Karin thought for a while. "Wouldn't you miss home, sweetie? And what about the animals? Who would take care of them? You can stay here if you want, but I think I'd like to go back home." She smiled sadly.

"It's your choice, Maria. I agree that it's lovely here, but I would miss the farm," Karin said softly, sadly, and hugged Maria.

Maria shook her head. "If you're not staying, then I'm not staying. But we can visit, right?" She asked, hopeful.

"Of course. Fryma said so." Karin nodded feverishly as she spoke. "He said we could as we wished, right?"

Maria smiled and nodded. "I'll visit every day!" She went to hug her brother. "We're going back to the farm, but I promise to visit a lot!" Moni nodded and hugged her back, kissing her forehead for luck.

Karin hugged Moni, too. "I'll visit every day, too." She bowed to Fryma. "Thank you for your protection and hospitality. You are a very kind spirit."

Moni smiled and nodded at her, kissing her cheek and then kissing Maria's forehead. He was glad that they would visit. 'If you run into any trouble in the village, let us know." He told them seriously, using a stick to write it in the dirt.

"Would you like a guide back to the village," Fryma asked before they could leave. Swiftfoot appeared seemingly out of nowhere to escort them to the edge of the woods should they ask it.

Swiftfoot padded silently just in front of them as she led the way, occasionally sticking her snout in the air a growling playfully. At the edge of the forest, she licked their faces and hands and any place else she could reach before letting them go. It was her way of saying, "You'll always be welcome. Come back soon to play."
