Emma nodded, still not meeting his eyes as she handed over the keys (flinching when she touched his skin).
She did not know what he was planning; she was too distracted at the feeling of her burden lessening. The enchantress cast a questioning look at Carnideer.

"Let me go with you, sir. The gas won't affect me and if you go down, somebody will need to pull you out."
Remus was not asking, either. If Emma lost control, the automaton would explode and he didn't want to risk hurting anybody if that happened.

James just nodded reassuringly at Emma.
"I can't exactly be poisoned." When I'm already dead. Glancing at Kaok quickly, he didn't add that part. "But if you wish it."
The man took the keys to the door and opened it, just a little. Curiously, he sniffed at the air outside a little... and it was perfectly fine now. Before Doctor Evros could see, he shut the door again.
"Well, so much for that, apparently it's fine."

Chris shuddered and stood, The tears dried on her face, Her lips in a hard line.
"If you see my hammer, Use it. Its strong and you might need weapon backup."

"Did you see Evros up there, Mr. Ackley?" Remus asked, wondering if the doctor decided to stick around or execute whatever nefarious plan he had elsewhere.

"He's up there, but he's focused on the Centrifuge. He didn't spot me." The soldier turned to the others.
"What's our plan of attack?"

Emma was quiet as William turned back to her and the others, still examining the floor rather than look at him. The enchantress had stopped shaking, but was instead withdrawing from the group, sticking to a small plot of shadow.
The other member of the House of Bainbridge was nowhere to be seen.

Remus would have asked about Hrothbert's sudden disappearance, but there were more pressing matters at the moment. The strategic cogs in his mind turned.
"I think we should try to escape the building and trap him inside, if that's possible." Remus suggested.

William eyed the Enchantress, somewhat worried, but brought his gaze back to the others.
"Yes. If it's possible, I would suggest taking that course of action. Of course, he's not just going to let us waltz out of the lab. There could be obstacles."

"Stealth or head-on attack?" Emma asked quietly, hands folded in front of her. She didn't notice the soldier watching her; if she had, it would only have made things worse for her.
Emma gave a small start as the link in her head snapped like a twig.
It was suddenly very quiet in her mind and very, very lonely.

"I think we should make our own obstacles for Evros." Remus suggested. He looked around the room at the various atrocities, some of which might still be alive.
"What if we let all of his past experiments loose in the lab? It might cause just enough chaos for us to escape and seal him in. If we're lucky, they'll rip Evros apart too. I think it would be a fitting end for him."

"None of them are capable of moving at present." William muttered - and it would seem as though he looked a little guilty, wondering how he could have been sucessfully brought back and not the others. Kaok didn't understand, he didn't know any of them.
She spoke up. "We already outnumber him. We were only forced down here because he had the element of surprise on his side. We're six of us, and now we've got that going for us."

I'll not allow them to be used like that. Little bursts of silver-blue were visible in the darkness, hovering over the bodies as a spell was beginning to be woven.
The message echoed in all of their heads with no traceable source. Emma shivered, hearing the cold detachment in his tone.

Remus felt the words in his head and decided against that plan of action.
"Well then, we'll go with Kaok's plan. I'll hold him down, you guys can punch." Remus said, smashing his metal knuckles into his palm. He hoped that's what they were all going to do, as he was getting impatient with standing around and planning.

James, William and Kaok all agreed with that course of action, and in almost no time at all the group was standing behind the door back into the lab - William at the head.
"Are we all ready?"
