Kuro, on the ground, realized how feeble his attempt was to knock out a series of helicopters and tanks with a simple infantry weapon. Rather, he instead hatched the brilliant idea to use one of the heavily armed, high powered multiple station cannon groups in the tower in order to achieve his objective; with a spray of 12.7mm x99mm BMG bullets at over 10,000 rounds per minute, he would hardly even have to aim, just shoot and point. Turning abruptly, Kuro faced the entrance, the bottom of the stairs, and began racing towards the top of the tower.

((Dark that's... Two blatant disregards for the AMP you've just done. I'm not counting your actions... You just walked over to an air cannon, aimed it, squeezed the trigger, and went ahead and fired a bunch of bullets. The amount of time that takes is roughly a minute in rl; you just did it in like three seconds.
Each post is something which occurs in roughly 3-5 seconds sans the dialog- you don't walk to the other side of the beach in 3-5 seconds. You just... climbed a flight of stairs, kicked someone out of a seat, aimed it, squeezed the trigger, and went ahead and figured that your weapon was going to fire in under a second. That's physically impossible in rl. So... yeah.
I hope my reiteration will allow you to understand the situation better. Please edit your post. whee ))

" they sped over head the towers after releasing their MAverick missile onto the tanks below " if you need more help just call us, we'll be here."

Jack was high above the ground crews, his radar cone locked onto a helicopter as he launched a sparrow at the copter, keeping it trained to the copter.

What you can do in 3-5 seconds sans the dialog. However... planes, like you say, go roughly 200 times faster than ground units, and have computers and whatnot, so it's a little easier. Also, you've been posting flying around the island, asking for clearance, and looking for targets for the last three pages now so, your more than prepared. wink A way to think about it is to think about it like this; you can do a super mega quadruple back spin in three seconds right? Well, while doing that, you can also do everything that's required to do a jump like that; duck your head down, move your legs up, toss your body around, jump, things like that. You can breath, blink, cough, grab something, even go to the restroom if you like. So, for instance, locking onto a target with a super powered computer and squeezing the trigger is something that you know that you can do in like three seconds; all the while your plane is flying closer, so that's reflexive, your moving and attacking at the same time and it makes sense. What ever makes sense in rl. Also, think about this. You can't just 'attack' someone, you have to wait for their response right? But you can attack the air all you want. You can press like 50 buttons in a second, if your good enough, you can 'attack the air' with any array bullets or missiles (that you have) and can do a number of things like that. Remember, keep it realistic, and keep the other player in mind. If you do that... you'll be fine! ))

Out of nowhere Adam felt a huuuuge surge of relief as he knew his squad was now safe. He looked at the sky and smiled thanks to whatever deity watched over his squad.
Jose and Larise were still busy firing off constant rounds from the anti-air cannons at the troops below.

Hatter sat quietly. Matt was higher than hell from the drugs the medic gave him to ease the pain. She picked up her communicator,"How you holding up Adam?"She asked. She then looked at Kylee, and Jase, and Tyler. They looked tired, this would be good for them. The little rest they'd get would help them be prepared for the next battles to come.

The 12.7mm rounds, and in particular the guns that fired them, usually had a devastating effect on whatever they were aimed at; regardless of how accurate the rounds were. In this case, however, the rounds did very little damage to the pluthera of tanks and hot iron barreling through. The rounds worked in a peculiar way; slashing through steel, embedding themselves into the iron, and then exploding, sending a spray of hot molten zirconium all around and inside the material, eating a deep hole in the material they struck. The few tanks that were struck did suffer from such a heavy impact, ripping off layers of steel and Kevlar from their hides, and even causing the crew inside to ignite to temperatures far beyond their bodies could handle, scorching their skin a dark black and causing their eyes to roll over, while their hair was singed by the sheer heat of the air.
Despite the massive amount of 12.7mm x 99mm BMG rounds exiting the cannons, they little damage in the time required to annihilate a group of nearly 16 tanks, 32 hum Vees, and 80 foot soldiers. Although roughly two tanks, two Hum Vees, and 6 foot soldiers were eitheir died or burning, too many tanks and vehicles remained, ready to fire, for the AA tower to take care of them all. Instead, the tanks unleashed a volley of 90mm and 120mm Kinetic Energy round fire towards the towers, the HumVEE's a spray of 12.7mm rounds themselves, and the ground units their 5.56mm x45mm meager rounds, and whatever grenades they could.

Jose and Larise rolled off their cannons and ducked for cover, putting their hands over their heads, almost simultaneously. "Dammit, why did Adam have to be the one to get hit..." Jose muttered.
Larise groaned. "If only Jeff and Robert were here...Those sick bastards play too many video games and usually know what to do..." Bullets were still wizzing around, and Larise was pretty sure she just heard a loud bang.
[Well sorry guys, I had to do a ridiculous ammount of community service for my MCJROTC class, I must say, I have more oorah in me than ever]
