec was sitting at the bar in the kitchen, a cup of coffee infrint of him. He looked dead, he was that tired.
Adrian smiled. "Did you get any sleep last night?" I teased.
Alec looked up at me devilish. "No." He then glared at Jared. "Somebody kept me up all night." Jared smiled cheerfully.
Alec sighed then head his head up with his hands. Adrian shook his head then went to the fridge. "So, what would you like?" Adrian asked savanah as he looked through thw fridge.

Savanah still felt sore. "Um...I'm fine. I'll eat later." She sat down, and leaned agaisnt the table top. "I'm tired, that's all. Why are you two so perky?" She glared jelously at Jared and Adrian. She flopped back down, still dead tired, even though she woke up on her own free will.
Carter leaped up in utter joy. "Uncle Kaidne!!" He screamed, and litterally tackled him to the couch, hugging, and talking in a rush. "Uncle Kaidne, do you want to play a game? Uncle Jet was going to play, but he left, so I didn't want to play anymore, but now your back, and I want to play again!!" He said this in under five seconds, no breaks. It was like one big word. He jumped up, and hopped into Dimitri's lap. "Uncle Dimitri is really bad at this game." Carter grinned.
Dimitri shrugged, as if to say 'I submit to your child-like awesomeness.'
((I've spent too much time around Zoey...just ignore that sentence...))
"Do you wanna play Uncle Kaidne?" Carter settled down, and pointed to the blue figure. "You get to be that one, if you do."

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ I smiled at the little Carter. "Sure, of course I'll play with you." I started to move closer to Carter. Out of nowhere, Jets annoying little dog, Maybelle, came running past me barking. Her bark was high pitched, shrill and well... annoying. Thus scared the hell out of me. I jumped, then she came and started licking me, her dog dander getting all over me. I nearly tossed the dog away in disgust. Maybelle cowered and whimpered over to Carter. I cough. A freakin, i'm dying kind of cough. I shook it off. That was normal for me. But it was when I couldn't cetxh my breath after words, when this turned not normal. God, I hate asmia attackes. It usually happened when I was scared, worked up, over whelmed, around smoke and dogs. I tried to casually breathe, thinking this would pass. I didn't want to alarm any one. I coughed again, ehich hurt like hell, thanks to my closed up lungs. After that, I knew it wasn't going to pass. I stood up, hand over my mouth, I tried not to panuc, but when you can't breath, thats hard. I stepped out of the room and stopped onxe I was out of sight of Dimitri and Carter. I leaned ageinst a wall, my breaths where now short horse pants. I reached into my pocket. Thank god I had my inhailer. I took a few breaths of the medication and my air ways cleared up. I took a few second just cetch my breath. I put my inhailer back into mt pocket and walked back into the room, still breathing deeply. I smiled zt Dimitri and Carter. "Sorry about that." I turned to Carter. "Okay, where were we." I sat down infront if Carter. I noticed Maybelle. "If you mind, could you keep her away from me, please."

╚══════════════╝ I smiled over at Savanah. "I's just happy." I smiled even more. Then my eyes fell on Alec. He really didn't look good. Jared seemed to notice this too. He walked over to Alec and draped an arm over his shoulders lightly. "How are tou feeling?"Alec shook his head. "Bad.""Did you take your meds yet?" Jared asked lightly. Alec just shook his head. "Come on baby." Jared lovingly help Alec up and lead him up stairs. I stood there and watched them leave. God I felt bad for both of them. Mostly Alec. I sat down next to Savanah. "Poor Alec." I lowered my voice and leaned closer to Savanah. "Poor guys got HIV. Can't help but worry. Plus, Jared finally found some one he lives, and he's this sick. But, Jared doesn't care. He just wants to spend as much time he can with him. He got it from his ladt boyfriend. So far, he's not as sick as he could be. Or at least thats what doctor said." I took a drink of the ornge juice I stole from Jared, then layed an arm around savanahs shoulders. "You can go back to sleep if you want."

Savanah shook her head, still digesting the information Adrian had given her. "I'm alright. I'm just...sore..." She looked up and smiled gently. "Where did Liz and Andrew go?" She had only seen Jared and Alec down here, so far.
Her cell buzzed, and she picked it up off the table from where she put it before. Lucky she didn't have to move. It was a call from Dimitri.
Perfectly sure about who was calling her, she answered with a tired, "What's going on baby?"
A pause. "Hmm....I love you too, Savanah, but not in that way." Melody's voice said back. "And as an after thought, your cheating on Adrian? Not that I can blame you though, he's as hot as the surface of the sun, if not a little quiet and brooding, but still!"
Savanah smiled. "I was expecting this to be Carter. My baby." She ignored two thirds of Melody's response with ease.
Melody's high pitched, fairie like laugh rang through the reciever. "Ohhh! Well that's good. I mean, that your not cheating on Adrian. He's such a sweet heart! If not a little rash, and hard headed, and weird and-"
"Melody! Are you high?"
"Only because of Rudi. I walked into our room, and it was meth, and it only took a few breaths of it, and here I am!" She laughed again. "Oh, I almost forgot what I called you for because you side tracked me! Kaidne got arrested!" Her voice wasn't amused anymore. It was more...serious. As serious as she could be on a high potent drug.
Savanah went silent for a minute. "...what?" Her voice was quiet, and dark.
"Yeah. He went crazy. Really. He stole Rudi's meth, and used it. From our room, Rudi saw what happened afterward. Kaidne like, attacked Jet. Rudi, being high, thought they were playing. Then, Kaidne went off, and assulted an officer."
"Is he around my son?"
"Um...yeah, it looks like their playing...is that Candyland?"
"Get him away from him. Now." Savanah had stood up, and started pacing. As soon as Melody had said Kaidne had gotten arrested, she put the cell on speaker phone, and mouthed 'Kaidne' to Adrian.
Melody paused. "Why? He's not doing anything. And Dimitri's there. You know how badass he is with the fighting..."
Savanah shook her head, as if somehow Melody would see it. "No. Now."
"He's in rehab with Micheal, and...I forget his name...well whatever, Micheal's husband's house, and he's being taken care of there. Kaidne's fine. Carter's loving the attenting he's giving him, and screams like crazy everytime he come's around." Melody's voice went affectionate, like she thought this was the sweetest thing she had ever heard.
Savanah paused. She loved Kaidne dearly, and didn't want to hurt his feelings, but the thought of her child, five year old Carter, being around someone who was still in the process of rehab? It made her stomach clench. "Melody...just make sure Kaidne doesn't...do anything okay? I love the guy, but Carter's so impressionable...I don't want our mistake's to happen to him."
A pause. "I understand. I'll go watch them play, okay?"
"Thank's, Mel." She pressed end, and then it occured to her that she had called on Dimitri's cell. Hmm. Next time they talk, she'll ask.
Carter picked up Maybelle and set her on the side farthest away from Kaidne on the couch, but still near him. "Stay, okay Mawbelle?" He smiled lovingly at the dog. "Gwood gwrl!"
Dimitri watched Kaidne closely, noticing the asthma. Nothing much slipped past Dimitri. He watched too closely. But he didn't voice anything, and motioned to the game. Carter picked up a card, and started playing. He was at the red block. "Your turn, Uncle Kaidne!" Carter smiled.

╚══════════════╝ I just looked at Savanah, alittle stunned from what I just heard. "God, Kaidne, I... I would have never guessed." I stood up and draped my arm over savanah's. "It's okay. You know Melody and Dimitri would never let any thing happen to Carter. I'm sure both of them could kick Kaidne's a**." I smiled and laughed lightly, trying to lighten the moment. "Come on, I want to see how my other child is doing."I let go of Savanah's shoulders. I had no idea where Andrew, Liz and Julia were, but, I might have an idea. I started towards the guest room down stairs. I pushed open the french doors lightly. I didn't find Andrew, but I did find Liz and Julia. Julia and Liz were asleep on the bed. A little makeshift crib made out of pillows is where Julia was. I walked into the room quietly, not wanting to wake up either of them. I leaned down beside the side of the bed. I stroked Julia's dark hair lightly. "Hey there baby girl." I said quietly and I could have sworn, I saw her smile. My lips curled up in a pleasent smile. She was so beautiful. "I love you." I stood up and made my way back to the door. I looked back once more before closing the door. I walked up to Savanah's side. "Best let them sleep." I started walking back to the kitchen. "So, what do you want to do now?"

╚══════════════╝ "Just calm down!" I snapped at Jet, who asked me if he could keep the horses. He had got franic and confused, some of it was over other things, but I just didn't feel like asking. "Now, just... go some where else." My head was hurting, so I just shrugged Jet off for the moment. I walked down stairs, and found, Dimitri. Then I saw Kaidne and Carter playing around. I had to force my self not to toss Kaidne out of my house. I was still mad at him. Nothing personal about him. I also dislike Rudi. Both did drugs, both reminded me of my brother. I shook Colt from my head. He was dead, and I was sort of glad about that. I leaned ageinst the wall and watched the three. I noticed Jets little dog, sitting all dejected away from every one else. I felt bad for her. I made my way over to the little dog and scooped her up. I sat down on the couch and stroked... Maybelle... thats it. I stroked Maybelle's long soft fur. Some thing Mailard never had. Again, I shook the thought from my head. I didn't want to think about Mailard. Jazmin came out of no where. "Hey daddy." I tried to hide my pathetic shreik as I jumped. An eight year old girl scared the hell out of me. Wow. Jazmin laughed. "Any thing fun to do around here?"I was able to get my breathing under control. "Maybe you could play with Kaidne and Carter." I motioned over to the two. Jazmin lit up. "Okay" She skipped over to Kaidne and Carter. She dropped to her knees near them. "Hey guys, may I play?" Awe, she's such a sweet heart.

Carter smiled happily at Jazmine, and picked up the pink player. Again, he being five years old, totally expected Jasmine to worship the color pink. Everything was simple with him. The sun was bright, water was wet, and girls his age were disgusting. Older girls...not so much. They always squealed, and fussed over him when he was around. He liked that. But he liked Jazmine. She was nice to him. "Uh huh. That's your's. That's mine, and that's Uncle Kaidne's." He pointed to each of the players in turn. "Its Uncle Kaidne's turn, so you go after him." He saw Jorden sitting on the couch suddenly, and jumped, afraid. He was still scared of him. Uncle Jorden had been yelling, and mean lately. He wasn't used to yelling, or anyone being mean to him. He was used to soft, gentle, and patients (this is the actual spelling...I looked it up...I was afraid it wasn't the right spelling, because it looked wrong...but aparently it isn't...it looks wrong though! crying ), like Mommy, Daddy, and everyone else gave him. No one was loud, or mean to him. So when Uncle Jorden started to, he was automatically terrified.
Dimitri looked from Carter, to Jorden. "Hello, Jorden. Are you feeling better?" He said quietly, and ruffled Jazmine's hair softly. Carter stood between Kaidne's legs, and pressed his back agaisnt his stomach.
Savanah shrugged. "I dunno. I don't really care. I'm just...tired. Wanna go take a nap?" She smiled, only half kidding. "Or we could go...buy a crib for Julia, for when we get back home." That, was slightly reluctant. But whatever. She'll do either. She could suck it up.

╚══════════════╝ It hurt to see Carter so scared of me. I never did any thing to him. I loved kids. I'm not Johnathin. I sighed, and rubbed my temples. I decided to answer Dimitri first. "I don't know." I said softly. I looked back over at Carter, and noticed Kaidne wouldn't look at me in the eyes. God, did every one find me terrifing lately. To be honest, I didn't know how to respond to this. I was at a loss for words. Thankfully, Jazmine helped me out. She stood up and walked over to Carter and rubbed his shoulder. "It's okay Carter, my dads a nice guy. No reason to be afraid." Kaidne obviously didn't buy that. He glared at me, and his feral green eyes where cold. I was about to say some thing, when out of no where, I coughed. I didn't think much of it, until I tasted that all to familier taste in my mouth. I looked down and noticed blood on my hands. I coughed again, coughing up even more blood. Okay, not that much, but it was still blood. I quickly stood up and left the room, noticing Jazmine's eyes wide and terrified. I walked to the nearest bath room and washed the blood off my hands and rinsed my mouth of all traces of the stuff. Okay, apparently, I'm not okay. I walked into the kitchen and pulled out a bottle of wine from the fridge. I poured some into a normal class, to lazy to grab a wine glass. I leaned up ageinst the counter and sipped on the wine.

╚══════════════╝ I smiled over at Savanah. "You don't have to worry about that. We will make arrangements for Julia when we get back home. So, how's about you nap." I walked Savanah into the living room but stopped. Jared and Alec where there. When the hell did they get there. Jared was sitting on the couch, and Alec as laying on it, his head resting on Jareds lap. Jared stroked Alec's blonde hair. "I'm serious guys, you two should wear those collor witht he bells. Like what cats wear. At least then I know where you are. You freakin Ninja's." I sat down on the other couch and pulled savanah down with me. Alec laughed softly and looked over at me. "Now, there is a reason we don't...""'Cause it's fun to mess with your brain." Jared finished. Alec just smiled and nodded. "Adrian." A cold flat voice said. I looked up, and Liz's mom was standing there. I stood up quickly and walked threateningly up to her. Alec had sat up, and Jared had wrapped his arms around him. He was holding Alec back. Every one in my family hated Liz's mom. I glared deeply at the aweful woman. "Get out!" I snapped. "First off, you come here, insulting and bashing our religion, then you attack me personaly, and then you vanilize our property! I'm done with it! I wont have it any more! Get the ******** out!!" I snapped viosusly. I was litterly, an inch from ripping her head off. "You can't order me around." She said smugly. My anger spiked. "This is my house!! Now get OUT!!" Mrs. Krus seemed to sence the danger in my tone, and in my eyes. She cringed away from me in fear and with out a word, turned and left the house. I had to take a moment to calm down before I even moved. When I felt I was under control, I turned around and sat back down next to Savanah. I smiled. "Ignore the hag from hell."

She tapped her shoulder, then when she turned around, snapped her fist forward, punching the woman straight in the jaw. She aimed for the jaw, so she couldn't talk anymore. At least, not for a while. Moving would hurt. "Talk to, or come near my boyfriend, again, and I'll show you what real pain is, b***h." She growled, and turned back inside. Once inside, she looked down at her fist. Her hand was smudged with blood. Not her blood. Oops. She smiled guiltily at Adrian, Jared, and Alec.
