Kitty only continued to walk, not hearing Riddle behind her at all. She was too lost in her own thoughts to really concentrate on anything but the here and now.

Riddle caught up with her rather quickly.
"KITTY!"
He was still a little ways back, but in hearing range.
"Who knows...who really knows..."
Takato smiled nervously.

"Yea... Well, there's nothing we can really do is there?"
Kitty stopped for a minute, actally thinking that she had heard Riddle's voice. She shook her head, finally thinking that she was only hearing things... Or maybe only hearing what she wanted to hear... So she continued to walk on this deserted beach.

Autumn nodded solemly. She really wished she could help out her Mother. Her Mother seemed so happy after Christmas Day.. The day that she finally confessed to Riddle her love for him. But now, she was nothing but depressed.... And she just couldn't understand why.
"Riddle...?"
Kitty turned around, only to see Riddle running towards her. Her face automatically lit up with happiness.

He caught up to her quickly and stopped.
Takato probably had a good guess. He wasn't sure though, but he wondered if he should tell Autumn.

Autumn sighed some. She then looked up at Takato, an emotionless expresstion on her face.
"If you don't mind.. I'd like to go sit down on the couch back downstairs. I feel a little dizzy right now..."

"But Riddle... You need your space.. Plus, Floe and Emily are alone at home right now and they can't be for too long... I need to at least go home and bring them back out with me..."
Autumn nodded back, going downstairs slowly. She had a lot on her mind right now... Her Mother was depressed.. She was a big sister to two new feathers... And Riddle seemed to be in a bad mood as well. The only one cheerful was Takato...

Takato was an optimist, he was always trying to be cheerful. Truthfully, he was very worried, but he wouldn't show that he was. Takato started for his own room, when he realized he hadn't heard Shona or Natu say anything. He crept down the hall and peeked into Shona's room...to find Natu, lying on the floor, KOed, and Shona gone.
"Alright, go get them...I shouldn't be asking you, but I just feel horrible..."

"Alright... Would you like to come with me? It's not too far from here really..... Emily can walk on her own... But Floe is still a feather yet..."
Autumn had finally gotten downstairs. She began to walk over to the couch when she saw a flash or something yellow quickly go by the window. Curious as to what it was, she went over to the panes, looking outside. There, in the far distance, was a yellow figure... However, she couldn't make out who or what it was...

He nodded.
"Alright."
Shona dashed farther, heading away and gliding over rivers. She was trying to make out of Riddle was close or not, so she could avoid him. Shona glided over the next river, and was heading towards the city's edge, towards the wilderness.
Takato stared in shock, running over to Natu and kneeling down next to him.
"Oh no..."
Natu had large red marks covering his face, and hands. His staff was lying next to him. He had clearly tried to stop something. But the marks...they were like lashes....Shona did this?!

Takato picked Natu up and carried him to Natu's room. Then he laid Natu on his bed and healed him.
